Good walking tour. Lukas, our guide, was informative and personable. We took the tour to help us get our bearings and revisited a lot of the places the next day for longer.

Nothing special, our tour guide was adamant about giving people points when we just wanted to enjoy. Not very knowledgeable, hopefully you get a better guide

KeXuan_T, Jul 2025
We arrived at the meeting point at 9:55 AM, and the tour was supposed to start at 10:00 AM. However, it started 10 minutes late. The group was very big (over 30 people), and the guide didn’t use a microphone, so it was hard to hear him. He also told too many jokes, which made it a bit boring. The guide mostly talked to the people in front and didn’t explain much about the statues or buildings. He didn’t seem very knowledgeable. Overall, it was not a good experience, and we left before the tour ended. If you’re thinking of joining this tour, please consider carefully. it might not be worth your time.

Great walking tour in Wroclaw

Great experience if you’re in Wroclaw! Łukasz was very communicative and provided with interesting and comprehensive historical facts. At the end of the tour we were given an QR code with a map of recommendations for local places to eat and hang out. Walkative woth Łukasz comes highly recommended!

A Must Do in Wrocław!

Kelly_M, Jun 2025
What an excellent tour! The guide was so knowledgeable, deeply passionate, personable, and funny. He even took the time while walking between stops to answer so many questions from so many of us, and somehow he always knew the answer and made sure we received any extra information such as places to eat, how to best spend our time, and even some day trips we could consider. This was one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done. I gained such knowledge about the history and life and key landmarks of Wrocław, and I was entertained and engaged the entire time. You will even see some Medieval graffiti! Highly recommend! I’m even going to look up the company, Walkative!, since they offer tours all around Europe.

Excellent

Highly recommend the walking tour of Wroclaw. Our tour guide, Matt, gave a fantastic tour of the sites and the history of Wroclaw.

Highly recommended - Peter ROCKS!!

Niki_R, May 2025
Our tour guide Peter was fantastic - in-depth knowledge on history and society as well as a great sense of humor! I can highly recommend the tour (we even went beyond the 2.5 hours, which was a nice treat! I feel like I gained lots of new appreciation for Wroclaw and for Poland in general! Thank you so much for a fun and insightful day!!

The tour guide had a solid background in history. He was able to share his knowledge which made the tour very interesting, especially considering the history of the city during the second world of war.

Excellent! Lukasz was a terrific guide!

CHARLOTTE_C, Oct 2024
Each city in Poland has a different history. Wroclaw's is not at all like Warsaw's. Lukasz is a Wroclaw native who speaks excellent English and is eager to share the history of his city. This tour is about the old city, the new city (which is older than the old city), the development of the city in the past 900 years, and a bit of how people from various places populated the area. Old town and new town are beautiful, having been fully reconstructed after WWII. Church Island, is also a very interesting place. We also took Lukasz' Jewish and World War II tour, which was equally fascinating. Highly recommend both.

Great insights into Wrocław and its history.

Britta_W, Sep 2024
We had an amazing afternoon with Susanna, who was knowledgeable, insightful and witty. The tour was informative with lots of little anecdotes. Highly recommended.

A brilliant walking tour

Barry_P, Sep 2024
The guide, Lukasz, had excellent English and knew so much (lived in Wroclaw all his life). He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. The tour showed us so much about the city. Really good

Highly recommend

Stephen_H, Aug 2024
Michael was very knowledgeable and presented the information in a fun way. Not the usual "on your right blah blah blah" but integrating the complex history of Poland into each building. The walk isn't very long in distance, but covers a huge amount of history. Easy level walk, highly recommend.

Walkative Tours

Walkative is a great company. Their tour guides are knowledgable, informative, and engaging. After this tour, we booked three other walking tours (Wrocklaw and Poznan) with Walkative, I would give 5 stars to all these experiences, too. Learned so much about Poland!

Great tour!

Paul_O, Jun 2024

A very insightful trip with some of the most interesting history and beautiful architecture. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very interested in interacting with the group. Would recommend tipping the tour guide if you book through a third party.

Michel is the BEST tour guide.

Lori_R, May 2024
Michel was WONDERFUL!!! Funny. Good info. First tour guide I’ve had in Poland that speaks perfectly understandable English. I couldn’t understand 30% of what the Auschwitz guide said.

Great tour leader, fascinating tour
