Ben done a stirling job with great bush knowledge and made sure we were all well on our hike, great interaction with us all and a great day out!

Loved the hike to the rocks, they’re definitely worth seeing! Shops were okay but not necessary. We enjoyed them but would’ve loved if it was just the hike and exploring some more of the island. Matt was a great guide! Loved that he was relaxed and attentive to our needs. He was knowledgeable and very kind to us guests. He did a great job and we had a fantastic day.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, Maria. We’re thrilled you loved the hike and those coastal rock views. We appreciate the feedback about wanting more time exploring the island, and we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Matt. It’s great to hear he helped make the day relaxed and memorable.

Make sure you are fit if doing this tour. We chose wrong option however walked to sites and areas only available by foot. Heather was great. Includes 3hr hike.

Thank you for your review and for joining our Bruny Island Adventure.
We’re glad you enjoyed the walk and the unique sites only accessible on foot, and it’s great to hear Heather looked after you so well. Thanks also for the helpful note about fitness levels, it’s useful for future guests planning their day.
We appreciate you travelling with us and hope to welcome you back again.

This tour operator is very rude. They are not friendly at all. I won’t recommend this for anyone. They took money from me and left me without picking me on the tour day with rude behaviour. When requested for a refund, their response is not good at all. Talking in rude manner. I am not at all happy with Viator also in this case. How can you fool someone like this ? Not recommended at all.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify what happened.
Our team works hard to ensure that all details of the tour are clearly communicated. Our customer service team sends out the meet point instructions and other essential details prior to the tour day, along with a final reminder the day before. All of this information is clearly noted in your Viator ticketing details as well.
As mentioned in our previous communications via Viator, we made multiple attempts to assist you in locating the correct meeting point when you called on the morning of the tour. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to guide you, it seems you were unable to locate the departure point. Our Tour Guide was ready to depart with all other guests on board and even waited an additional 15 minutes past the scheduled meet time for you to arrive. However, there comes a point when we must respect the timeline and the other guests in order to stay on schedule and complete the full itinerary of the tour.
We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we are sincerely sorry that you missed the tour. However, as the tour was fully booked, we are unable to offer a refund for the missed experience. These terms and conditions were clearly outlined in both your Viator ticketing details and our previous messages.
It’s important to note that your tour was not missed due to any errors or lack of service from either Viator or Tours Tasmania. We adhere to our policies to ensure fairness to all customers, especially on busy, fully-booked days. While we did consider the option to transfer you to another tour, this was not possible due to the timeline of your travels.

Great mix of places to see on the island, with a lovely walk included.
Walk was always surprising us just ahead with lots to learn about the area.

Clinton was a great guide, I’d probably skip raspberry farm and couple other food shops, and spend time visiting lighthouse or actual Penicott rock formations.. Overall, good way to see a bit of island without driving!

Great day out with an exciting Hike and great food. Bruny Island Beer was a highlight at lunch. Our guide was very informative and really structured so we saw everything.

They cancelled the tour on that morning. Luckily we joined another tour, but we paid a lot more than we expected.

Had an amazing day! Totally recommend this tour. The hike to the beach was great. Excellent views of the ocean. Loved the small group size. Nick (tour guide) was very friendly and knowledgeable about Tasmania.
Kirsten_L, Jan 2024
Our guide was Nick. He was very knowledgeable about history and science. He also was good at timing our arrivals to keep us away from the crowds. Our group of 9 often was alone to enjoy views or beaches, which is a great experience in January. I liked having a long nature walk, but I did find the 2nd hour very challenging because the climb was quite steep and it was hard for me to keep pace with the younger participants. A couple of ladies actually had to wait on the trail for an hour for us to return to them. There was no rock or bench for them to sit on, but they never would have made it. My main advice is to book this tour if you have a high level of fitness, and consider your capacity if you are over 55 and not an athlete. I work out at the gym 3 days a week and consider myself active, but the walk was very challenging. I was sore the next day, but it was still worth it.

Our guide, Trevor, really made this tour. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and offered some wonderful insights into TAS. Small sized tour group was a bonus!
