We took the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain & Penguins Tour in Cape Town, South Africa on May 11, and what started as a very stressful morning turned into one of the most memorable days of our trip. The weather was terrible. A major storm had started the day before, and I was extremely worried because we had booked this tour months in advance. I contacted the activity provider several times asking about cancellation because of the rain and high winds. They explained that the parks were still open, even though Table Mountain had closed because of the storm. I was frustrated and upset and even called Viator very angrily that morning. Thankfully, our driver and guide, Mo, completely changed the experience for us. Mo was absolutely outstanding. He was calm, kind, encouraging, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Since Table Mountain was closed, he even offered alternatives like a museum or winery visit. Despite the cold weather and heavy rain, he made sure we still had a wonderful day. My best friend encouraged us to stop worrying and just enjoy the experience — and I am SO glad we did. Seeing the penguins and visiting the Cape of Good Hope in dramatic stormy weather actually became unforgettable. There were four of us — my best friend, our husbands, and me — and we travel the world together. This tour ended up being one of our favorite memories from Cape Town. If you visit Cape Town, take this tour — and absolutely request Mo as your driver and guide. He made all the difference. Thank you, Viator, for another great travel experience!

The street art tour was a really good experience to see another side of Cape Town. The suburb Woodstock is very special and you really recognize the power of art here. But I would recommend always to take a local tour guide to see and take pictures of all the beautiful mural because you get context for them and it is not a good idea to make a walk through on you own because of the circumstances there. I hat a really kind female guide which was a pleasure to talk and discuss about art. Forgot the name, but if you this review: Thank you very much for the artful quality time.

We were very fortunate to have Justin as our host on this 4 hour history and food tour. This tour is great for a first time visitor to Cape Town and, honestly, a great tour for locals. Justin is not only passionate about food, but has an excellent way of weaving Cape Town history into the various bars and restaurants we visited. Justin is smart, friendly, engaging, and familiar with “Bush Culture” which is interesting on its own. Surprisingly, he is familiar with multiple indigenous languages, speaking names and places with authentic, nuanced “click” pronunciation. Our tour began in the Bo Kaap neighborhood where we tasted local beer and some African must-try foods. We learned about how they came here and have morphed over time. The multiple locations each had history and great food. This was a fantastic tour to taste and learn about Cape Town food and history. It was a good value and I highly recommend it.

Communicated with us throughout on the day we landed in CPT until pick up time. Very friendly and shared alot of info about CPT during our drive to our accomodation - also offered to take us wherever we wanted during our stay. highly recommend his services.

Amazing tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide ! It is a must when visiting Cape town, so much history happened here that it is impossible to get all the information about the city and country unless you do this type of guided tour. 2 hours walk in different areas, you get to see a lot and ask questions and take pictures along the way. Definitely recommend !

Collen our tour guide was amazing,he reached out before the pickup which certainly provided some reassurance-he was on time in a clean car !! Collen wanted to get to know us and told us all about his family ,he is very proud of his determination to do the best -this guy will go far and deserves to do so We had a great day touring the cape peninsula,nothing was too much trouble and he was fully of interesting facts -we learnt so much Please ask for Collen ,you will not be disappointed

Clint was an excellent first impression of Cape Town. He greeted me with a smile and warmness that was welcoming. I enjoyed our conversation from the airport to the hotel. He gave me tips on places to eat as well as keeping safe while navigating the city. I’d recommend Clint specifically and hope to see him again on my travels to the Mother City.

This cruise was the absolute best!!!! We were running late because we couldn’t find where we were supposed to go but luckily we found it and the captain allowed us on. And thank God he did! The views were absolutely breathtaking! The crew was fun and the kept the bubbly flowing!! Bring a jacket!!
