The tour of the islands and the blue cave were magnificent. The boat was comfortable and had both a shady place and a sunbathing spot. However, the best part hands down was our guide. Friendly, funny and so knowledgeable about the area. He suggested we leave early to beta the line at the Blue Cave which was great and gave us more time on the water and he had the best breakfast and lunch recommendations. The whole day was just magical and highly recommend!

Ivan was awesome! We went to the Blue Cave first thing and bought tickets and got in right away, it was gorgeous and a cool experience. We loved every location we went to and felt like we had the appropriate amount of time at each place. Ivan made our trip very enjoyable and we would highly recommend doing this tour. Keep in mind, the ride across the sea is extremely rough. This tour was sponsored by Dramamine :)

Stefan was a wonderful tour guide. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. They were extremely accommodating. We were unable to see the Blue Cave due to the weather but Stefan rearranged the day and added in new sights so we still had an amazing day. We originally had a group speedboat tour book then cancelled to do the private tour. So thankful we did. Highly worth the money. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Mario was an excellent skipper, excellent driver on the water, took us to all the stops and his favorite swimming spots! I would highly recommend this tour! And we went for a swim while we waited for our turn at the blue caves. (They were awesome also). Great time!

The weather was very choppy, and so we could not go to blue cave, or hvar. However, Stefan , our skipper made the day very enjoyable by taking us to various swimming spots, the blue lagoon and amazing little towns along the coast. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience.

Amazing experience! Stefan, our skipper, was a great guide and gave us an experience we’ll remember forever. From the history, to the relaxing time on each island, we got to do everything. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Stefan also plays the best music! He is our Nashville king!

What a great way to experience the islands off the coast of Split! Stefan was great! Kids got to swim in the Adriatic on a quiet cove/beach. Blue cave was beautiful.

We had the best day with Stefan. He went above and beyond to ensure our day was unforgettable. Instead of waiting around at the Blue Cave he toured us to other caves and snorkeling spots, showing us places we never would have otherwise seen. He got us back at just the right time to catch our Blue Cave ticket time. We went to Vis for a lovely lunch and then on for more snorkeling and exploration. We finished the day in Hvar where Stefan gave us extra time to explore the town, grab some gelato and a glass of wine. It was a perfect day. The kids and adults all had a wonderful time. One of the best days yet!

I surprised my girlfriend with a private day trip.
The day was wonderful and will be remembered forever.

Cruise ship guests - we have the following recommendation to make the most of your precious time and day!
8:30 Pick up at Matejuska pier. (it is nearly 20 min walk from cruise ship)
10:30 Arrive at blue cave and buy your tickets right away. (Only 1 person get off boat, wait is nearly 2 to 2.5 hours)
10:35 Leave for Komiza island (Mama Mia island is close by, eat lunch)
12:30 Leave Komiza back to blue cave, hopefully your number is coming soon.
1:15 Leave Blue cave for Hvar
2 pm Stop and swim at Green cave (it is on the way to Hvar)
2:30 pm Depart Green Cave
3pm Walk around Hvar, do some shopping
3:45 pm Leave Hvar to return back to Split.
5 pm Arrive at Split pier and walk back to cruise ship.
Positive - Charter company is very good in communicating via email, Whatsapp Boat is high speed and great music that everyone will enjoy.
Negative - The captain will do his best to convince you not to stop at blue cave due to the far distance, time and long wait. He never suggested we could simply buy the tickets and wait on the neighbor island of Komiza. Poor customer experience to teach your guests a lesson and make them wait for 3 hours on blue cave which has nothing much in way of restaurants or shopping. I quickly realized we were wasting our time and called him back to take us to Komiza. He said "that is not our usual company policy." My reply was since were were not doing all 5 islands and this is our private charter we would like Komiza instead.
Mayer Charter could offer is much better experience if they picked up guests directly from the cruise ship dock. It is impossible to get a taxi and the walk is more than the suggested 10 mins.
Other tips - Please carry Kuna cash.
Blue cave 100 Kuna entry, Green cave 70 Kuna entry.
No swimming allowed inside blue cave. Yes swimming allowed in green cave.
Bottom Line - Do not listen to Captain!

Mario was a great Captain/Tour Guide. He is very professional, knowledgeable, patient and gracious. He picked us up and dropped us off right in front of our hotel. Mario took us to several different swimming spots that the kids loved. When the company found out that the Blue Cave would be closed on our originally scheduled day, they contacted us and offered to change the tour date to the following day. Very proactive and thoughtful. Thanks to them we got to experience the Blue Cave and it was worth it!

Had a great day with Capt Tony - weather did not permit us going to Blue Cave and Green Cave but Tony recommended other things for us to see and do!!! Great time and the place we went to for lunch was excellent - we all really enjoyed the whole day!!!

Early morning start but well worth it. Captain Stefan was very good keeping us informed contacting us the evening before with details and meeting point. Boat was very comfortable run-about with a canvas Bimini top. We experienced many different and beautiful views during our trip. Stefan was very informative and shared all with us and answered all of our questions with confidence. Weather was warn and the water was refreshing. Meal recommendations were excellent. We will be back.

This tour was great. We were a party of 9 so we had our own private boat and skipper. They were both great. The boat was new and comfortable. The skipper was knowlegeable and customized the trip to our likes. We had perfect weather. There was a wait on the island if Biscevo to see the Blue Cave

Magnifique journée en bateau, en famille, nous étions 9 avec les enfants de 3,6,7 et 10 ans.
Karlo, notre skipper a été parfait, il est venu nous chercher jusque devant l’endroit où nous logeons à Arbanija Ciovo à Trogir, il s’adapte à nos demandes, musique et temps d attente sur les îles laissé à notre choix.
Trajet paraissant un peu long à l aller jusque la grotte bleue et beaucoup de vagues au retour l’après midi ! Mais ça n a rien gâcher!
