Informative and accommodating!
Fabulous experience. A true deep dive into D-Day, as part of a modest and manageably sized group of 7. Julian our guide was entertaining and interesting. He also helped coordinate “family member” treatment for us at the American Cemetery, where my great uncle is buried.
Comfortable travel in a clean, Mercedes minibus. And a pleasant stop for lunch near Omaha Beach as well.

Exceptional
When the subject is D-Day you can read books and watch movies but the experience of being where such bravery and sacrifice occurred is overwhelming. Regis, our knowledgeable guide, was a wealth of information and details well beyond the battle. A visit to Normandy and Omaha Beach confirms beyond argument that freedom is not free.

Expert Guide Who Brought History to LifE
This tour was excellent from start to finish. The pick-up was easy and everything was very well organised. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. Visiting Omaha Beach and the cemetery was very moving, and the stories and context our guide shared really brought the history to life. A powerful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Normandy.

Fabulous tour.. Oliver, driver, historian, flexible, etc
When I mentioned that my father had been wounded at Pun de Huc, Oliver went to that beach for a minute so I could see where he was wounded. Museum is ‘one of a kind’

Most Omaha Beach tours visit WWII cemeteries and memorials, so it’s important to dress and act respectfully.
Wear comfortable walking shoes to explore the battle ruins and beaches.

You don’t need Omaha Beach tickets as the beach is public; however, tickets are required to visit the museum.
