Wonderful guide and...

Wonderful guide and driver, Giorgos! I booked the tour literally the same morning at around 9 a.m., and by 12 p.m. he was already there to pick us up! He even messaged me beforehand and offered an earlier start time, which worked out perfectly and gave us more time to enjoy the day. In addition to the tour itself, he took us to the natural pool near Elafonissi Beach and then to Agia Sofia Cave, which was such a nice extra. There were two paddle boards included in the price, which was awesome for swimming and exploring the beach, plus snorkeling gear, snacks, iced water, soft drinks, and even a beach game. He also brought grapes from his own garden, which was such a lovely personal touch! Giorgos was very kind and made some great pictures of me and my family. He also gave us lots of helpful recommendations for dinner and other activities in Crete. Honestly, I’m confident this is one of the best tours you can take to Elafonissi. Everything was so well organized, and Giorgos really went above and beyond to make the day special. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, Relaxing & Accessible - Absolutely Worth It

Absolutely lovely tour guide. This was the perfect blend of scenery, history about Greece and Crete, and a relaxing few hours on the best beach we went to!!! If you are looking for a mild activity (we traveled with a grandma with some minor mobility issues) this is the tour for you!!! Couple minutes of rocky walking to the most picturesque view. The rest was total bliss and relaxation!! Can’t forget to mention the AMAZING and delicious lunch we had as well 10/10- highly recommend

Enjoyable day to the beach and glad we had a driver for the hilly mountain driving.

We spent 3 hours at Elafonissi beach and left when crowds were really getting bad. The water is beautiful but the pink sand was gone this late in summer. The water is very shallow for a long way so to do any significant swimming you must go out fairly far. We then went to a unique place for an amazing and very filling lunch. I will not spoil the surprise. Yiannis our guide was a delight. He had a lot of interesting information for us. 🐝🍯

Fun and educational tour experience while in Crete

Wonderful experience seeing some unique places in Crete and tasting some delicious wines and olive oils. The tasting experience was highly educational and everything was delicious. Lunch at Milia is also definitely a highlight. Dimitris our guide and driver was really nice and fun to hang out with. Great way to spend a day while in Crete!

Great trip all around!

Christina and Kostas are the best for this tour! The drive is a little rough with the winding road to get to Elafonissi but Kostas is a very good driver and Christina was well prepared with anyone that might have motion sickness during the drive. The first beach is beautiful and is a great spot to be early in the day before all the busses start to drop off other travelers with just enough time there to enjoy the beach and leave before the crowds really show up. Lunch provided was just what you need to make it through the day. Christina was nice enough to walk our small group down to make sure everyone knew when and how long it takes to get back from the drop off point. Fallasarna was a much better beach experience, water is deeper, you can swim freely, the water actually feels like you’re in the ocean with waves and a walk up beach bar that has drinks and food. The last part visiting the ancient olive tree in vouves was the perfect way to end the trip, I had previously visited the tree but Christina is very well versed in the history and importance of the tree that filled a lot of gaps that my other guide missed and had a lot more information about the whole culture of olive trees in Crete that was very pleasant way to end the day before the short drive back to Chania. Wonderful day! Great trip I’d recommend to everyone to do this if you’re just getting into Crete!

Fantastic Crew

The crew we had was Raisa, John, and Elias, who were all absolutely fantastic. They were all excellent hosts and excellent at their job. We got really really unlucky with the group that was with us - about 8 young kids a their parents; the parents all left the kids alone at times, called the kids names (seriously), invaded personal space, left drinks all over the boat, etc. The crew repeatedly checked on us with regards to the other guests , so we really appreciated that. Overall, good experience, just be aware that other guests may affect the type of experience you have.

Get to Know Crete With George!!

We went on this private tour as a family and enjoyed every minute. George was very polite and answered our endless questions about his culture, family life, and the island he grew up on. He was flexible with our schedule and accommodating when we asked for slight changes to the program and timing. We would recommend this experience, and it left us wanting to return to Crete to experience more of this beautiful island!

Highly recommended tour to Elafonisi Beach from Chania

I was picked up on time. Our driver and guide were great, I think their names were Marcos and Elena. We first stopped at a shop near Kissamos where they sell local products like honey and olive oil. In the morning and almost the entire bus ride it was raining but by the time we got to Elafonisi it was beautiful summer weather and I had a lot of fun swimming in the sea on October 21st. After that we went to a beautiful restaurant in Elos village, where they had reasonable prices and good food and then we were dropped off at our pickup location. I'd say the time we spent at each stop was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Top experience for us!

This was a top experience of all time for us. Stelios made it great - showed us how to paddle (our first time), took great care and concern for our safety and took pictures of everything. It was a gorgeous day and the water was perfect. It was a nice mix of activities - seeing the cave, doing the mud and cliff jumping (I bravely did!). We hope to bring our kids back to this beautiful island, its people and even do this experience. So worth it!
