What are people saying about Antigua

This was a must do...
This was a must do experience in Antigua! I have never driven an ATV and it was very easy and so fun. Our guide was awesome and was very informative. Stopped at Cerro de la Cruz and then drove through Antigua to Jocotenango to visit Finca La Azotea. Had a great tour learning about how coffee beans are grown, processed, and roasted. Then, we got to try their three different roasts. Additionally, we went to their chocolate factory and got a lesson on how cacao beans are processed to make chocolate. Our guide was great and took pictures and videos of us! 10/10 experience and would totally do it again the next time I visit!

Must Do!!
The tours are great and the hosts or tour guides are full of information, all very professional, extremely friendly and fun to talk with. The locations are absolutely amazing and beautiful and you have time to explore each on you stop at! These adventures are a must for sure!! Wear tennis shoes or boots. And don’t lie about saying you know how to drive or ride an ATV if you don’t be honest. we witnessed two young ladies on two different adventures say they could drive an ATV and both proved to be false. Second do not try and use your phone while driving, the cobble stone roads are difficult to navigate as it is and you do not need that distraction to cause you to veer off the road or to speed up and slow down on the person behind or in front of you. highly recommend to enjoy the trips!

Most Memorable Hiking Experience!
This was an extraordinary memorable experience, the guides Carlos and Eric were phenomenal throughout, paying attention to the needs to the group and setting an ideal pace. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in doing this hike, the base camp was the perfect size for number of people in our group and we all bonded from the experience.

The guides who led us on...
The guides who led us on the hike were amazing. They made the experience safe, fun and energetic. The tour company has optional things to rent when you start the hike that you can purchase before (backpacks, hiking sticks, etc). They give you a lunch that you will have to have room in your bag to bring up yourself. My girlfriend said this was the most difficult physical thing she's ever done, but she made it through. I also found it challenging. If you think you may need it, be sure to bring altitude medication. I got sick at the top and started throwing up and had a lingering upset stomach for a few days. there are a few shops along the way where you can buy drinks and snacks at reasonable prices.

Antigua, Guatemala, tours run the gamut. To get your adrenaline pumping, opt for an overnight sunrise summit hike of the Acatenango Volcano to safely view the adjacent—and still highly active—Volcán de Fuego. Not an early riser? Buckle your helmet strap and explore the countryside and its mountain villages via ATV sunset tour. For something more laid-back, take a day tour of Lake Atitlán, join a cooking class and market tour, or learn about the locally-produced chocolate and coffee. Whether adventure-driven or culture-centric, each Antigua tour will give you something to talk about.
