What are people saying about Bogotá

Excellent experience
Andrés, our guide was amazing. He gave us great history about everything from the food to the locations. He was well prepared and had all the extra supplies we needed. All the stops were ready for us and the variety was excellent. Would recommend to anyone if they come to Bogota. Come hungry because I was stuffed afterwards.

This was listed as an...
This was listed as an English tour but of the 5 people present I was the only English speaker, so the tour guide Juan did the tour in Spanish and English.
It's a good tour. For the mine inself its an individual tour. You can get an audio device to translate.
Afterward, we all went to the same place for lunch. The price was reasonable and the food is typical Colombian fare.
The mine can be cooler than outside temperature.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VIP Treatment From Start to Finish! Memorable Experience
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Absolute Blast!**
I had an awesome time on this pub crawl and would definitely do it again! The absolute highlight was the effortless VIP entry—we didn't have to stand in line at all and could enter each place easily. Plus, we stayed with the wristband so we could return, which I loved.
When we entered, we even had a table waiting for us where we could nicely put our bags and jackets for the cold and all stay together. Our guide, Nelly, (hope i got the name right! ) was amazing, so much fun, and very attentive to us. A huge bonus was that she spoke both English and Spanish, which allowed our mixed group to interact and connect seamlessly. She had us play a fun trivia game that helped everyone on the tour get to know each other and socialize. The venues she chose for us were awesome. It was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything—I highly recommend it! I'll definitely repeat this experience.

Real life adventure in Bogota
The bike tour was an adventure through the busy city streets and beyond. The fruit market part was the highlight of the tour. We tasted many exotic fruits that we had never seen before. We also had many stops in the places that had stories or historical importance. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone who has good skills with bikes.

A quick glimpse of Bogota
A good way to learn more about a city especially if you're on limited time is to do a tour. I could have picked any other, but I chose one that's not quite the usual. Gerardo was the perfect guide to tell you stories of how he (an immigrant himself) sees Bogota through the eyes of artists. It was a great way to see Bogota & scheme of ways to come back again one day!

So great to have stress-free post-flight transportation!!
We loved our experience; Pedro our driver was communicative and on time, found us right away at the gate, and we had a comfortable, worry-free ride to our location in La Candelaria! I highly recommend this service to avoid post-flight transportation stress or overwhelm in a new city! Thank you so much!

An exceptional experience; highly recommended.
The experience was exceptional. Our guide, Andres, provided comprehensive insights throughout the tour and assisted with capturing numerous photographs. I wholeheartedly endorse tours led by Andres; his professionalism and punctuality for pickup were exemplary. The sole minor inconvenience encountered was at the end of my tour, which involved a 20-minute delay while awaiting the driver for the return to my hotel. I attribute this to an isolated incident, likely due to traffic conditions. Overall, the experience was outstanding and comes with my highest recommendation.

Get a quick jump on your vacation, Immerse yourself in Bogotá during your layover
Bogotá, Colombia, is a rich, fascinating, and great city. There is much to see in a compact area! We started with a tram ride to the top of Monserrate (over 10,000 feet) and finished with museum tours in the center of the old town. My guide, GIGIO, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show many cultural sites and connect them with Colombia's history, both past and present. The entire experience left me with the desire to revisit Bogota and vacation in South America. Well worth the cost, and it was stress-free. Well done Viator and GIGIO

Wonderful trip
The salt Cathedral is a good place to visit. It's a group bus tour starting from Bogota. The driver and the guide was polite. The guide was able to communicate well in English. Had a good time in the Cathedral, Zipaquira city centre and had good Columbian food in the restaurant(own expense). Also tasted Columbian coffee(included in the tour). Booked this tour only a day before my trip but the response was good.

Day tour in Bogata
★★★★★
Had an excellent experience on the Historic Candelaria tour in Bogotá. Juan was an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. He made the tour feel personal and interactive instead of just a scripted walk.
The mix of history, architecture, street art, and local insights gave a real feel for Bogotá and La Candelaria. Juan also answered questions thoroughly and kept the group entertained the entire time.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bogotá and wanting a deeper understanding of the city. Definitely a 5-star experience.

Great Tour & Entertaining Informed Guide
It was fabulous! Our guide spoke English well & knew the neighborhoods! I came away knowing how to find my way thru Candelaria & adjacent neighborhoods. She shared info about the culture as we strolled thru all of it. Myra is an excellent guide well versed in the culture of Bogota.

The hike to La Chorrera...
The hike to La Chorrera was such a great experience. The views along the way are absolutely beautiful, and while some parts of the trail are a bit challenging, it’s completely manageable and 100% worth it in the end. Reaching the waterfall is really special, it’s stunning and makes the whole hike feel even more rewarding.
The food before and afterwards was also really nice, which was a perfect addition to the hike.
A special mention to our guide, Andrea, who was amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the hike. She kept a good pace for the group and was always checking in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hike!
