Berlin shaped by music, art and activism
Great tour that blended Berlin art, music, history and contemporary politics. Our guide Rys was excellent. A true renaissance man Rys is a rock and jazz musician, a DJ, and a tour guide. He brought a great sense of humor and a unique perspective to our group. He also gave some awesome recommendations for local clubs, bars and music venues. I strongly recommend this tour.
What a like most is you get a good breakdown of some of the city's more eclectic neighborhoods.
You will also learn about the various contributions of Berlin’s artists musicians and ethnic groups that contribute to the city's vibrant culture.

Great afternoon with Lee
A unique tour that showed a whole side of Berlin that tourists don't get to see.
Tour guide Lee was very engaging and clearly enjoys his job.
Great info on street art and alternative arts and culture.
Lee was proud of his local neighbourhood in Kreusberg and showed us some really cool little corners ending up in a very bohemian district.
Trip has tram and train travel which requires extra tickets but this gives the tour a wider scope and embraces both former East and West Berlin which are interesting to compare.
Highly recommended

Lee was out tour guide and did a wonderful job taking us to unexpected places for a variety of tastings. We had tons of questions on the history and vibe of the city that were answered knowledgeably. Come hungry!

Counterculture at its Best
Betty was a fantastic guide. Her genuine enthusiasm and excitement were infectious. Great escape from tourism to see the lesser known (to the general public) counterculture spots around Berlin.

Excellent tour with an awesome guide
My 12 year old son and I wanted to explore this bohemian part of Berlin…and wanted to learn the history of the neighborhood. Very interesting section of the city with many highlights. Our guide, Klaus, was friendly, knowledgeable, fun and knew where to get awesome spaetzle! Great tour.

When to visit

Kreuzberg is a must-visit for urban art lovers and foodies.
The streets of Berlin are mostly cobblestoned so wear comfortable shoes to walk on the uneven surfaces.
Kreuzberg is home to many parks, which are ideal for taking breaks between attractions.
The Bergmannkiez and Görlitzer areas of Kreuzberg are best for a bite to eat and a night out on the town.
