Overview
Put on a dry float suit and dare to float in the chilly waters outside of Tromso on this small-group tour. Relax and meditate, feeling safe and warm wearing all the provided gear. After, sit by the campfire, enjoy provided snacks and hot drinks like coffee and tea, and then get a certificate to take home and show your friends.

Be ready to have a great time! Rita and Paul were great, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the region. Easy pick up and return to downtown Tromso. Survival suits and inner liners were in excellent condition. Both Rita and Paul clearly enjoy showing their clients a good time. Plus great snacks!

Such an amazing experience! Being in the water was such a unique feeling and not cold at all! The guides were lovely and helpful~ and the drinks and snacks were delicious! If you’re coming to Tromsø definitely make a stop at this tour for such a unique and memorable experience!!

A unique experience - highly recommend! We enjoyed the time in the water and the snacks afterwards. The guides were friendly and ensured everything was comfortable in the water and took lots of photos and videos of us in the water and shared afterwards

This was about the coolest experience you could have in Tromso! I was nervous about getting into such cold water and feeling comfortable. The tour guides were wonderful and very helpful! Stayed dry and laughed through the whole morning. It turned out to be exceptionally relaxing. II would do this again in a heartbeat!

A unique experience! The scenery is like something out of a fairy tale. The guides are very friendly and explained everything to us. It’s very relaxing, and I highly recommend trying it! After the activity, they serve you coffee, chocolate, and cinnamon rolls, freshly baked on the fire. Thank you guys 🤍

A very relaxing experience. Lovely hosts and the surroundings were magical. Nice to warm up with some cinnamon buns and hot chocolate after the floating.
I had a wonderful experience, with a lot of nice pictures captured by our guides. The tour also offered us delicious snacks and hot drinks. This activity is a must-try in Tromso.
Nice small group adventure. We had 12 people total in 2 vans. Easy to find the meeting spot and scenic - not too long - ride to the event. Mathieu and Thibault (and their new helper!) were friendly and helpful. The gear is fairly easy to fairly easy to get on and Thibault made it fun. The float was amazing. Easy to just sit back in the water and float! Hard to believe we were in the water 30 minutes. Great warming hut used for changing and sharing hot drinks and snacks after. Love that Norwegian brown cheese (Brunost). Also, Mathieu grilled some tasty cinnamon rolls for us on an open fire. It was a great experience!

Set in the breath taking Ramfjord, this is such a unique and relaxing way to experience Norway’s magnificent landscape and wildlife. Mathieu was attentive and friendly, I highly recommend going floating with him!
Matthew and Lucine were amazing guides during our excursion to float the Artic! After a short drive to the location, we were suited up in our thermal suits and heading outside to float the Artic. Lucine was in the water with us the whole time and took pictures of us that we were able to download after our excursion. After the float, we were offered warm drinks and cinnamon buns that Matthew had cooked for us on the outdoor fire. The changing hut was super cute and warm. We highly recommend this excursion and it's a chance of a lifetime to be able to float the Arctic.

Had a great time with Mathieu and Oliver! Fun to wear the survival suits and float with a fjord view . The cabin was cozy and we had hot drinks, fire roasted cinnamon buns and bread and cheese ! Fun experience!

Our instructors were super great and friendly that it made the experience all the better. They were super willing to take photos and make sure we were comfortable. It was also the first time we had brunost and we were immediately hooked. The overall experience was very relaxing and the food was great! I would def recommend going. I believe our instructors were Mathieu and Stephanie, and you'd be lucky to have them!
Our Arctic floating adventure in Tromso was absolutely unforgettable! We arrived at the pick-up point and were greeted by a friendly gentleman who informed us that the van was full, but a taxi had been arranged for us, which arrived just a few minutes later. From there, we enjoyed a scenic drive near the water with stunning mountains all around.
Once we arrived at the site, we had to walk downhill to the hut and the water. The walk was a bit steep and slippery, so be prepared for that, but it added to the excitement and adventure of the experience. The location itself was breathtaking—surrounded by majestic mountains, a beautiful sky full of colors, and the sun setting behind the peaks.
At the hut, we were provided with socks and then floating suits. The staff were super friendly, and we had a great time chatting with the other participants. We also had a chance to take some group photos, both on their camera and our own.
Then, one of the team members went into the water and started breaking the ice with an axe, which was a cool sight! Shortly after, we were floating in the water, surrounded by nothing but mountains and the sky above us. The floating suits were incredibly warm and kept us completely dry, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.
After about half an hour of floating, we took more pictures on the frozen water and explored the area a bit. When we got out of the water, we were treated to hot chocolate and freshly made cinnamon rolls around a cozy fire—such a perfect way to warm up after the adventure. To top it all off, we were given a certificate as a souvenir, which was a nice touch and a cute reminder of the experience.
The entire adventure was truly unique and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Tromso
floating in the arctic while looking at the fjord with light snow is such a unique experience! stef and arthur were welcoming and friendly. they explained the whole process and made me feel safe throughout the whole experience. they captured many good moments for us and shared the photos with us immediately.
It was an enjoyable experience. The scenery was nice: a log cabin surrounded by frozen water and snowy mountains in the background. The staff was kind and made sure we all have nice photos to show-off later. After floating, nice cup of tea and cinnamon rolls were served.
The tour was well run and the ice floating experience was fabulous - lots of fun. Would recommend this!

Amazing experience from start to finish.
The float was so relaxing, we stayed in the water over an hour.
The crew were very good and made sure to get photos of us so you don’t need to worry about taking your phone in as to be honest you won’t be able to use them in the water anyway due to the suits.
We were so lucky with the weather perfect morning, worth every penny .
Such a great experience! The staff were very nice and took all kinds of pictures since we couldn’t. It was very enjoyable.

The experience was mind blowing.
The owner and his staff ( a young French girl) were most welcoming and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble. The young lady was absolutely the kindest person ever.

A must! Matthias and his crew are friendly and helpful, they make sure we get the most of the arctic ocean floating experience and helped with taking pictures of everyone. They explained evething in detail and we had a blast! Highly recommended if you never done ice floating before! The handmade cinnamon rolls and a variety of flavored teas combo is a plus!

We had a simply unforgettable floating experience in the picturesque fjords..though we were non-swimmers, had no problems staying afloat with the specially designed suits keeping us warm, dry and floating.. and after the activity had yummy hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.. we highly recommend it..!
