Excellent road trip!

Martins was waiting in our hotel lobby with our name on a sign five minutes before the pick-up time. He was well dressed and very friendly. He put our luggage in the car, and we took off. There was water in the car for us to drink on our drive from Tallinn to Riga. While driving, Martins engaged in thoughtful and historical conversations with us as he learned we were history fans. When he learned I was an educator, he shared his knowledge and experience in the Latvian educational system. He also allowed for some quiet time so I could take a little nap and have a conversation with my husband. The first stop was the beach, where my husband and I took a very long, lovely walk. Next time we are in the area, we want to stay for at least a night to a couple of days on the beach. Then we stopped at a beach town and ate some delicious baked goods and did a little shopping. Our lunch stop was the most delicious meal, and we chose to eat at a table in their beautiful yard. We tried Zander, a white fish, and some cheeses. The meal was one of the freshest and most memorable of our entire trip. The last stop was the open-air museum. It is the largest open-air museum I have ever been to. You could walk around for so many hours. It was peaceful walking through the forest and along the water while the artifacts in the homes, barns, and buildings were enlightening. Martins asked if he could add a stop to the end of our trip, and it was a perfect one for my husband and aviation people. I won’t share it with you so I don’t ruin the surprise in case you go too. We will hire Martins again when we come back and recommend him to drive anyone from Tallinn to Riga.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience on this one‑way tour/transfer from Tallinn to Riga. Martins was prompt, courteous, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. The stops in Pärnu were perfect — just the right chance to stretch our legs and enjoy a peaceful, charming break. Martins even surprised us with a delicious local dessert, and the lunch stop he chose was outstanding. The visit to the Open Air Museum was another highlight, full of character and history. And then came the final surprise stop, which truly felt like the icing on the cake. Throughout the journey, Martins kept us engaged with interesting conversations, making the entire day flow effortlessly and pleasantly. This was without question the best way to travel from Tallinn to Riga, and we’re genuinely happy we chose this option. Highly, highly recommend this tour.
