Full on day - 8.20-5.40 for us ksamil based. Wear the right shoes if you want to do the more challenging hike around the blue eye. Very steep at times but amazingly beautiful! Lekursi castle at the end is stunning - unexpected gem! Lovely guide, well air conditioned minibus so we were comfy all day when driving. gjirokaster is great - highly recommend Kujtimi restaurant to sample the local food as gorgeous terrace with flowers and leaves surrounding and off the main strip but has lots of locals and relaxed ambiance. All in all we saw the key gems and had a great day.

Marjan was truly one of the best guides I have ever had on any of my travels around the world. He is definitely in my personal top three guides of all time. From the moment the day started, he created a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Even during the drive, he made an effort to connect people, encourage conversations, and help everyone feel comfortable. Thanks to him, the group quickly felt relaxed and engaged. During the hikes, Marjan was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. He constantly checked that everyone was doing well and made sure nobody felt left behind. He has a remarkable ability to read the group, listen carefully, and adapt to people's needs while keeping the experience enjoyable for everyone. The two hikes were fantastic, but what made the day truly special was Marjan's enthusiasm, kindness, and natural talent for guiding people. I met wonderful people during this trip, and Marjan played a huge role in creating that experience. I don't often write reviews like this, but Marjan genuinely deserves the recognition. He is an outstanding guide and one of the best I have encountered anywhere in the world. If I ever return to Shkodër, I know exactly who I will look for. I can wholeheartedly recommend Marjan to anyone looking for an exceptional guide, unforgettable hikes, and a truly memorable experience.

We had a wonderful day with Ilir, who drove us around while sharing the history of the country and his personal experiences. What made the tour truly special was how kind, patient, and caring he was throughout the day. He really put effort into making everyone feel comfortable and looked after, and every question was answered with warmth and enthusiasm. The vans were also spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!
