We were surprised to discover that the tour does not start in Tropea but a marina about 40 minutes away. Additionally, we were sardined into a boat with 15 total people. Once the tour began, it was beautiful. But that is just because of the location. One of the tour guides smoked. All in all, we felt like it was a bit of a bait and switch. We definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were genuinely surprised by your review, as the tour description clearly states that the departure point is in Capo Vaticano and that the excursion continues along the coast to Tropea.
Regarding the number of guests on board, this is a shared group tour and not a private excursion. As for smoking, it is permitted on the boat, provided it is done respectfully and without disturbing other guests.

Our family had a great time on this boat tour. It was just as described. Crystal clear waters… It was like snorkeling in a giant swimming pool! Great views of the coast. The only downside, which is no fault of the tour operators, is there are no bathrooms or running water anywhere near the meeting point. So plan accordingly.
This was an excellent 3 hour boat trip with plenty of opportunities to swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters . A delightful morning
It was fun. Just the 2 of us and a boat driver. The starting point was changed, not really a big deal.
The trip along the coast of the gods was beautiful! However, our guide barely spoke any English and only gave us card with some information on the places we were passing (so instead of looking you should be reading). It was a little awkward because we didn’t exactly know what we were suppose to do, etc. We also didn’t get water, and later turned out that we should have asked ourselves for the snorkelling equipment.
I believe the whole experience would be different should there be an English speaking guide who’d actually guide us.
Experience all in all not bad. Beautiful coast and wonderful water. Excellent the limited number of people. Suitable for families and children
