While there’s no guarantee you’ll see the aurora, this is a fantastic way to try!! We were very lucky and had a terrific aurora the night we went, but regardless, the host managed all the details perfectly! The transportation was on time and comfortable, the glass house was amazing in a great location and very comfortable. It was warm and cozy with nice snacks and hot drinks, comfy chairs, a clean rest room, and the possibility of terrific views through the floor to ceiling windows. The hosts were friendly and helpful, alerting us when the aurora was appearing so we wouldn’t miss it. One of the hosts very expertly took our pictures outside with the aurora behind us and conveniently sent them to us afterwards. We highly recommend this experience! It was definitely worth it!

Jessica was fantastic!!! Great tour! I learned a lot and she is very smart! Learned a lot about Alaska and the land and the aurora’s. Super safe and comfortable!! I was nervous before trip about no service and transportation. It felt like a new adventure and road trip and reassuring to know we had a great guide! Def a tour worth taking!!

What a completely amazing experience. Tabitha is a wonderful person and the view of the Northern Lights was unbeatable. We had a tour scheduled for a Saturday night and on Friday, she gave us a call that the lights were expected to put on a better showing on Friday night. Because of her forethought, we were able to see what was likely the best viewing of the year.

This was an incredible excursion and an absolute MUST if you're visiting Fairbanks! We had dinner at the on‑site restaurant; the standout dish by far was the Clam Chowder (so delicious!)—the rest of the menu was just okay. But the Hot Springs? Absolutely AMAZING. Some of our best photos from the entire trip came from capturing the auroras at Chena Hot Springs and even on the drive back to the lodge. It was such a magical experience. If you’re in Fairbanks, do not skip this. 10/10 recommend!

If you are to see the northern lights, go with Dana. She is like a dog with a bone. She just won’t quit. She explains the lights. She studies the lights. She photographs the lights. She loves the lights and she wants to share them with all of us. It is a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Just try to nap before!!

We had a wonderful experience on the Anchorage Aurora Tour and Northern Lights Photo Tour. Everything was well organized, and the experience felt very special from start to finish. Our guide, Erica, was amazing. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and very supportive throughout the tour. It was very cold (-18 F), but she still took great care of us the whole time. We especially appreciated the calendars and the hot chocolate, which made the experience even more thoughtful and comforting. She helped make everyone feel comfortable and did a great job guiding us during the photo experience. Her encouragement and professionalism really made the night even better. The scenery was beautiful, and the whole tour was memorable. We really appreciated all the effort that went into helping us enjoy the northern lights and capture great photos. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Erica as your guide.

Pretty fun experience, my first time ice fishing and my wife’s first time ever fishing. Got a couple bites but they fell off my hook, my wife caught her first fish! Which was super exciting and fun to see her experience! Aurora was out a little which was nice before the trip back home. The fresh fish and reindeer sausage was yummy too! Never had that fresh of fish before!

Do it! It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our tour guide Ash was fantastic and we loved every minute of our trip. He was very knowledgeable and told lots of stories that made the long drive seem to go quicker. Parts of the road were very rough but that’s just part of the whole experience. The best part is we got to see the northern lights and he stopped a few times to let us take lots of pictures.
