The small group tour with our family was very informative and our guide, Hanne was wonderful. My husband has a disability and Hanne kept at a slower pace to accommodate us. The information shared was very interesting. Hanne answered every question we had. I would highly recommend this option if you really want an in depth experience.

We got a lot of information about Tallinn and Estonia. We walked thru old Tailinn. There was about 90 minutes to shop or eat

As a small note, Tallinn’s Old Town is not accessible by vehicle, so some walking is always required in that area. However, the tour pace is adjusted to the group to ensure it remains comfortable, and there is always free time included for shopping or dining, as you experienced.

We had a fantastic time exploring Tallinn. The tour was well organised and gave us a great overview of the city, especially the beautiful Old Town and its history. Everything moved at a comfortable pace and we felt like we saw all the highlights without feeling rushed. It was a really enjoyable day and a great way to make the most of our time in Tallinn. I was very pleasantly surprised by this tour - I had never heard of Tallinn before this trip and was not at all sure what to expect. I absolutely LOVED the entire tour - from the sights to the food - I just wish I could remember the name of the tour guide because she was just a wonderful person with a rich knowledge of the entire area and history.

A lot of walking with hills and steps and it was too long, we ended up walking back to the ship should be one hour free time not two

Helena was the best guide!! So knowledgeable and friendly. Super informative and entertaining, she gave some great recommendations for eating and shopping as well.
It was easy to find the guides at the port which is sometimes an issue.

This was a wonderful tour! Our tour guide (a female with brown hair in a red ball cap) was excellent. She was interesting, knowledgeable, entertaining, friendly and personable. She was very easy to understand. I highly recommend this tour.

Yana provided an excellent overview of Tallinn historical district. She was not afraid to discuss challenges with former occupations including both Nazi, Germany and USSR right after WWII. She discussed their fear of Russian aggression in the current environment with their invasion of Ukraine. She discussed Estonia government, social programs, etc. I found it interesting to hear of their mother’s incentives to allow paid time and Joe security. To address former population decline, she mentioned it was not uncommon for young mothers to have 3 children. A lot of countries could use policies like these. It was not all serious discussions as she mixed in humor and historical stories. We took this tour from a cruise ship. Transport from the ship and return after a couple hours free time were included.

We entirely enjoyed our day! Estonia has such an interesting history and Tallinn is a beautiful city. Our guide, Ingrid, was exceptional and she made sure we experienced all the highlights. She was very patient while we shopped for Amber and had fun helping us make our selections. She helped us find locally made Estonia gifts that was a priority for us. This day exceeded all our expectations!

This excursion was a highlight of our trip. Peter, our guide, did absolute awesome job explaining the history of the city/country in addition to telling us wonderful tales. We would highly recommend this tour if you only have a few hours in port.

Tallin for me was my favorite stop on a two week Scandanavian and Baltic capitals cruise. One of the most original medieval cities in Europe. Tallin is quite compact and easy to walk, recommend walking from the upper town to the lower. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, she also shared her experiences living under both communism and post Soviet government.

We really enjoyed this tour. Tallinn is a beautiful city filled with so much history. Our guide did a great job covering the history and high points of the city. We started at the top of the hill and worked our way down which was appreciated. Our transport to/from the cruise ship was prompt and reliable. Overall great experience.

We had a fantastic time exploring Tallinn with our guide, Eva Maria! We were met at the cruise terminal as instructed and travelled by small bus to the highest part of Old Tallinn. From there, we walked and explored as our guide shared the history of her city. We also had time on our own to shop and explore before being picked up and taken back to our ship.

Our tour guide was henry.That's his name in english.He was well versed in architecture and the history. He also gave fun facts and legends. He was kind and considerate too. It was our first visit to Estonia we will return.
