If you have ever ridden a bicycle, you can do this. My husband and I are 74 and 70 and we very much enjoyed our ride with frequent stops along the sea and through the city neighborhoods. Our guide was Roland who was EXCELLENT and a local guy! He filled us in on the history of the area and explained all of the things we saw as we went along, answering our many questions with good humor and patience. We had a group of 10 and easily made it across intersections together. The Tallin bicycle paths were broad and smooth and the places we went were interesting and beautiful. We highly recommend this wonderful bike tour. Many thanks to Roland!

The best way to not only see but get to know Tallin, but think twice if you’re not used to cycling with a regular good bike without battery. Our guide (don’t remember his name but his mom was Russian) gave us a very good picture of Tallin and the Estonian history and of course we saw Tallin

Thank you for the Feedback.
Tim is our local guide, speaks good English, Estonian, Russian. We love our home town and Estonia and ready to share the information.
Bike tour is around 12-13 km and all flat terrain, easy to cycle. E-biek is optional but no must

Really enjoyable tour - a perfect amount of time, history and sites in the 2 1/2 hours. The bikes were great and our guide, Andreas, was fantastic. .
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for the feedback.
Andreas joined our team again, after 1 year in the army service, which is cumpulsory to all Estonian men. And he survided well

We love to cycle and share our stories and listen to your questions and comments.

The tour was good. The bikes were solid. 4 stars for that. The narrative was a bit heavy anti Russian for my taste. One can be factual and Baltics suffered both under Russian, and Soviet invasion as well as the Nazis. The guide was 3 years old when Soviet republic was toppled. His disdain was nurtured at home. Of course his dad spent 3 years in Siberia and wrote a book after.. 20% of residents are however Russian speaking. Proliferating hate does not help healing. If you're in the tourism business you have an obligation and a responsibility to keep your emotions out of the tour. IMHO...or call it what it is an Anti Russian Talln bike tour.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for the feedback!
We do not spread Russian narratives on our tours. We tell the truth and have a lot of personal stories. Many of our friends and colleages have historical Russian connectons. One thing is Russian regime and another are Russian people, we do not mix them. We accept the truth and it is not shiny and glorious Victory Day presentation over Nazis. It is bloody path what was left here and how the regime continued to punish the people here, long after the war was over. It is also reflection what happens at present day in Russia, they attacked an independent country and are killing civilians daily. Our guides tell their stories and answer questions guests ask. And sometimes those questions are more about How we feel living next to Russia...

This bicycle tour only circled the perimeter of the city. It did not go into Old Town. We ended up having to take a walking tour afterward to see the most interesting part of the city. That was disappointing. We had to fight lots of traffic and busy intersections. This was a challenging city route for a novice biker. The guide provided limited assistance. although he provided some information at each stop but overall it was not up to our expectations. We were glad that we upgraded to electric bikes, but one of them didn't even have a kickstand.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the feedback.
Sorry to hear that you expected to be cycling in Old town. We do not do it as it is very often too crowded and raod a kind of medieval, cobble stones. Our description also state all the sights we cover and none of them is in Old Town.
Traffic in Tallinn is very low and we use 90% bicycle lines and the rest is park lines and crossing intersections with traffic lights.

Fantastic ride around Tallinn on a spectacularly beautiful spring day. Friendly, knowledgeable guide gave us great historical background on the places we visited throughout the ride.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the feedback. Loved to have you. We enjoy our city and rides here. Relaxed and easy going. E-bikes are available but regular bike is also as good for the 2.5 hours cycling tour.
David_W, Apr 2026
This was a Great way to appreciate Tallinn beyond the old town. My guide Roland was friendly and informative.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for the feedback!
Our office is in Old Town, convinient location. But we ride outside, explore seaside, parks, sights. All best to reach by bicycle. No big hills to climb.
Brittany_B, Apr 2026
We had a wonderful time on our tour. We came in for the day on the ferry and the timing was perfect. We had a good history lesson and learned about the modern day Estonia. The bikes were comfortable and the guide was entertaining. Thank you!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you Brittany! Your feedback matters. Our office is only 1 km from ferry port and very central location. During easter period have had tours every day and participants all over world. Tallinn is good place to cycle and bicycle is the best way to see sights outside Old Town.
Rebecca_T, Apr 2026
It was so awesome! Roland our guide was an excellent guide, very good with children, tells engaging stories and history ,and is very knowledgeable. It is a refreshing alternative to old town to see the beauty of Tallinn. The bikes are good quality and myself, and my 11 year old and 6 year olds found bikes that fit them well. The trip is relatively easy with many bike paths and only one hill. Don't hesitate to book this trip!!!!
Response from Host, Apr 2026

