What are people saying about Bogotá

Bogotá is filled with...
Bogotá is filled with incredible street art, and as a visitor, it can be hard to fully understand what you’re seeing. Our guide, Juana, was amazing - her deep knowledge of the art across different parts of the city really brought everything to life. On top of that, her personality made the entire experience so enjoyable. This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on, and I would recommend it without hesitation!

Amazing experience
Jorge was an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable of the areas history and the 6 diverse natural regions of Colombia. The hike is definitely an intermediate level (various steep trails throughout); however, we had anticipated this based on the description and other reviews. I also recommend adding in the lunch (our option) which is locally sourced and delicious! The time was as described, we left our hotel at 8am and returned at 3pm. We went during the week and during the rainy season, so there were no crowds for us. Highly recommend this trip if you enjoy viewing the Colombian countryside, waterfalls, hiking, and learning more about the area!

Perfect Colombian food experience
We are so glad we booked this experience! Our guide Sara was amazing. She took us to some great traditional places we never would have found by ourselves. We tried such a variety of traditional foods and drinks and Sara was great at explaining the background as we went along. Would highly recommend!

David was an excellent...
David was an excellent guide and the whole trip went smoothly. Very interesting and worth it, but the tour company’s van had zero shock absorbers and since Bogota roads have serious ruts and pot holes, the drive was extremely uncomfortable. I would not choose this tour provider except they acquire some new-ish vehicles.

Sunday in Bogotá
We had booked a tour guide long before our arrival and Jhovanny, of Muisca heritage, showed up right on time Sunday morning at 1100 for our day tour of the city. Cathy, Susan and I joined Javier, the driver, and him for our trip to the cable car up Montserrat and luckily, at his recommendation, had purchased a “fast pass” so that we could cut to the front of the line, I don’t know how much extra it cost but was well worth it with all of the families looking forward to the views and having Mass at the cathedral. The view was spectacular, to say the least. After the funicular ride down the mountain we walked through La Candaleria to the Plaza Bolivar with stops in two museums. Prior to being dropped off back at our hotel, we booked Jhovanny for a tour of the salt mines outside of the city tomorrow. He did an outstanding job as a guide, friendly, very knowledgable, excellent English skills, just plan fun to be with and that is the reason that we wanted him for another adventure is this beautiful country.

Great experience
The coordination was spot on and everything occurred as coordinated. Great communication. Condition of car was good. Driver friendly and got us to out hotel as quickly as possible considering all the traffic he had to contend with. Great experience and highly recommend.

Bogota Food Education
This tour was awesome. I didn't have any idea of what the food would be like, but was surprised in the best. Most of the food was unique and tasty and presented beautifully. The venues were treats. The tour guide knowledgeable, personable, and fun. Great tour!

Great trip. Got to see...
Great trip. Got to see lots in Bogota. Cycling the streets of Bogota was a bit hairy, but I think made worse by the crowds and stalls out for Christmas markets. Cycling was easy, I was slightly concerned there would be lots of hills but actually really flat.
Fruit tasting in the market was incredible.
Would highly recommend.

Great long tour out of the city
We did the private tour and Gustavo navigated the roads like a trooper while Jorge gave us a very informative and insightful tour all the way out to the town and the lake. It is quite a drive out and around; and traffic is hectic leaving and coming back to Bogota so this tour really requires a full day. We felt safe and well taken care of with these guys. The towns, the Lake Guatavita, the Salt Cathedral and all the panoramic views were so worth it. We arrived back all exhausted after 10 hours but very happy with this experience.

Great way to ease into Bogota
This was a great introduction for someone who has never been to Bogota. Learned some things and got to see some historical things. It was a nice little walking tour. The guide was very good and I’m so sorry. I forgot his name. It was a 2 PM tour on November 22 but he was ex.

Fantastic 4-hour Tour with an Exceptional Guide
I had a truly wonderful experience exploring Bogotá with Raul. Despite a very tight schedule between my morning arrival and evening departure, Raul made sure the tour was both efficient and unhurried. Thanks to his careful pacing and thoughtful planning, we managed to cover a lot in a short amount of time — from breathtaking views atop Monserrate to a walk through the historic center, all while enjoying insightful conversation and an authentic local breakfast.
What stood out most was Raul’s depth of knowledge — not just about the city’s history and landmarks, but also its culture, architecture, and natural surroundings. He clearly loves Bogotá and shares that enthusiasm in a way that feels personal and engaging, not scripted. Our conversations flowed naturally, and I appreciated his ability to tailor the experience to the moment rather than sticking rigidly to a preset plan.
I left the tour with a much deeper appreciation for the city and a strong desire to return and explore more. This was 100% worth it — highly recommended for anyone looking for an insightful and well-paced introduction to Bogotá.
