A+ tour with Max
Max was such a lovely tour guide!! So knowledgeable, so kind. My senior parents had a wonderful time with the pace and his patience to answer any and all questions. Truly the best of Estonia, made me fall in love with Tallinn and the country. Highly recommend you book this tour early in your visit to get all the background.

This was a good, guided...
This was a good, guided tour of the old town. We were picked up right outside of the terminal and driven into town. The walking tour was very good, and our guide was very knowledgeable. There is a lot of walking so be prepared for that. The first little break we had did have a couple of gift shops and places to get a drink. It wasn't a long break but quick enough for a bathroom break and to buy a few gifts. We ended the tour in the lower portion of town and we had close to 2 hours on our own. We were able to shop in several of the stores and stop at a very cute bakery for a snack. The tour guide made sure to point out the meeting point for our group to let us know when and where to meet. There was a short walk back to our bus and then the drop off back at the terminal. Overall, it was a good tour, and we enjoyed the views and the history.

Absolute best tour of Tallinn
If you are visiting Tallinn, you absolutely have to book this tour. Archibald didn't just give us a standard history lesson; he brought the entire city to life. He possesses an incredible depth of knowledge, seamlessly connecting medieval history with fascinating insights into modern-day politics and life in Estonia today. He was so generous with his time and actually stayed with us much longer than the scheduled tour just to make sure all of our questions were answered. You can tell he is genuinely passionate about his city, and his storytelling kept us engaged the entire time.

Must do!
Small GREAT group so maybe that made the experience that much better but Anastasia was also a FANTASTIC guide. I know I’ll be back and even if we go to the same places I’ll probably still enjoy it. I’d like more drinking or more time but it is a do not miss. And the weather was bad so if it’s not I’m sure it would be that much better.

A wonderful view of Tallinn’s Soviet side.
A ‘must’! Really interesting and engaging tour with Tom. Buildings you’d walk past without a second thought, and areas you’d simply pass through, suddenly become meaningful when you hear the fascinating stories behind them. It feels like if you only stick to the Old Town, you’re getting just half the story. Do it!!

Fantastic Tallinn
We had the absolute pleasure of having Heivi as our guide visiting Tallinn. Heivi was easy to locate at the meeting place and provided us with an exceptionally informative narrative of the city. She was very knowledgeable, courteous and ensured that we were very well looked after. We left Tallinn wishing that we had more than one day to be able to explore more. When we come back we will definitely be looking for Heivi to guide us again.

Great walking tour of Tallinn
Our guide, Herman, was fantastic. He shared so much information about Estonian history and culture, as we walked through the various areas of Tallinn, including the seaport, upper old town, and lower old town. It was a really great experience and I highly recommend this tour. Do it upon your arrival in Tallinn, and you will have an overview that will allow you to self-guide the rest of your visit.

Laehaema national park tour from Tallinn
This was great tour of the natural beauty of the Laeheama national park wetlands and the manor of the 1800s wealthy manor, a great Estonian restaurant for lunch, and a nice walking visit to the old fishing village, and beautiful waterfalls!
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome!

GREAT Tour!! Worth it!
Tarmo, our guide, was awesome. He walked us ALL around Old Town—upper and lower. We walked over 7 miles in 5 hours, with one break for snacks and drinks. Tarmo is a native of Estonia. We have noticed recently that more and more tour guides in Europe are not natives of the cities that they are touring you through, but rather have lived there for four or five years. While they can still give a great tour, they cannot match the experiences and insights of a true native. By the end of the tour, we were already to move to Estonia. Who knew? 😉

The best way to not only...
The best way to not only see but get to know Tallin, but think twice if you’re not used to cycling with a regular good bike without battery. Our guide (don’t remember his name but his mom was Russian) gave us a very good picture of Tallin and the Estonian history and of course we saw Tallin

Wonderful tour
We throughly enjoyed this tour and our guide was excellent. Although a lot of walking (3 hour walking tour), the van dropped us off at the top of old town and we walked down. Old Town was wonderful, a perfect mix of history and shopping and daily life.

Beautiful Medieval City bike ride
Easy bike ride traversing the city of Tallin. Our guide Thomas showed us all the highlights of this historic medieval city. Loved that the city has bike lanes that made us feel safe. Thomas was very accommodating and made sure we were always within his sight and he took into account our age! We had time to stop and get a coffee and cinnamon bun at a local indoor market. Really lived the integration of old and new architecture and the fascinating history of the city!
