Yosemite Waterfalls Hike - Lifetime Memories

When we booked the Yosemite Valley waterfalls hike we did so to make our lives easier. Our goal was to find a knowledgeable person to help us navigate around the crowds so we could focus our time on the really special or spectacular falls. We were not disappointed. Gabe, our host and tour guide, exceeded all our expectations for the day. He discussed our interest and desires for the day (we wanted to hike to Vernal and Nevada falls) and then customized a tour throughout the Valley allowing us to see all ten waterfalls. With his knowledge of the trails around Yosemite he routed us around the crowded trails, took us to spectacular view points that only the “locals” know about and shared with us his vast knowledge of the Valley and surrounding hikes. The hike to Vernal and Nevada falls was a little on the strenuous side but he was able to help us set a pace that allowed us to reach all our goals for the day. The mist trail was fantastic (even if we got a little wet), but seeing the Vernal and Nevada falls up close was unforgettable especially given the heavy spring flow rates. We love visiting National Parks and we have many great memories but the day spent with Gabe visiting all the waterfalls will forever remain one of our most fond memories. We have already started recommending the tour to our family and friends. It is a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime.

Gabriel was amazing! He knew all the secret spots to get the most breathtaking views of the waterfalls. My mother had always dreamed of seeing the waterfalls of Yosemite, but she had a stroke which left her unable to walk very far without assistance. Gabriel brought us to so many incredible spots that allowed my mother to take in the stunning beauty of Yosemite. I greatly appreciated his flexibility in adjusting our tour to accommodate the many changing requests of the group. He was also very sweet and patient with my kids, who took some time to warm up. And to top things off, he is a phenomenal photographer. He captured so many picture-perfect moments of our family that I definitely plan to print and hang on our walls. The highlight of our trip was having a sunset dinner and s'mores at Glacier Point; the view was breathtaking. Thank you, Gabriel, for the unforgettable and magical tour. We had so much fun, and the hikes were unforgettable. We will definitely be back for more adventures and hidden gems with you!
