Great Luxor Tour with Remon and Mr Nash!

Through Viator, I booked a great Luxor Tour with same day flight transport from Cairo for my husband and I. We were picked up at our hotel right on time by Shadi, great & friendly driver!, in a clean, well kept A/C sedan & brought straight to Cairo Airport, which was easy enough to navigate. The flight was only 1 hour & 15 minutes with light snack & drink, no issues & great views of the area/Nile if you have a window seat. Expect 2 rounds of bag check through scanner, shoes off & body search. Pickup was quick by our super knowledgable Tour Guide Remon Romany & our awesome driver, Mr. Nash!!! Local Luxor sites were visited, shopping, boat ride to a lunch spot in a banana farm, as well as great pix with different backgrounds taken, assisted by Remon. He was absolutely attentive to all our needs throughout the sites, our lunch, shopping and after in the drive back to the airport. We had a great time & are super glad we booked a private tour guide instead of a large bus group, as Remon helped us navigate everything important to see, before our flight back to Cairo. It was sweltering, but we managed. ESSENTIALS: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, an UMBRELLA, an electric hand fan with neck strap, water bottle/electrolytes, light backpack, light tshirt & light capri pants & sturdy high impact sneakers /sandals (no flipflops) are a must here to be prepared & stay comfortable. Thanks so much for a wonderful time, Remon! I would recommend family & friends who can handle full day, moderate walking on uneven stone surfaces, staircases & ramps in the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatsheput, etc. Best time is before April, to avoid extreme high temp days.

Amazing experience, a must do in Luxor

Initially cancelled due too wind, but rebooked for the following day and luckily the weather improved and the flight went ahead. It was an amazing experience, very well organised, and the crew was super professional and accommodating. I took the sunrise ride and I'd recommend it to everyone who is visiting Luxor. You won't regret!

The trip was incredible, the cruise ship was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Mona was our host and was always on top of things to make sure everything went smoothly and on time—highly recommended! Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing experience. We weren’t the first ones to take off as there were around 3 different staggered take offs but we got amazing views of the first round of balloons taking off. It was looking like our tour was going to be cancelled due to the wind but somehow my prayers were answered. Abdullah was really friendly and explained what was happening. Definitely worth it for the early start. We got picked up and dropped off aswell.

A MUST (for the travel girlies)

This was the coolest thing we did. I was worried that there wouldn’t be any other balloons for sick pictures like the ones you see on Pinterest but there were plenty. The operators were kind and professional. They picked us up from our hotel and communicated with us via WhatsApp. We showed up in the dark and were in the air for sunrise as well as some time after. Gorgeous views of the temples, the Nile, and lots of Luxor farmland. Everything was very safe. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing

It was absolutely fantastic. The transfer showed up on time, then we got into a boat where they offered coffee or tea and a little cake while we crossed the Nile river. After that we got into another van and went to the takeoff site. It's absolutely amazing seeing the whole process of filling up all the balloons. The flight was absolutely amazing and really smooth, both on takeoff and the landing. The capitan Mo was amazing, and give us insights about what we were seeing, and was always rotating the balloon to ensure that everyone was able to see and take photos properly. I can't recommend enough this experience!

Once in a lifetime trip.

We took a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and the ship was outstanding!! We sailed on the Amwaj, 4 days 3 nights, it was clean and very comfortable. They had Great food, staff was friendly and attentive. They even surprised us at dinner with a birthday cake on my husband’s birthday. Our private guide thru the 4 days was Ahmed. He was an excellent guide, friendly, and very well versed in Egyptian culture. Ahmed looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and safe. He stayed on schedule and even offered us Egyptian coffee, which was outstanding. Also included with our booking was a balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise. It was absolutely beautiful and so worth it. This was a once in a lifetime trip, and we would definitely recommend this cruise. Make sure to ask for the best guide they have; Ahmed 😊

What an incredible expeience

A well organised and incredible experience! All of our drivers and guides were professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We were kept well informed of flights, pick up times and itinerary for the day ahead. Be prepared for long days, with early morning (4-5AM start) and late evenings (10-11PM), but well worth it to beat the heat and tourists! We were well fed and hydrated throughout the day, with breakfast, snacks and water. The included lunches provided a great variety of food which tasted absolutely divine.

Great price to see everything that you need to see in Egypt With expert guides

Great 8 day tour starting in Cairo with airport pickup… all messages down via WhatsApp from our organiser Bassant who was very contactable all the time and arranged all our drivers Picked up on time everywhere we went Day 1..3 star hotel in Giza ( not very good… staff there not friendly and I think you could find better options as it’s too far from the downtown eating out area and food at hotel was terrible)BUT it has rooftop with perfect views of pyramids We opted to stay 4 star in Cairo on return which was great Overnight sleeper was comfortable but very poor quality trains… food was great and even though it took 13 hrs to Aswan it was an experience Next to the 4 night river cruise from Aswan… dated boat but comfortable…. Food very average and no Arabic food!! You actually only cruise for 1 night as 1 night docked in Aswan.. 1 night cruise then 2 in Luxor The hit air balloon company was awesome and did a wonderful job Our guide was Ahmed and he was great One suggestion I would like is that we get a detailed itinerary of what we are doing each day as sometimes we were not sure until the last minute… Bassant the tour organiser contacted me every day to make sure everything was running smoothly…Ahmed our cruise guide was awesome The drivers that picked us up and always on time Just remember you have to tip cash for everything and everybody and it does get tiresome but you get used to it Keep taking money out and break up into small amounts. Exactly what we were looking for

The entire tour was very well organized and our guide Mohammed Wafa was very knowledgeable. We were able to experience everything we wanted. We were contacted by Heba as soon as we booked the tour and she took care of all the details ensuring to answer any questions I had regarding the trip. She also checked in to make sure things were going well. Our guide Mohamed Wafa was excellent! He really took care of us and explained everything in great detail. This Nile cruise tour like every other Nile cruise tour does require you to be up and out around 4-5am but the sights you see and experience makes it all worth it!
