Wholeheartedly Recommend!!!

pmarie, Aug 2025
Arthur did a fantastic job! We thoroughly enjoyed his extensive knowledge and thoughtful commentary. He was very professional and amiable. Adapted to the limit mobility issues of 2 of our group.

Had a great time

Alex_T, Jun 2025
We had a fabulous guide who took us around modern Tallin in a car and explained the more modern history of the city. Even took us to certain areas not planned like a house built by Peter the Great in the 1700’s. Then we had a long walk through the upper and lower old city. She was very knowledgeable. And we had a great time

A Fantastic Experience!

Paulita_S, Jan 2025
Our Private Tour in Tallinn was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our wonderful guide, Anastacia. She was not only knowledgeable but also had a warm, pleasant personality that made the tour enjoyable from start to finish. Anastacia drove us safely and made sure to tailor the itinerary to our interests, even going out of her way to include a visit to the stunning Jägala Waterfall. Despite the change in plans, she still ensured we got to see all the must-see sights in Tallinn’s Old Town. We also appreciated her excellent recommendation for a charming coffee spot in the Old Town, which added a nice touch to our day. We're so glad we opted for the private tour and felt incredibly lucky to have Anastacia as our guide. Her flexibility, professionalism, and local insight truly made our visit to Tallinn memorable. Highly recommend!

Dear Paulita! thank you for the review. Yes, we are flexible and always know how to impress our guests. Wishing you many wonderful trips in the future and always happy to see you in Tallinn again!

This tour was only ok. It consisted of a lot of driving and viewing several landmarks from the car. I'd recommend selecting a few places outside of Tallinn that you really would like to see / hear about and focus on those. Otherwise, you'll find yourself doing drive-bys minimizing your experience of the locations. That said, our guide Arthur was incredibly knowledgeable of the city, history, economics, and geopolitics which leads to a 4-star versus a 3-star rating.

Response from Host, Jan 2025

Thank you for your feedback. We always use the most experienced guides for our tours. As for the out of Tallinn sites, we do have several tours that's taking you to the nature and countryside outside the city. Next time you are in Tallinn, I suggest booking a tour to the North-western cost which displays a variety of natural and historical wonders

VERY ENJOYABLE TOUR OF TALLINN

Helen_B, Oct 2024
Ramon was extremely knowledgeable about Estonian history and you could hear the pride in his voice of is country. He was very courteous and caring of where we walked, especially when it started to rain. He drove us around the newer part of the city and then we walked in the old part. We enjoyed a coffee & chat together to give us a rest from the walking. He also indicated on a map of places we would find interesting to look at when the tour finished and during the next day. He kindly took us to our hotel and made sure that was marked on the map as well. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting an up close & personal visit to Tallinn.

Quality One on One Tour - Once it started

Bob_F, Sep 2024
The tour was vary informative and our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. HOWEVER, despite multiple email confirmations about pickup time and place with one guide, he failed to show up. After making a couple of calls (done by a security guard at our cruise port since Estonian is not a language I am familiar with) to the tour operator, another guide was dispatched. The result was we started this tour slightly over one hour late. We did get the full tour experience however.

Tallinn for beginners!

marino_b, Aug 2024
The guide picked us up at the pier in a car, very clean and comfortable. He was very knowledgeable of Tallinn’s history and very willing to share it. We enjoyed every minute and we highly recommend it.

Relaxing and Personalized Tour that Shows the Best of Tallinn!

Sharah_K, Jul 2024
We had a lovely and relaxing getting to know the wonderful city of Tallinn. The itinerary was perfect and the tour was a nice amount of time to see the best sights of the city. Our tour guide, Arthur, was just amazing. He was engaging and informative. We learned so much about Tallinn and Estonia from him. We left thinking that Estonia is such a clean country with resilient and unique people!

Not many positives

Steven_B, Jun 2024
Too much information given about too few things. Saw much more exploring on our own time. Guide was difficult to understand. Our auto portion of the tour was quite short only venturing to the local park, walking into entrance of museum and by the presidents house. No real city tour included. Very disappointing overall

Great Guide and Wonderful Tour

Terry_B, Apr 2024
Our guide, Katrina, was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. Highly recommend her as a guide!!

Excellent knowledge of history!!

Mindy_S, Feb 2024
We covered a lot of ground, Peter the Great Palace, beach area, upper Tallinn, lower Tallinn.. Anastasia was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating We learned a lot about the Estonia people, the history and contemporary Estonia!!

