Wear great walking shoes. There’s a lot of cobblestones. Very interesting and enjoyed it very much. Tour guide was very personable and very knowledgeable.
Good insight to the old town of Tallinn. Guide was excellent. Learned a lot about history of city and surrounding area.
This was a wonderful and fun tour! Janna ( Not sure if that’s the right spelling) was a wonderful tour guide. She had so much info about and pride in Estonia and shared her beautiful country with us with a balance of wit, humor, and grace. I loved every second of it. I definitely recommend this tour. I am a travel agent and I know that I would recommend this tour to my clients!
Was a wonderful small group tour. Our guide was from Estonia and took us to both the highlights and hidden gems. Recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant for lunch for our 2 hours of free time which was the highlight meal of our trip. Highly recommend this experience.
Didn’t realize this was mostly a walking tour . It is a lot of cobblestone streets . The guide was good but likes to stick to a strict schedule and not answer questions he preferred for us to wait until he was done with his talks and if he did not cover to ask . He was knowledgeable . We did leave late due to someone not showing up.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the tour informative and the guide knowledgeable.
Please note that the Old Town is pedestrian-only, and the tour description clearly states the walking involved as well as that the activity is not accessible for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We also allow a 30-minute collection window on shared group tours to accommodate cruise passengers disembarking from the ship.
If you prefer not to wait for fellow cruise passengers, we recommend considering a private tour rather than a shared group tour.
Safe travels!
Great City, Great Tour, Great Tour Guide. Peter was and excellent guide. His knowledge of the area was wonderful. He has a very pleasant and "customer service oriented" personality and it was a true pleasure spending the day with Peter. I highly recommend this tour and hope you are fortunate enough to get Peter as your Guide.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the historic sites and would do this tour again.
It was fantastic! Alexander was bright, funny, communicative and so knowledgeable! He could be heard in the crowd and his linguistic education was so educational to us about all the words and pronunciations from all the countries in close proximity! Very enjoyable
Very knowledgeable guide! Was great how we could take a bus to the top, see upper Tallinn and learn about it, and then walk downhill to Lower Tallinn and learn about that but still have time for shopping or grabbing a bite to eat.
It was a god tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of walking but it was all good.
We really liked that the tour began right at the ship. Jana gave a very informative and interesting talk as we walked through the city. You should know that this is a 5 hour tour, but the last 2 hours were free time before the bus picked us up to return to the ship. We opted to walk the 20-25 minutes on our own back to the ship since we weren't interested in shopping. Some people opted to stay for lunch before returning too.
This was a wonderful tour to give us an overview of the charming capital city of Tallinn. We got to see cathedrals, parliament, a castle, a view of Old Town, and many wonderful shops and restaurants. It was my favorite city on our tour of Scandinavia! It was topped off with lunch on our own at a local restaurant that we decided to try--Yummy thin crust pizza that was delicious and we were provided very fast service, as well.
We had a great experience of the old town except for my husband having his wallet stolen out of his shoulder bag. Luckily it only contained some cash. He was not being pick pocket aware. Thank you for an informative tour
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide told us lots of history and took us to amazing sights. We had a long day there at port so we stayed in town after the tour and enjoyed a fun meal at Olde Hansa upon her recommendation and then shopped and enjoyed the Medieval atmosphere!
Another fantastic tour with Viator. Our guide Helen was fabulous. She had lots of details to share and so much to see. A great experience especially when you only have so much time like on a cruise.
We were greeted by a very friendly Peter right outside the cruise port. I didn’t know what to expect, a mini bus for 2? I was wrong, there were about 30 of us and it was all just brilliant. We hopped into a proper coach and off we go. Peter our tour guide was a local and was so informative, a real people person, interacting with us, with his extensive knowledge and his stories, Monks, Devils the lot!
An extremely good trip, thoroughly enjoyed it. At the end you are given a couple of options of when you’d like to catch a ride back to the ship, around 1.5 hours of free time. One option slightly less, the other slightly more. You don’t have to though if you want to make your own way back..
We then met another nice chap who escorted us to a coach and back to our ship. Thank you 😊
We found it confusing to find the meeting point. The listed address took us to a different location on Google Maps than we were supposed to meet, and when we walked through the meeting spot en route to the posted address there was no one holding the sign we were supposed to be looking for. Also, the phone number to call for help was in Greece, and no one answered. We instead heard a message in Greek and then it hung up. The description of the tour also emphasized the bus element and the driver, so we expected that the tour was primarily in a bus when really it is primarily a walking tour. The tour also left the meeting spot—once we finally found it—about an hour after the starting time. The walking tour itself was great. But it was a confusing process to get started and didn’t match our expectations, based on the tour description.
Fabulous city. Tour guide was absolutely incredible. Easy to understand and very passionate about her city. I would recommend this tour
Our guide Erik, was very knowledgeable. We learned so much about Estonia. He always had answers for every question.
Our tour in Tallinn was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was because of our incredible guide. From the very first moments, she made us feel not like tourists, but like welcomed guests discovering the soul of the city through the eyes of someone who genuinely loves it.
Her stories, warmth, humor, and deep knowledge brought every street, building, and hidden corner of Tallinn to life in such a meaningful way. You could feel the history, the culture, and the heart behind every place we visited. It wasn’t just a tour — it felt like experiencing the city with a friend who wanted us to fall in love with Tallinn the way she has.
What made the experience especially memorable was her kindness, patience, and the personal touches throughout the day. Long after the tour ended, we were still talking about everything we learned and felt.
Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories. This experience will stay with us for a very long time, and Tallinn will always hold a special place in our hearts because of you.
Great tour covering the historical sites, guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. On your feet for 3 hours on cobblestones.
We saw many fascinating sites, pace was very good for people with difficulty walking. Jorge was attentive, knowledgeable, and very respectful and friendly.
Peter was wonderful! He did an excellent job of telling us the history and stories of Tallin. He even told us about the societal info about Estonia. Great job!
Peter is an enthusiastic and friendly guide
Fair bit of mostly gentle walking on cobblestones- well organized and pick ups at both ends were easy
Greatly enjoyed the day
Meeting the guide could have been more organised as they were holding a sign with group 1 or 2 and we were not told what group we were in. The actual tour was brilliant. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we had a really enjoyable day.
Peter did an excellent tour sharing many stories and legends of Tallinn. Great Estonia history review and good route.
Alexander was incredibly knowledgeable and we appreciated his sense of humor as well. It’s a beautiful walking tour and we gained a tremendous amount of history and insight to it’s complex history. We were a group of 9, which was perfect. Thank you!
Our guide Alekander was outstanding. The best guide ive come across in my travels to date. Take this tour, it is worth it!
Our guide, Jelena, was fantastic! She knew her history & had many interesting facts about Tallinn & Estonia. Loved this tour.
Our guide was wonderful. Probably one of the best guides we've ever had. The city looks like it's out of a storybook. You won't be disappointed.
