Overview
Visit two of Lower Silesia's magnificent Churches of Peace, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in one day. In Swidnica, you'll see the largest wooden church in the world, and the other in Jawor is the largest timber-framed religious building in Europe. After being inspired with their history and architecture, you'll also visit 13th-century Ksiaz Castle in Walbrzych, located above the Pelcznica River. During WWII, the structure was overtaken by Nazi Germany for a German project called "Riese" (meaning "Giant.")
