We entirely enjoyed our day! Estonia has such an interesting history and Tallinn is a beautiful city. Our guide, Ingrid, was exceptional and she made sure we experienced all the highlights. She was very patient while we shopped for Amber and had fun helping us make our selections. She helped us find locally made Estonia gifts that was a priority for us. This day exceeded all our expectations!

We really enjoyed this tour. Tallinn is a beautiful city filled with so much history. Our guide did a great job covering the history and high points of the city. We started at the top of the hill and worked our way down which was appreciated. Our transport to/from the cruise ship was prompt and reliable. Overall great experience.

This excursion was a highlight of our trip. Peter, our guide, did absolute awesome job explaining the history of the city/country in addition to telling us wonderful tales. We would highly recommend this tour if you only have a few hours in port.

Beautiful Tallin

JOHN_H, Oct 2025
Tallin for me was my favorite stop on a two week Scandanavian and Baltic capitals cruise. One of the most original medieval cities in Europe. Tallin is quite compact and easy to walk, recommend walking from the upper town to the lower. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, she also shared her experiences living under both communism and post Soviet government.

A wonderful introduction to Tallinn, gave us a great overview of the town & the history. The pace was very relaxed & never felt rushed, would recommend

The Best Day in Tallinn

Sandra_F, Sep 2025
Anna was the perfect guide. The tour was well paced, and she provided so much important and useful information, along with interesting, human stories. She also provided tips for enjoying all Tallinn offers on our own, after the tour. Highly recommended!

Old town not to missed

rmjcha2, Jul 2025
Our guide Janna was very knowledgeable and led us on marvellous tour of the upper and lower old town. We saw everything with time at the end to wander around ,shop and have a meal.

Good way to see Tallin

John_R, Jul 2025
3hrs with opportunity to sit in places. Very interesting tour with knowledgeable guide. Giving historical context. Lots of walking on cobblestones. Time to shop and eat. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Tallinn

Beautiful city and great tour. Great sights including the Toompea castle, St.Nicolas church, St. Panteleimon’s cathedral and Town hall square.

Love Tallin

Maria_D, Jun 2025
I wasn't expecting too much from it but wow. Tallin it's really amazing and the tour lady Jenna is excellent. 100% recommended!

Great walking tour!

Martha_M, Jun 2025
We had a fantastic time exploring Tallinn with our guide, Eva Maria! We were met at the cruise terminal as instructed and travelled by small bus to the highest part of Old Tallinn. From there, we walked and explored as our guide shared the history of her city. We also had time on our own to shop and explore before being picked up and taken back to our ship.

The Best Tour Ever!

Deborah_D, Jun 2025
Our tour guide was henry. That's his name in english. He was well versed in architecture and the history. He also gave fun facts and legends. He was kind and considerate too. It was our first visit to Estonia we will return.

What a wonderful experience with great guide!

Chris_W, Jun 2025
What a wonderful experience with great guide! We booked a private tour and worked out as we had hoped and went at our pace! If i remember her name correctly (Marva) was truly a local, knowing the area, history and perspective!

Excellent shore excursion

Virginia_M, Jun 2025
This was a wonderful shore excursion with Peter as our guide. We were picked up at the port on time and Peter took us on the walking tour for 3 hours. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and provided us with so much information about Tallinn. We had free time in town after the tour and the driver picked us up at the designated time and location and returned us to the port. Highly recommend this tour

Tallinn on Foot

Amy_R, Jun 2025
Our guide Peter was brimming with information and spoke clearly. The tour took in many of the Old Town sights with great background of the significance of each. Tallinn is a beautiful city with a rich heritage. We had three hours of a walking tour with very few stops and little opportunity to sit. We were instructed to meet for transport back to the ship at a certain place and time with the same van and driver. We arrived early, and a similar van pulled up, but, because it was pulling a trailer, we did not think it was our transport. It was a different van with a different driver. We arrived back at the port safely and on time.

Great tour with lots of information!

Jocelyn_C, May 2025
We came off a cruise ship and it was easy to meet the guides and the bus right outside the port. Our guide was Uve and we had 13 people in our group. It was a great walking tour (the bus dropped us off at top of upper town which was nice as we walked down) and then there was free time before the bus took us back to port or option to go back yourself. There was a great mix of history and local information and we love these tours where someone is pointing out what we are seeing and why it’s important. Would highly recommend this tour and Uve was great!

Don’t miss this tour!

