What are people saying about Glasgow

A great way to learn about the city!
Our tour guide, Bruce, loves his city, loves talking to people, and loves sharing information about his city. He was interesting, informative, and went out of his way to keep things at a comfortable pace for us. He has a great deal of knowledge that only a Glaswegian would possess, and imparts it in extremely entertaining ways.
His recommendation of a local pub for us to visit prior to getting on our train was spot on.
We weren’t there a minute before engaging in friendly conversation with some local patrons.
We loved Glasgow and can’t think of a better introduction than this tour. Thanks Bruce!!

A magical day!
Young Steven took great care of us as we traveled the beautiful country side taking us to all the local Outlander stops. We had plenty of time to explore and enjoy them. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the stops and shared as we drove. The air is so fresh I wish we could bottle it up and bring home. As an added bonus there were Highland Coos to pet at Midhope Castle (Lollybroch)! So cute! Highly recommend this tour with Young Steven!

Local knowledge. Local flavor. Deeply authentic.
Johnny is an exceptionally passionate and engaging storyteller. You get the sense that this is not just a side hustle for him, but a true calling. Unlike other tours, where guides read off a script, Johnny seems to care deeply for Glasgow and delights in sharing the smallest of details. It's as if he takes you into his confidence, lets you in on the secrets, and makes you feel like you are among the locals. We had a blast. Highly recommend you take a gander with Johnny.

Very good, but really only scratched the surface of Glasgow city centre
It was only possible to cover a relatively small area of Glasgow in the time allowed, and I was a bit disappointed that we didn't at least visit the Cathedral and the Necropolis as had been promised. But on the plus side we did get an unrivalled tour of the impressive murals in that quarter of the city; our guide was very knowledgeable about these and the other sites we visited , and altogether it was a very interesting and enjoyable time.

We really enjoyed our food tour! Everything we ate was delicious, in varied and lovely spots we would not have found on our own. Our tour leader, Lei, was excellent: friendly, enthusiastic, informative, and engaging. We learned a lot about Glasgow and its history. Lei also gave us a lot of recommendations for other things to see and places to eat during our Glasgow visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour with Davy
We had one of the best experiences, partly because we got in the bus with a live guide who was really funny - Davy! He was hilarious to the point where no one wanted to get off the bus because we enjoyed it so much. The tour itself is really well structured and so much to see.

We had the pleasure of Grace as our tour guide, who was polite, insightful, engaging, knowledgeable and an enthusiastic. Grace made the tour thoroughly interesting and very memorable. Anyone coming to Glasgow, I would have no hesitation in highly recommend recommending they book this tour.

Our guide was Richard and he was friendly and knowledgeable and very interesting! He showed us great views of the Cathedral and Necropolis and some local landmarks, along with sharing history and urban legends and everything in between. A great showing!

Great history, better guide
I was in Glasgow alone for a conference and was skeptical how enjoyable it would be to go on a tour by myself. However, Graeme did an amazing job of making the group feel like a big family. Not only that, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout. The views were beautiful, and the history was amazing. Would do it again in a heartbeat :)

Great Tour of the Highlands
Definitely worth it, if it’s your first time exploring the Scottish Highlands. James was a great tour guide, and provided us with a wealth of information, which encourages us to come back! We also enjoyed the Loch Ness cruise and Owen’s presentation. Highly recommend!

James & the Giant Pub Crawl
We had a wonderful experience with James today. My partner is a devout beer lover, and I usually prefer cider or cocktails; however, James was determined to find a beer that I would enjoy and he succeeded. The walk around the city centre, even in the rain, could not dampen our moods.
We booked the tour as an alternative to the cruise ship offerings, and it was a great choice. My advice to future cruisers is to book an earlier tour time to give yourself some flexibility to get back to the port. We made it back in the nick of time and will laugh about and cherish our pub crawl with James.

Great introduction into Glasgow
Great whistle stop introduction into Glasgow by an engaging guide. Luke spoke loudly and clearly, told interesting, informative as well as some poignant stories from Glasgow's past.
One awkward thing was that the guide referred to voluntary payment at the start and the end of the tour. As I have already paid via Viator we just walked off but wondering if he was aware of this and was getting paid, I hope he was.
