After the included transfer from your hotel to Ayers Rock airport, meet your pilot and board your fixed wing airplane for your flight.
Follow along the Northern and Western faces of Uluru, then get an interesting perspective as Ayers Rock aligns with Mount Conner in the distance. Note the paths left by waterfalls, and watch for sightings of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), Lake Amadeus, and the township of Yulara as your pilot takes you back to Ayers Rock airport.
Feel free to ask questions as you hear informative commentary from your pilot during your 20-minute flight. Your tour ends with return transfer to your hotel after the flight.

Pilot Elliot was very patient and made our experience memorable. He gave information with humour which made it very interesting. He was also very skilled so we had a very smooth flight, and perfect landing. All in all I would recommend this experience to everyone!

Elliott was a Brilliant Pilot who from the very start of our flight made us feel confortable and safe and he went out of his way to ensure we had a magnificiant view of and arounf the Rock.
As an 85 year old person I have no hesitation in recommending this experience to ALL.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. Thomas our pilot picked up us from our campsite reception, and took us to the plane. We was so impressed by his friendly, professional knowledge about the area. Thomas explained what we was going to need to know for the flight, which I was a bit nervous due to size of plane. But he made it so easy and we felt safe. It is something I would do again as I loved the whole experience. Thank you Thomas for your calm and professionalism to your role. You made it so special. I can recommend this to all my friends, it was AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Our pilot Aden was great and it is a superb,(and reasonably priced), way to view Uluru from a different perspective. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Our only slight criticism, or suggestion, is that the tour operators should have a designated and easy to find area for their guests to check in to. A big poster would be perfect.

Tim, our pilot, picked us up on time at Sails In The Desert at 2.30pm, drove us to the airport, and gave us an awesome 20 minute scenic ride around Uluru and the surrounding areas. Tim's commentary was informative, fun, and he is bloody good at his job! It was a smooth flight, and after walking 12km on the Base Walk only hours before, it was great seeing where we had just been from above. Tim dropped us back to our accommodation after the flight, and he's a great ambassador for the company. Highly recommended. Just do it! 10/10.

Really glad we booked this experience. Our pilot picked us up from our resort and took us to the airport. He put us at ease by explaining everything and seemed very professional. The views of Uluru from the air were just spectacular, a perfect round off to our trip to the outback. (Word of warning, it was quite bumpy due to the thermals, but perfectly safe)

Seeing the Rock from the air and being able to get so much closer.
It was a new experience going up in a light aircraft but the pilot was confident and gave us many interesting facts about the area.

Great half day excursion with Captain Eve and her blast over the rock.
We were promptly picked up and driven to a small airfield by the main airport, which didn’t take more than about 10 minutes. The plane was a typical plane used for these type of tours and was expertly piloted by Eve herself
It was only a 30 minute flight, but this was more than enough to take us to see both sides of the rock (in both directions )so you had a perfect view, No matter what side of the plane you sat on.
Once finished, Eve took us back to our hotel And the whole trip didn’t take more than an hour and a half.
Fantastic service and value and would highly recommend for a perfect view over the rock.

Very nice experience. Would love to do it again. I couldn’t give five stars because of the weather. It was burning 45 degrees outside. Couldn’t bear the heat. But once on the plane we had air coming and felt relief. The ride was vey nice and exciting as it was a small plane. The pilot was very friendly. They covered all the pretty sights of the Ayers Rock and vicinity. The rock and surrounding area were beautiful from the sky.

You can see as many photos or video clips of Uluru as you like, but the scale and grandeur of the Rock as seen as a close up from the air, is breath taking. It is a must do experience.
