Grazie was a wonderful...
Grazie was a wonderful host and teacher. She prepares the sauce so it can slow simmer while we make the pasta. She explains the different pastas and then guides us in making two varieties from scratch. What fun! We then sat down to enjoy our fresh pasta with her delicious sauce and, of course, some wine! Deliciouso!!!

Yum!
This was truly an incredible tour. Our guide, Matteo, was the best. Not only did we experience many delicious tastings, his explanations of the history and contemporary life in Bologna were so interesting. He even shared and explained in great detail some of his favorite recipes. My wife and I both felt that this was one of the best tours we've ever done. Grazie Mille, Matteo!

Memorable Modena
This tour was, without question, one of the highlights of my trip to Italy. From the moment our guide greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm for not only Modena but everything Emilia-Romagna has to offer, I knew we were in for something special. We visited a Parmigiano-Reggiano factory where we were able to watch master cheesemaker go through every step of the centuries-old production process — it’s one thing to eat great cheese, but watching it being made with such care and craftsmanship gave it a whole new dimension. We sampled different ages and were able to shops and bring a little piece of goodness home. The Balsamic vinegar factory was equally jaw-dropping. The aroma alone when you walk through the door is worth the trip. The family owned business was warm and welcoming. We even got to taste balsamic vinegar with ice cream. Then came the winery. This was nestled in rolling countryside that looked almost too beautiful to be real. We learned about Lambrusco and experienced a private tour of the winery. And of course the wine tasting is where we really began to learn. Our guides knowledge was extensive, but never making it overwhelming. She explained every fact making into a story. She was deeply proud of her region’s culinary heritage. This was truly a memorable day.
