At time of booking, please provide us with the name of the cruise ship, the scheduled docking time and what time you wish to start your private tour. Our meeting point is at the exit gate of Tallinn cruise terminal. You will need to walk 300 meters/0.2 miles from the cruise ship to the gate. Your private guide will be standing by the gate holding a sign with your name written on it.

We had a wonderful tour of Tallinn Old Town with Maarja. She was so knowledgeable and shared the history in a really interesting and easy-to-follow way.She was also kind, patient, and genuinely cared that everyone was enjoying the tour and keeping up.
You can tell she loves what she does, and that made the experience even better. Thanks to Maarja, we learned so much and had a great time exploring Tallinn. I would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting!

Fantastic experience. Maarja was punctual, friendly, and willing to answer all of our questions (we had a lot) - everything from architecture, ancient history, to more recent history in the 80s/90s. Highly recommend.

One on the best tours ever! Our guide Li was outstanding, she is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to tour with. She spoke excellent English. We were picked up at the cruise port and dropped back off. Highly recommend this tour.

Maarja, our guide, was wonderful. We learned so much about the city and the history of Tallin. Communication was great and everything went smoothly from pick up, walking tour, and drop off. We enjoyed our day in Estonia, it was one of the highlights of our cruise.

Our original tour guide was injured but she arranged an alternate, Li. She was a local of Tallinn, Estonia Old Town & eagerly shared her experiences & knowledge with us. We, a group of four seniors thoroughly enjoyed our time with her & we also met her family which was one of many highlights. We have had good luck with Viator bookings & this tour was top notch.

It was the best day tour you could ask for. We were picked up promptly by Juri and Maarja. Coming in on a cruise ship leaves you very little time but the tour was thought out and planned perfectly. Maarja made the day very special and such a weatlh of knowledge. We will be back for a longer stay hopefully soon.

Our guide, Maarja, was perfect. She was so knowledgeable about the history, very engaging and most accommodating. Her English was excellent and easily understood. She guided us around the crowds to the interesting sites & gave excellent lunch and shop recommendations based on our interests. This tour is the best way to see Estonia - we highly recommend it!

Maarja and Juri were very knowledgable about Tallin and Estonian history. Both are Estonian natives and lived through Estonia's restored independece. They took great care in arranging our tour since it included transfers from the boat dock to the city crnter.

We had a wonderful day in Tallinn! Juri picked us up at the port in a comfortable Mercedes van, and drove us to the old town, where Maarja showed us the many delights of Tallinn. She was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed listening to her talk about her country. It was so interesting, we would love to come back some day!

Mauria was the best guide. She was knowledgeable, prepared and gave a fascinating tour. We would definitely go again on this tour. I have already recommended this tour to several friends. She met us with Urey at the ferry and they drove us to the highest part of Tallin where the tour started. We then proceeded to make our way thru Tallin. We really loved this tour and all that we learned. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Our guide was very prepared and knowledgeable. She came prepared with a timeline of Estonian history and was able to answer all of our questions. We walked through the old city and saw the beautiful architecture while we learned about the country. The town square was beautiful, the transportation and arrangements for our tour were very comfortable and organized. We had no trouble in the beautiful Mercedes van! We enjoyed the free time on our own to have a beer in a lovely street cafe. We highly recommend this tour.

Maarja was so informed and she came with props. Maarja taught us about old Europe and how it turned into modern day Europe. Our interest in how someone who lived under Soviet survived was satisfied. She explained her life before / after Soviet rule. She walked us through old Talinn and explained how everything was from "beginning" until now. We absolutely enjoyed our time with her. As we were on cruise ship time we didn't have a lot of time but Maarja somehow showed us everything we wonted to see and figured out how to give us shopping time.
I feel like I just got a taste of Estonia and because Maarja's private tour I have a desire to go back and maybe stay for a few day to see more. I would definitely use her for a longer tour if I did.

Fabulous tour with Maarja Laiapea with Saku Travel. Excellent value for tour. Maarja really made our family feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the city. It was so nice to have our own personal tour guide. We were very happy with pickup and drop off at the port. She recommended a delicious restaurant for lunch and even made reservations for us. After lunch she met us at meeting spot and we were taken back to the port, so nice to not have to worry about transportation. Truly a wonderful time!
