This tour is a mix of walking history tour of Glasgow and pub visits with tastings and information about the beers we sampled. Our guide Iain was amazing. He knows a ton about the city of Glasgow and shared a lot of information in an entertaining way. He asked for our guidance about what types of beers we would want to try to give us the best experience which was great as well. The three pubs we stopped at we unique and fun and the walking tour part was paced well. This is such a great tour and myself and my family highly recommend it.

Our tour guide Leire was fantastic. We stopped for some good stories in between pubs which broke up the walking a bit, but also gave us a better appreciation for the city. She was quite knowledgeable about the beers too, and everything was presented with a great sense of Glaswegian humour! Thank you!
Great experience to learn the pub history in Glasgow. James was a very knowledgeable guide. Perfect length of time.
My tour guide, James, was very knowledgeable and he made the whole tour very enjoyable. He went out of his way to make sure that all of the drinks that we tried were tailored to our preferences while still giving us the ability to try a few things outside of our comfort zone. I would definitely recommend this tour!
This was a wonderful tour. We had friendly, enthusiastic leader, Lei who took us around to three pubs and also gave us some history of Glasgow.
We had a wonderful time on our tour. Our guide Mhairi was very knowledgeable and personable. We just had a great time. We highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. She taught us about elements of the city's history as we passed certain buildings on the way to each pub. The pubs were wildly different, with unique options to sample. I don't drink beer often, but I found multiple brews that I'll ask about back home.
If coming from a cruise port, factor in the travel time to and from the city center. We had to reschedule to an earlier tour on the day of, and they were able to accommodate us. We really appreciated that.
Ley was a wealth of information making this a great tour. Also enjoyed the many beers we tasted and one of the oldest pubs in Glasgow.

Great ! Our tour leader was fabulous. I can't remember how to spell her name but it is pronounced "Varry". Great selections. The Scottish beers were delicious. Met some new friends and recommend this tour to all.

We had a wonderful experience with James today. My partner is a devout beer lover, and I usually prefer cider or cocktails; however, James was determined to find a beer that I would enjoy and he succeeded. The walk around the city centre, even in the rain, could not dampen our moods.
We booked the tour as an alternative to the cruise ship offerings, and it was a great choice. My advice to future cruisers is to book an earlier tour time to give yourself some flexibility to get back to the port. We made it back in the nick of time and will laugh about and cherish our pub crawl with James.

What a great way to spend an evening in Glasgow! This was a small group tour (7 guest) and our guide was Leigh (forgive me if I've spelled it incorrectly). Leigh was very engaging and spent a bit of time knowing all of her guests and what they liked/disliked in a beer. Then off we went! Her knowledge of beer is astonishing! From the science of it, to the physical attributes, methods of brewing, the taste, and how to properly taste. She would "surprise" us with different beers and we would discuss all aspects of it and try to guess what we were drinking. Who knew that having a few beers could be so educational? This was a really enjoyable way to see a few pubs, try a few beers, and make a few new friends. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience participating in this tour with our guide Mhari. We were a nice small group of 3 couples. We went to three different craft beer establishments with 3-4 samples of many different types of beer. Highly recommended to all that like to try new flavours/styles of beer.

This was a lot of fun! We initially met our guide Iain the day before on the Glasgow Food and Drinks tour (also incredible) and were stoked to learn he would be our guide for this pub tour the following day as well.
Super knowledgeable. Easy to get a long with. All around cool guy.
Its definitely a fun and different way to see the city and try some local beers and drams.
