Very nice experience! James was a lovely host. It was a great way to spend time in 3 different pubs and get a taste of 7 brews all while getting in a wee walk and the history of the beer industry in the Glasgow area.

What a great way to spend an evening in Glasgow! This was a small group tour (7 guest) and our guide was Leigh (forgive me if I've spelled it incorrectly). Leigh was very engaging and spent a bit of time knowing all of her guests and what they liked/disliked in a beer. Then off we went! Her knowledge of beer is astonishing! From the science of it, to the physical attributes, methods of brewing, the taste, and how to properly taste. She would "surprise" us with different beers and we would discuss all aspects of it and try to guess what we were drinking. Who knew that having a few beers could be so educational? This was a really enjoyable way to see a few pubs, try a few beers, and make a few new friends. Highly recommend.

This tour is a mix of walking history tour of Glasgow and pub visits with tastings and information about the beers we sampled. Our guide Iain was amazing. He knows a ton about the city of Glasgow and shared a lot of information in an entertaining way. He asked for our guidance about what types of beers we would want to try to give us the best experience which was great as well. The three pubs we stopped at we unique and fun and the walking tour part was paced well. This is such a great tour and myself and my family highly recommend it.

Ian did a great job showing us around and explaining the history of brewing and of Glasgow. We tasted some great and interesting craft and traditional beers in a variery of bars and pubs.

We had a wonderful experience participating in this tour with our guide Mhari. We were a nice small group of 3 couples. We went to three different craft beer establishments with 3-4 samples of many different types of beer. Highly recommended to all that like to try new flavours/styles of beer.

This was a lot of fun! We initially met our guide Iain the day before on the Glasgow Food and Drinks tour (also incredible) and were stoked to learn he would be our guide for this pub tour the following day as well.
Super knowledgeable. Easy to get a long with. All around cool guy.
Its definitely a fun and different way to see the city and try some local beers and drams.

He had an amazing experience our guide was Lain . He was very knowledgeable about history of Scotland and extremely knowledgeable about Scottish pubs and the processing of different types of beer As well as very knowledgeable of whiskey. I would definitely recommend this tour and especially Lain.

Our guide Aaron was wonderful. It was his first solo tour and a few things outside of his control went wrong and he was able to make adjustments and make it all work. He showed us three different pubs, and because the other people on our tour were expecting a food tour he was able to include that as well. We met some great people, and he shared a bunch of history with us as well.

So I wasn't able to do the Glasgow tour because they were short a guide that night, but Sara communicated days in advance to let me know my options. I didn't want to miss out on this tour, so she worked with me to find a time that worked for me and I ended up doing the Edinburgh version of this tour instead - with just me! Sara is one of the most amazing tour guides I've ever had. She's really built an empire by creating these tours. She knows all of the spots in the city - pointers you didn't even know you needed! She knows her beer and she knows her Scottish facts. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Edinburgh and will be booking this tour again if I ever return to either city. I'm sure you'll, too, learn a lot and make memories in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Thanks, Sara!

Ian was our guide, and he was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history as well as the beers we tried. It was great to learn about the history of the city/country and try some local beers in the process. Would recommend and do again!

This was an excellent peek into what Galsgow has to offer. The beer tastings were informative, but having the history connections alomg the way enriched the experience. Varry (sp) was an excellent guide and was great entertainment herself.

Although there were only 2 on our tour, our host (Colin?) was very interesting and informative. We were able to try several different beer types and heard lots of history on Glasgow and beer.
