We had Muhammed as our tour guide. It turned out it was a slow day so it was just my wife and I and the driver. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very courteous. The drive round the city was spectacular, the breakfast was a delight and the walking tour of the market was every thing we could have asked for. The sights, the sounds and the smells were fantastic. I was a bit nervous about the camel ride, but it ended up being one of the high points of the tour. If there was a way to give him more than 5 stars, I'd do it.

some hits, some misses

Group of 5 of us booked a "private" tour for 9am at the cruise ship dock. Later, we learned Muhammad took a booking for another private tour to join us at 10am and made us sit in the van for an hour waiting for the other group of 5 before starting. Middle part of the day was great as his English is good and takes you to the same stops many of the other tours go, plus a fantastic stop for pancakes and tea outside of the city. Bring extra tipping money as you're turned over to other guides at some stops (camel rides, Hurcules Caves). The tour is a driving portion first half of the day and walking around inside the city for the second half. Was put off by walking portion with over an hour of your tour being taken to "cultural demonstrations" which are 2 stops inside fancier shops for sales pitches, one for rugs and a second for spices/beauty products.

Excellent day trip from Spain to Morocco

Mohammed and our driver Abdul were both amazing! Waiting for us at the port, plenty of stops along the way, Cap Spartel, meghrebi tea, camel ride on the beach, a walking tour of the Kasbeh with beautiful doors, architecture and facts. Sales pitches at a carpet co-op and a pharmacy co-op for spices and oils, then a Moroccan tajin meal before heading back to the port. 11am-6pm day was full and great.

This is a wonderful tour of the areas outside of Tangier and the Medina/Kabah. Abdul, our driver, took us to many of the tourist areas outside of the city. He was a careful driver and considerate of our time. He took many pictures of us. Unfortunately, rain was forecasted so he and Mohammad ensured we were able to ride the camels before the storm moved in. The camel ride was more than expected. They also rerouted the later part of the drive so my husband could be dropped at the port before Mohammad started the Medina tour. Mohammed was very knowledgeable, energetic, kind and smiled often. He was greeted warmly by those living/working in the Medina. Mohammad kept me as dry as possible with a large umbrella and walks through shops instead of in the open. It was interesting to learn about the history and culture of Tangier with a native. The only thing I would have liked to have had different was for Mohammad to be with us the entire tour.

Fun Day Off Cruise in Tangier!

I booked this tour for myself and my parents to enjoy tangier for the day from a cruise. We were picked up from the terminal (some slight confusion on the meeting point but that's ok!). We met Mohammed and he sent us with a driver to the Cave of Hercules, Camel rides, and some nice viewpoints. I do wish he came with us because our driver spoke little english and we wanted to hear more about the places we were visiting and the area along the drive. We were then brought to breakfast around 11:30am. Because the driver just left us there, we were not sure what to order/what was included. It all ended up being included in our tour price and was yummy. The driver brought us back to the Old Town to do a walking tour with Mohammed which was nice. He showed us many sites and side streets. He brought us to some shops that were cool to see but had some VERY pushy salesmen! Lastly he asked us if we wanted Moroccan food for lunch and we agreed. He brought us to a restaurant and left for an hour which kinda seemed like he didn't have enough for us to do. This meal was NOT included in the price but we enjoyed it. I wish he had stated that prior to the offering because I did not have the Viator experience on standby to verify what was/was not included. Besides that, we had a nice day and got back to the ship with plenty of time!
