Amazing tour guide and experience!

We had Memo as our tour guide, and he really made this an amazing experience! He had great knowledge that he shared throughout the tour. He also helped to make sure we had an experience personalized to our interest, and he was able to help us see everything we wanted. He gave us plenty of time at each stop as well. We also really enjoyed our food during our stop for lunch. Our driver was excellent as well. Overall we highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommend a guide for a trip to the Giza pyramids. Our guide Ahmad was both personable and knowledgeable, and helped us navigate the crowds and the shuttle buses now required to reach the pyramids and the Sphinx. As it’s our first time in Egypt he was happy answering all our questions about its history and peoples, as well as the story of the pyramids themselves. Ahmad also showed us the best spots to take photographs. Recommend getting entry tickets to advance to avoid the queues. Also if you’re with a guide you don’t get hassle from vendors/hawkers, although we were fortunate going in early April when it’s not at its busiest.

The best experience I had

I had a fantastic experience on a 4-day Nile cruise. The entire cruise was very well organized. I was picked up right on time at the meeting point, and we boarded the ship quickly with a fast check-in. The cabins were extremely clean and tidy, and they were serviced every day. The food quality was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and respectful. Overall, I had a really wonderful experience on this 4-day cruise.

Wonderful experience at the Pyramids

We had a wonderful experience with this tour. Our guide, Haitham was extremely knowledgeable and gave us several insights into the history of the pyramids, the Kings and the Egyptian culture. The tour was perfectly paced, giving us sufficient time for photos. We would recommend starting early to give you time later in the day to do another tour/activity.

Bucket list trip🇪🇬

Went back in November with me and my sister, was a once in a life time trip! It was us 2, another 2 sisters from America and a family of 6 from UK. It was a lovely small group of 10 of us to 1 tour guide and 1 driver. We were told our flights and pick up time in advance and I asked as many questions as I needed where they answered promptly on WhatsApp. I unfortunately got the wrong stamp at boarder control despite paying for a VISA, so they sorted this for me at the airport which was great! Our pickup time was 3:30am and flight at 5am, so we landed in Cairo at a beautiful early time to miss all the traffic! Flight was great, nice big plane with free snacks and water which was nice. Great communication telling us where to go to get picked up, met our guide and off we went in our mini bus. Started at the pyramids 8am which was a great time to go early morning, especially with how hot it was too, tour guide Fahme was great with explaining everything and keeping us safe. Went into the free pyramids instead of paying which was good, went and saw the syphinx and some markets. We went to lunch after this 12pm which was a huge buffet, food was nice however very quick to get us in and out. Great views of the pyramids from the roof top of the restaurant. We originally didn’t pay extra for the new museum, and the rest of the tour did, so we happily upgraded and we are so glad we did, we went within the first 2 weeks of opening and it was incredible! We spent a few hours from 2pm here before then going to an Egyptian oils and perfumery shop 5:30pm which was good, tried some out and let us have a hands on experience smelling them all and then went to a Egyptian painting place but none of us were too interested with this. We spent some time traveling to the Nile and went on a boat ride here 6pm, it was getting late and we were all very tired by this point, it was more of a bucket list to tick off than a memorable experience on the boat ride. Stopped many times on the tour for toilet breaks and had plenty of cold bottles of water to give us, fahme was kind making sure we were all okay and hydrated as it was so hot! We ended up stopping at McDonald’s on the way back to the airport for dinner before being dropped off for our flight at 10pm. Minibus transferred us back from the airport to the hotel with no problems, managed to get in around midnight so the day was around 21 hours, very long day but one to absolutely remember! Thank you Fahme for being so kind and such an amazing tour guide, even en route to places he would make the driver stop to show us all the historical buildings and meanings behind them all. Was super knowledgable and managed to keep us all safe, as the area definitely wasn’t the safest at times! I would definitely recommend!

There's more to Cairo than the Pyramids, Sphinx & new Museum

Great trip to Saqqqara and the bent pyramid, the fore-runners of the great Pyramids. Fantastic to go inside the bent pyramid, 235ft down a 45 degree opening with a height of 1.1m, hard slog but worth it. I gather you can get inside the red pyramid (the first true pyramid) but it's even harder. Saqqqara and it's surrounding excavations and painted walls are more interesting than the great Pyramids and far fewer people were there. It deserves to be better known.

Extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide

We have had a few guides in Egypt and they were good. Mr H was better than good. We hired him and a driver for the Giza plateau tour and he had such a wealth of information. There was no question he didn't know the answer to and not just about the tour he gave us some really interesting insight into past and current events in Egypt which we really found fascinating. I honestly can't recommend him enough.

We have just completed the 4 day/3 night Nile cruise including Abu Simbel & a hot air balloon over the Valley of the kings. The cruise was booked with Go Tours, through Viator. Mohamed could not have been better in both communicating & arranging our requirements & additional tours & travel. We would highly recommend this company. Our boat was the Nile Shama & although a little tired, was excellent. We had a great cabin on the top deck & the food was surprisingly good with excellent service, especially considering how little we had paid. We were also pleased with the very reasonable on-board prices for drinks (150 egp for a beer or glass of wine). We were very lucky that our guide was Talaat Abdo. From the beginning, nothing was too much trouble. His depth of knowledge of the history of the sites delivered with a great sense of humour, made an intensive trip very enjoyable. He assisted many of our group with onward travel and always delivered with what he promised. Don't miss out on Abu Simbel or the hot air balloon, they are highlights we will not forget. Be prepared, you are packing a 7 day itinerary into 4 days, with early starts but ample time for relaxation. Sailing down the Nile, particularly at night was magical. We highly recommend this cruise, an experience we will never forget.
