Wonderful, relaxing day trip for Stirling and Loch Lomond
It is a relaxing, flexible itinerary with a personable and knowledgeable local guide. Deborah provided entertaining descriptions of the history and sights of interest. She consulted passengers on timing preferences at stops. The mini-bus was clean and comfortable.

This trip was truly a...
This trip was truly a small group experience with 8 in attendance. Our tour guide Roddy was e trembly knowledgeable and pointed out many hidden gems particularly at Roslyn’s Chapel. The chapel is an amazing lifetime accomplishment of many artisan stone masons that carved intricate stories into their work. Without the aid of our guide and the docent who gave a presentation, we would have missed so much. That said, the work is so intricate I am sure there is still much to learn. Hadrian’s Wall was full of history of the Roman Empire. Easily able to hike sections of the wall and see the placement of a fort. To top it all off, it was lambing season and dozens of week old lambs played energetically around the area. Very cute. We also toured the Melrose Abbey and the quaint town of Melrose and stopped for pictures at Jedburgh Abbey since they had closed early. Roddy stopped at a historic railroad bridge to give us an extra stop and got great pictures of this historic bridge. Great day

Our guide, Jada, was the highlight of our tour!
While some may find a 12.5 hour trip intimidating, this tour was made enjoyable by our tour guide. We’ve been on tours where the information felt forced and scripted, but Jada’s overview of the history of the sights was light and conversational. She gave us just enough time throughout each stop to take in the views, get our photos, and continue on the journey. It was the perfect way to see the Highlands while visiting Edinburgh, and we definitely look forward to returning to Scotland again soon!
