This is lovely scenic drive that starts from the city Roseau and into the Roseau valley area. We will be passing along the outskirts of the rain forest where it rains over 300 inches in a year. Plant will be pointed out on this tour, any animals seen will be explained, history, culture and questions are welcomed. Half of this tour will be spent driving to and around this sites and all is accessible with no or little walking. We will view the twin Trafalgar waterfalls from a distance and the Sulphur springs. However, If you wish to do the trail to get closer to waterfalls, there is an additional 8usd fee to enter the national park. This is not included in the package because most people rather enjoy the view at the distance rather than doing the trail

Great time, highly recommend

This experience was allot of fun. The Whacky Rollers company did a fantastic job and made it fun for all of us. It was just the right length of time. The van ride to the river was good, allot to see. The company was quick to get us all on the river. The guides spent allot of time making sure everyone was having a good time. Ride back was just as good and we got dropped off in town next to the port. Went to "Pirates" afterwards for live music and drinks. This is my second time cruising through Dominica and Pirates is a great place to stop off after your excursion and have a few drinks.

Whales change your life

I don't say this lightly — this was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. Within the first hour on the water, we spotted a magnificent sperm whale. Nothing can truly prepare you for the moment you see one of these giants up close in their natural habitat. I was completely speechless. Dominica is one of the few places in the world where sperm whales can be seen year-round, and this tour delivered beyond anything I expected. The crew was professional, passionate, and clearly deeply knowledgeable about these incredible animals and the waters they call home. If you're visiting Dominica, stop whatever you're planning and book this tour. Fun in the Rainforest.

The tour driver was waiting right outside the cruise port gate. We left right on schedule and the guide was very friendly. The waterfalls were outstanding to see. It rained off and on which you have to expect in a rainforest. The rain made the steps up to the waterfall observation deck slippery. The activity of swimming in the gorge to get to a waterfall was really fun. They require everyone to wear life vests and they were provided. Would recommend thise tour to anyone.

Great tour and guide.

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable, we loved the snorkeling at champagne reef. The time at the botanical gardens felt a little like we were killing time waiting for lunch but it was ok. The gorge was a little scary with all the rain we had and the current was so sting we had to turn back before the falls. Personally I’d skip the hot spring, it doesn’t feel natural at all and stains clothes but to each his own. We had a great day. Be prepared to be wet all day—I’d suggest bringing more than one towel.

I brought my teenage son and daughter on this excursion and it was the highlight of their whole week of our cruise. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, our safety was their first priority. Equipment was good. You need to be physically fit as it was exhausting at times. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Dominica is breathtaking.

We had a wonderful tour on our first day in Granada with our guide Lorena, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and offered excellent lists on local attractions (including landmarks that are free). Timing was great, too. First of all, sunset time is the best time for photograph the hills and Alhambra. Secondly, tgis tour also helped us to orient ourselves geographically, which facilitated our subsequent tours of this historic city. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful!! The rain forest, the waterfalls, the spa, all the sites along the way, the botanical garden, amazing!! Chris and Dave were INCREDIBLE! They were very organized and extremely informative. When you you take this tour, listen to Dave and Chris, do what they say, and be on time!! They will keep you ahead of the other tours so you get to the sites before they get really busy. They know what's up!

Unforgettable Adventure!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The crew from the Sanae boat so obviously cared about marine life. Luckily, we were able to see sperm whales the day we went. Even if you don’t, you will enjoy the ride and the beauty of where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic. This was our family of 4 favorite experience of our lovely Dominica visit.

Great mix of sights of northern Dominica

We had a lovely day exploring the north part of the island. Learned about the history of the island with a nice tour of fort Shirley. Kenny our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and make the experience enjoyable. Highlight included a boat ride down the Indian River with our guide Rosco who made the trip fun!!
