This is the second time we had this picnic and we again enjoyed it a lot. It is such a convenient and enjoyable experience to have. And the food was great just like the first time. Our favourite was the Pandan lava cake!

There was no service at all. Our box didn’t even have cutlery and it does not look as it is advertised. Felt like we were scammed. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The box should cost $15. Worst of the worst.

Best Picnic Ever

The food was amazing, full of flavour and plenty for the 2 of us. Wine was perfect. As it was raining on the day we had our picnic the staff were kind enough to let us sit in the dining room to enjoy it. Absolutely would recommend doing this experience The only tiny negative was it was hard to find the restaurant in the gardens.

It would’ve been a much better experience if the address would’ve been more clearly spelled out - we walked the gardens for over 90 minutes, trying to find where we picked up our basket even the gardens security guards didn’t know what we were talking about . Once we got there, we had to wait 20 minutes for our basket. If Viator would have stayed it was at the ‘restaurant’ would have saved time and grievance.

The food was great, there was tons of food included, and the service was excellent. The only thing I wish I would have been aware of is that you can easily bring your own food into the gardens and have a picnic. Entrance to the gardens is free and there are many cafes and shops nearby where we could have gotten something less expensive. The vegetarian dumplings were the best we’ve ever had, although we ordered those in addition to our picnic box (note that we did not need to order additional items, as the amount included in the booking was more than adequate). The included dessert was also phenomenal! The restaurant that provides the picnic lunch has a wonderful al la carte menu and does accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences without issue for both the picnic and individually ordered dishes.

The picnic in the Botanical Gardens was exceptional. We had great weather, fantastic views & scenery and the picnic lunch was unique and very tasty. It was well thought out and the choice of wine was a nice touch.