Ruth_B, Sep 2025
We had an amazing experience on this bike tour of Tallinn! The guide Roland was incredibly engaging and passionate, with a real talent for storytelling. Every stop came alive with rich historical context, from medieval times to Estonia’s modern independence.
One of the highlights was visiting the Song Festival Grounds, a powerful symbol of Estonian culture and resilience. The guide’s explanation of the Singing Revolution was especially moving.
We also got to explore modern, progressive areas of the city, with striking architecture and thoughtful urban design — a side of Tallinn we wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
The bikes were super comfortable and easy to ride, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Roland always was aware of less experienced riders.
Whether you’re into history, culture, or just want a unique perspective on the city, this tour is a must-do.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thnak you for the long review. In Estonia we have a lot of traditions and culture. Song Festivals is one of them and it is a sacral place to every local, attending to Song Festival is ultimate goal once in a lifetime. Hope to see you soon again in Estonia.
Brian_J, Sep 2025
Great bike tour with Roland! Bikes were newer in good condition. We were guided to many important historical places and along the seaside. Very informative.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you for the feedback. We have premium city bikes for tours and rental and of course very important is to regularly maintain the fleet, meaning, mechanics working every day.
Shelley_H, Sep 2025
100% recommend this tour while you are in Tallinn. Roland is an expert tour leader. Knowledgeable about Estonian history and the local culture.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you for the feedback.
Roland is our senior guide, not in terms of age but the knowladge!
Sytze_Z, Sep 2025
The trip is very nice and gives a good view on the all the recommandabel places in Tallinn. The guide was well informed about the history of the country and the city.
Unfortenately the group of 16 bikers was too big. Two smaller groups should be better. Furthermore we couldn’t allways hear the guide. We recommand that the guide will use a microphone and headphones. Finally we suggest that the members of the group should wear reflecting coat.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thanks you for the feedback.
15 is our maximum group size and this number is not including the guide.
We do not use headphones becaouse consider this not to be safe, as the outside atmosphere should be noticed and we try to speaks up. This feedback is passed to the guides to pay attention. Thank you once more for coming and taking part of our bicycle tour.
ANDREAS_B, Sep 2025
Great way to see Tallin. Beautiful surroundings and sights. The guide was nice but needs to wait with the guiding until all the bikers has arrived. One tip is also to look at the participants when speaking.
Thank you for letting our friend join the group all though it was full.
All in all a great experience.
Joshua_K, Sep 2025
Great experience and wonderful way to see a lot of places you might not see by just walking around Tallinn. Tour guide ((Roland) was great and added a lot of information about life under Soviet control.
Tour spends very little time in Old Town due to the cobblestone streets and crowds, but you can walk that on your own. Great way to get out of the city and see some of the other attractions and wonderful parks and parts of the city. Highly recommend the tour.
Gregory_C, Aug 2025
Excellent history lesson. Roland was very knowledgeable about the current and past history of Estonia. Good pace and many sites visited. Would do this tour again.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for the feedback!
We love our city and it is nice the hear you liked it too!
Daniel_C, Jul 2025
You need to know how to ride a bicycle and expect some slight hills, slight rough dirt trails, and cobblestones.

Very enjoyable cycle with Roland having a vast knowledge. Excellent way to see and hear all about Tallinn
Terry_R, Jul 2025
Guided bicycle ride through Tallinn was great. Roland was an excellent guide. Born and raised there, he was able to share a wealth of knowledge regarding his country, now and during the Soviet occupation. Really enjoyed this excursion. And the cookie great at the end was a delicious surprise!

Brenda_H, May 2025
Excellent 2.5 hr ride through Tallinn. The bike shop's located in the Old Town, a great place to visit pre and post. The ride takes you outside the Old Town, which is good...the cobblestones can be brutal to ride on lol Thomas was a very knowledgeable guide and didn't mess around with the places we visited, kept us moving after telling us the history of each spot. Would recommend!
Response from Host, Jun 2025
