You will make 2 dives from a beautiful beach on the stunning south coast of Crete, and will expand your knowledge about the marine environment. This activity is perfect for any certified diver who cares about our environment and wishes to be a positive force for change. If you are not yet a certified diver, you can join our activity on Viator called Plakias: Try Scuba Diving first time, and have a chat with our marine biologists to see how you can participate in our marine biology research and education.

Our first stop, the hidden cove of Menies, is located at the northeastern tip of the Rodopou peninsula and was the port of the ancient site of Diktynna, that was the most important temple of the goddess Vritomartis, which is believed to be goddess Artemis.
