A delightful and delicious tour
Had an absolutely fantastic afternoon with Swoyam as he introduced us to so many new and amazing dishes. Not only was the food fantastic but we were given a wonderful insight into Nepalese history and culture along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu. So many of the places we visited were tucked away down little alleys or in quiet squares that we would never have discovered by ourselves. Thank you for a truly unique afternoon.

This tour was amazing! It...
This tour was amazing! It was very interesting for its cultural and historical significance and especially for the spiritual experiences. We sat with a yogi and participated in the cremation ceremony, both of which were extremely moving spiritually and emotionally. We were really impressed by the acceptance and grace of the Nepalese people we encountered during these experiences. Nabine was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and receptive to reading our interests and needs. It was definitely the high point of larger 3-week tour of India and Nepal. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an in-depth cultural and spiritual experience.

Even for picky eaters this was amazing !
Me and my friends joined this tour and absolutely loved it - one of the members is an absolute picky eater that dislikes most South Asian foods and was considering cancelling the tour for her but we convinced her and she was incredibly surprised by how versatile and tasty the Nepali cuisine is - Deepak is also a great guide and explained so many things about the food, the culture , politics , history and even random facts
10/10 tour overall we absolutely recommend everyone to try - btw the momos were delicious !!!

Great guide and great tour!
Punam is a knowledgeable and personable guide. The 4 UNESCO sites give a comprehensive overview of what makes Kathmandu unique. Punam provided a bit of anecdotal information that helped paint a clearer picture.
Just an aside, the cremation visit can be unsettling for some.

Insightful 2-Day UNESCO tour with Dipesh from Breakfree Adventures
I recently joined a 2-day tour with Breakfree Adventures, guided by Dipesh. The first day was spent exploring five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, each brought to life through Dipesh’s deep knowledge of history and religious traditions. On the second day, we traveled to Nagarkot for sunrise, but due to heavy fog we couldn’t see it. Dipesh quickly adapted the plan and ensured the day remained memorable by continuing with visits to Changu Narayan and Bhaktapur, completing the UNESCO circuit.
What stood out most was Dipesh’s patience and ability to explain complex cultural and religious details in a way that was easy to understand. He was attentive, understanding, and made the tour both educational and enjoyable. I am very grateful for his professionalism and kindness, and I would highly recommend Dipesh and Breakfree Adventures to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-organized tour in Nepal.

I thoroughly enjoyed this...
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Deepak! He's super conversational and friendly. We went to a lot of local restaurants. He called ahead to make sure that the food came out right on time. I love the vegetable momos! If you are traveling alone in Kathmandu and needs a good local guide, I highly recommend Deepak!

Memorable Tour! Wonderful Guide
Monica and our driver took me on a fantastic tour. So informative and detailed, tailored to my needs and interests. As a solo traveler, I felt so well taken care of. I loved learning about the history of each town and seeing all the temples. The highlights were definitely visiting the pottery store in Bhaktapur and having homemade lunch at a local homestay in Panauti. Would definitely recommend to solo and groups!

I had a wonderful...
I had a wonderful experience at the Nepal Cooking School! I chose one of the three menus, and I was so excited that they all taught you how to make momo. As the only student that afternoon, I had my teachers' undivided attention, which gave me the freedom to ask as many questions as I wanted. Both teachers were incredibly welcoming and happy to have me. We started by using my "sniffing power" to identify the spices used in Nepali cuisine, and then the four-course cooking began. I even had a funny challenge trying to perfect my momo—it was such a fun experience! I highly recommend this class to everyone. You'll have a blast cooking and get to enjoy your own delicious creations afterward.

Cable car near Kathmandu
Ananta is an amazing tour guide. Taking the cable car to the mountain near Kathmandu was one of the highlights of my trip. The views were stunning—lush valleys, terraced hillsides, and the distant outline of the Himalayas. But what made the experience truly memorable was the cultural and historical storytelling along the way.
As we ascended, I was captivated by the guide’s narration of Nepal’s deep-rooted history, its ancient kingdoms, and the spiritual significance of the mountain. I especially enjoyed learning about local myths and legends—stories passed down through generations that gave the landscape a magical, almost sacred feel. The blend of natural beauty and cultural richness made the ride feel much more than a simple trip up a mountain—it was a journey through Nepal’s soul.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu who wants a mix of scenic views and cultural depth.
