A wonderful sightseeing adventure

We had a wonderful excursion with our tour guide Chris, and a great group of other adventurers. Chris was personable and knowledgeable. We discussed many things from books and folklore to movies and history. We went many places over long distances, so the stops were short, but this is a great opportunity to get some.gorgeous photos and a taste of some beautiful places, planting the desire to return and give your favorites more attention. Scotland isn't somewhere you can experience in 1 visit and we cannot wait to come back.

Good view of Glasgow with lots of History

Very educational and good price. Riders may want to choose a bus with headphone tour so that they may hear best and in their own language. Bus on July 1st boarded at alternate stop and better visuals or communication would be helpful. Some of route had adjustments due to roadworks (with 2 stops out of order but adjacent stops very close for backtracking). For this reason we are not sure of entire route for future, but we thoroughly enjoyed the entire ride and decided not to disembark at any point.

Everything you could ever want in a tour that can only last a day!

Truly so special! Our guide Stuart was so knowledgeable and fun! The bus was really comfortable and being able to just look out the huge windows and enjoy was top notch. Sailing on Loch Ness was a highlight for sure but each stop we made brought the vistas you dream of when traveling to Scotland. Had an amazing three days touring Scotland and the Isle of Skye with our guide Aussie Mark! His knowledge was incredible - and we loved all the folklore shared as well! We are a family of four (two adults and a 9 and 13 year old) and this tour was a perfect way to learn and explore for kids and adults alike! We’ve never done a tour, and honestly I was reluctant to as we normally like to do our own thing - but this exceeded our expectations and was such a nice way to see tons, while learning and not having to worry about anything! Couldn’t recommend this tour more!!

Lovely countryside

This was a wonderful excursion with Viola. We were able to see so much in a short period of time. The beautiful Loch Lomand, the cute Green Welly shop which is a great place for souvenirs, the dramatic ruins of Kilchurn Castle, Inveraray, and the gorgeous views from Rest and be Thankful. Luss is a wonderful little town to walk through! Be aware that the beautiful Inveraray Castle is not open every day of the week. The scenery on this trip is lovely!

As our guide (“old” Cameron) mentioned, this is a great way to experience enough highlights of the Scottish countryside to make you want to come back and spend more time exploring. He’s correct. This was a long, packed day with many sights - Loch Lamond, stops in the Highlands, Loch Ness, an encounter with Highland Cows, and more. Our group consisted of adults, young adults, and teenagers. All enjoyed the day to say the least. “Old” Cameron took care to share many stories relative to our journey regarding Scotland and just so happened to be a very charming host/guide for our day. If you have limited time in Glasgow but want to get a flavor for the country, this is an ideal tour to maximize your day. Definitely recommend. Pro tip: make sure you arrive early and pay attention to departure information.

Worth every penny and more!

Our tour guide, Simon, was exceptional! There were four of us in our group from Florida so the Scottish accents are sometimes challenging in a fun sorta way but he purposefully slowed down his speech and clarified words for us. He was an excellent driver and his van was very comfortable. He was quite knowledgeable about Scottish history and current events especially soccer and other sports. He had a well planned itinerary and allowed us plenty of time to explore at each stop. He took us to some fun, off the beaten path, places including a small town pub. We highly recommend Simon!!