Joy_M, May 2025
You will thoroughly enjoy this tour. You will learn the history of this exceptional city. The cobblestone streets and historic buildings are outstanding. Thankfully the tour started at the top of the hill on which the city is built. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Fantastic Tallinn

Gerard_M, May 2025
Brilliant tour by a very informative & proud Jana. Had a great introduction to Tallinn which is a beautiful town with a very checkered history. Highly recommend

Beautiful Tallinn

Linda_R, May 2025
Excellent walking tour of Tallinn. We’re not only saw the beautiful sites of old town. We learned so much about the history of Tallinn annd Estonia.

We will definitely be going back to Tallin

Heather_H, Aug 2024
I would highly recommend this tour as it was very informative and our guide made it very enjoyable with her funny comments she would say. It was a nice and intimate setting and we were able to spend plenty of time in the old city as well as the new. She mentioned what stores to purchase true souvenirs from and what restaurants were the best. We decided to stay in the city longer and were able to easily walk back to the boat after spending a few hours more downtown shopping.

Highly Recommended Talinn Walking Tour

Gail_S, Jun 2024
Great way to tour Talinn while on a cruise. The van was waiting for us just outside the gate on the pier. Our tour guide, Yanni, was very knowledgeable and quite fun. There’s lots of walking but she paced it well and we had ample time arc the end to explore on our own.

Tallin is a MUST SEE

Marilyn_T, Jun 2024
There was a mix up to the start time of the tour. The woman who met us at the port was rude. We continued to receive text messages, even after the tour began, that the time start was at 11:00 am. Peter, our tour guide was OUTSTANDING. He was calm, educated, spoke English perfectly, shared some very interesting historical facts. He made our trip!

Wonderful Tour that’s Affordable, Informative and Provides Personal Time to Explore

Tom_O, May 2024
The tour was excellent!!! Unlike a tour you get through a cruise line, not only did we have an excellent tour guide, Nelli, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and didn’t rush us at all, we were afforded time to look around during the tour. Additionally at the end of the 3+ hour tour, we had over two hours to explore on our own, have lunch in the beautiful town square, then catch their shuttle bus back to the cruise port. Vehicles were very nice too, and our tour group was 16 people, which is all the shuttle could fit, which was also great. I really like the smaller tour group size. Nelli stayed after the tour to answer anyone’s questions, then we had a great lunch, grabbed some authentic Estonian wood workings and had to get some marzipan, which was amazing. When we first booked this cruise we were puzzled as to why Tallinn would be a port stop. Now it’s been our favorite stop. Just a gorgeous town!!

Response from Host, Jun 2024

We're thrilled to hear that you had such an excellent experience exploring Tallinn with us! Providing knowledgeable and friendly guides like Nelli, along with ample time for exploration and a comfortable tour group size, is what we strive for. It's wonderful to know that Tallinn became your favorite stop, and we couldn't agree more about its beauty! Thank you for choosing us for your Tallinn adventure, and we hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable experiences in the future!

Highly recommended this amazing tour!

caruca4, May 2024
Our guide was fabulous! He was personable, very knowledgeable and helpful. The sites were breathtaking and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour over the shore excursions offered on the ship. My questions were answered promptly by the tour company.

Amazing Tallinn Tour

John_N, Aug 2023
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great knowledge of the history. He shared lots of stories and insights that really made Tallinn come alive.

Great with Isabella

Clara_d, Aug 2023
Isabella’s was great ! She knows the history , answer all the questions we have .we have in our group a person with health problems and she was really nice , look for places where she was able to seat … the only problem was that we have to go back to the bus alone . We pay for 5 hours, walk 3 and 2 on our own ..but she just drop us there … she should‘ve come back for us .. we almost missed the bus .. because she didn’t even know the exact meeting point with the driver . 4 people in the group didn’t speak English … very hard for them to go back on their own if they separate from us .

Beautiful Tallin. Loved it!

Lee_B, Aug 2023
Fabulous tour of beautiful Tallin. What a gorgeous city with a history of strength and resilience. We loved it.

A Terrific Introduction to Tallinn

Duane_F, Jul 2023
As the tour had only nine participants it resembled a private tour. Our tour guide was phenomenal. Knowing little to nothing about Tallinn and Estonia prior to the tour we all came away with a better understanding of both. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history, politics, religion and culture of her city and country. Additionally she had several very interesting stories about the area which added to her thoughtful presentation. I would highly recommend this tour.