Fantastic experience

Sonja_R, Feb 2024
The whole time I got well looked after, shown places of interest with my guide having great knowledge of the history of each place

3 hour City tour Tallin (w/Dimitry)

Kevin_Q, Oct 2023
2 of us went on a 3 hour City tour with guide, Dimitry. From the moment we met him in our hotel lobby, until we said goodbye in Old Town Tallin, Dimitri was professional, courteous, funny and exceptionally knowledgeable. We left the tour feeling smarter and better for having spent our afternoon with Dimitry. We HIGHLY recommend. 👍🏻

Great tour

Michel_K, Aug 2023
Maria was a great guide. I feel after our 3 hour tour we can now explore the city ourselves so much better with everything we learned.

We had a wonderful tour...

Mary_G, Aug 2023
We had a wonderful tour guide Davinia (spelling?). She made the trip so good and went out of her way to accommodate our friend with a disability. She was a fountain of information regarding Tallinn and it's history. She made our tour a success despite the company's failure to provide us with transportation from the cruise ship. She personally arranged Ubers and taxis to complete our tour. She was an all-star!

Guide seemed rushed and ended our tour early

Melanie_H, Jul 2023
As they say, the guide will make or break your tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fluent in English, but she talked very fast and seem to rush around, even ending our tour 30 minutes early. While her information was very factual, it was not very personable. There were no stories told, only facts. She was there to pick us up at the port, and easy to find. However, as a guide should do, she never asked us if we had any questions, never asked for our input on what we wanted to see, or if we wanted to deviate from the planned tour, and she never offered to take our photos unless we specifically requested her to do so. It felt as if she were following a script, and was trying to get through the entire thing quickly. We had to ask to go inside a church, which seemed it should have been part of the tour anyway. I didn’t know what “we will drive around in a bus on the first half of the tour” meant as stated in the description, but she drove us around in her car to see things that were not in old town. The tour itself was very nice, as we got to see a lot of things, but again we felt rushed around, and ending early & abruptly left us a little befuddled. A private tour is definitely the way to go to see a lot quickly here, but I’m not sure I would recommend this guide.

Response from Host, Aug 2023

Dear Melanie, Yes, the guide got confused the end time of the tour and finished 30 min earlier. You needed just to remind the guide of the tour duration and she would have done it. Next time you are in Tallinn, please reach out and we will offer you any tour from our list with a good discount.

Great tour of a beautiful city

Tammy_R, Jul 2023
What a great experience! Anastasia was an excellent guide filled with historical and current information. She took us all around Tallinn (Old Town and city) for a fun and insightful morning. We highly recommend this very informative tour.

Estonia

Linda_D, Jun 2023
Maria was an excellent guide. The downside was the car was much too small for 4 passengers. We were like sardines. Extremely uncomfortable!

Response from Host, Jun 2023

Dear Linda, thank you for your feedback and kind words about the guide and tour. As for the car, it had 4 seats for 4 passengers, if you'd let us know in advance that for 4 of you, you like to have more than 4 seats, we would have rented a van for a modest extra fee. Besides of that, the rides between stops were not more than 10 minutes

Tallin a great melting pot

georgepthomasmd, Jun 2023
Anastasia Raja our guide was excellent Knowledgeable articulate and educated us about Estonia, its history and pride of their achievements. We thoroughly enjoyed her company

Amazing tour with Stan

Michael_A, Dec 2022
We had an amazing tour of town and Kadriorg Park with our guide, Stan. We really enjoyed hearing stories delivered with a lot of enthusiasm and he was also careful with pace to help out my older mother. We took the tram to Kadriorg but stopped at a donut shop along the way to try a donut and get some coffee. Around Kadriorg, Stan did a driving tour. It was a great day!

I must book!

Jeffrey_T, Aug 2022
Mati gave an amazing experience. We had no idea of the rich history and the tracing back to Medieval times. This was a private four hour tour. 2 hours driving and exploring and 2 hours walking the charming old town. Trust me when I say this is a must do and it is a true bargain!

Brenda O, Feb 2016
Dimitri was very knowledgeable and took us to all the must see places and some many would never see by following the guides. He made the day very enjoyable despite the fact it was raining and icy.

Vladimir was our guide...

Marta_R, May 2025
Vladimir was our tour guide and speaks excellent Spanish; he is an excellent guide, he has a very broad knowledge of the whole city of Tallinn. He told me about a sweet, Plavlova, who created the Russian dancer Anna Pavlova and is delicious, also provides the marzipan and is sensational.... we really had a lot of fun while listening to all the stories of the city of Tallinn, I LOVE IT!!!!!!
