Best Chania tour!
Our tour guide was Angie. She was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgable about Greek history, culture geography, and pretty much anything that we ever asked. She took us to cool out-of-the-way places and it was the best trip we had ever had. Just a lovely private tour with her! Use Angie and you will never be disappointed.

Go to enjoy the beach, not to get insta shots of “pink” sand
Simone was a wonderful and engaging guide. The only complaint I have is how many stops are made to pick up additional people outside of Chania. Some of the stops are barely a couple blocks apart. I enjoyed the breaks before and after the beach - the taverna in Elos has huge food portions. The beach: the beach is lovely! And it’s perfect for beachy activities: relaxing, snoozing, sipping a drink, going in the water. It is NOT as pink as the totally touched up photos online would have you believe, and that is fine. If the only reason you’re going is to get insta-photos of a pepto-pink beach, you’re going to be disappointed. The water was quite chilly in early May. Beach chairs/umbrellas are 20€

A great day in Crete with lots of fabulous food!!
Nasos with Chania Adventures adapted the tour to pick us up at the cruise terminal. Nikolas as our private guide was wonderful. We tend to be physically a bit slower and Nikolas modified the tour to accommodate our small group. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us. The stop for coffee with a great view of the city was an unexpected treat. Lunch was much more than expected and was a fabulous meal at an old restaurant. I would highly recommend Nikolas, Nasos and this tour.

Warm, Knowledgeable, and Unforgettable Experience
Dimitris has been a driver/guide for this company since 2019 and his passion, warmth, extraordinary knowledge about the land, people, history, plant and animal life, geography and agriculture comes through every interaction. You know you have a wonderful person when the resident dog(s) of every restaurant, historical site, business, and village come to greet Dimitris when we arrive, all waiting for him to pet them and give them love. That is Dimitris, his passion and love for what he does and for people is evident. Truly a memorable and exceptional experience that we will never forget.

Thanos and Christine are amazing!!
We had an amazing day with Christine and Thanos. Our day was filled with Greek history and culture, and the tour was thoughtfully crafted with breaks along the way.
Christine was a wonderful guide, and provided helpful context of Knossos palace, even though we didn’t book a guided tour. Her and Thanos provide welcomed knowledge of Cretan traditions, food, and culture along the way.

Tour experience
Our family had such an incredible experience on the honey and olive oil tour, combined with visits to Agia Sophia Cave and the pink sand beach, it truly ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide, Aphrodite was amazing, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing her culture. She made everyone feel comfortable and made the entire day flow seamlessly.
She also took us to a fantastic spot for authentic Greek food, which ended up being one of the best meals we had on the trip. It was such a thoughtful touch and really completed the experience. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Crete especially if you're traveling with family and want something meaningful, beautiful, and well-organized.

Fabulous way to experience Crete
Fabulous tour to see a part of Crete that is off the beaten path. Stopped to look at olive processing, off the regular road and up to a shepherds hut, scenic views, fresh oranges and more. Olga is a wonderful guide with a great sense of humor, knowledgeable and a safe driver. Lunch at the local restaurant was a real treat.

Great Trip with Beautiful Views
We had a wonderful experience on this hike. Although it’s officially rated as “easy,” it didn’t feel that way for everyone in our group. Our guide, Nikos, explained that the difficulty rating comes from the official mountain authorities, not the travel agencies.
Personally, I found it easy, but some people did struggle a bit. The trail is downhill all the way, so if you have knee problems, it might not be as easy as advertised. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, but you do need to keep your eyes on the path while walking, so make sure to stop now and then to enjoy the views.
Regular trainers were fine for me, but walking boots might be a better choice for extra support. Our guide, Nikos, was fantastic - informative, funny and very attentive. After the hike, we even went for a refreshing swim while Nikos kindly went back to help struggling hikers.
Overall, it was a great experience. Everything was well organised, clearly explained and we felt very well looked after. Highly recommend!

Recommend!
This was a great tour! Ample time (4 hours) at the beach and we arrived early enough before the afternoon rush and got to claim sunbeds and umbrellas. Really enjoyed detours at Elos, where we ate delicious local food, and Agia Sophia where we saw impressive stalactites and the gorges from high up. Great introduction to western Crete through this!

Stunning Views. Great food wine and olive oil. Awesome Tour
If you only see the coastal part of Crete, you’re missing the hidden beauty of the island. This trip was through the gorgeous mountains of Crete. Our driver Nicos was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and the olive and wine industry. He took great care of us. The drive was stunning. From the ancient olive tree, to the olive oil/wine tasting, to the lunch in the white mountains, this tour was awesome. We loved it. Totally recommend this tour.

Come hungry!
Great way to spend a few hours away from the regular touristy traps. Our group was small, 9 people and our driver Nikos was able to personally interact with everyone! We came in on a cruise ship, and although the port was not on the selected pickup spots, with a simple email we were able to get picked up in front of a grocery store directly across the street from the port exit. At each stop Nikos pointed out different plants and herbs in the wild that would be used in some of the food we ate along the way. Taking us for coffee, stopping at a family run cheese shop and bakery, and a local lunch all in more remote spots not as easily accessible without a personal driver made for quite a unique experience versus the standard cruise ship excursion.
