This tour was even better than I expected. The tour is well organized yet very relaxed, you never feel rushed. The guide Dave is friendly and knowledgeable, the snacks and bottled water is a nice addition. But the most impressive thing is the animal encounter, seeing bats in the wild in big numbers flying around, climbing trees or chilling together was amazing, the good provides you with a camera and binoculars to make this even better. Book this tour, itâs totally worth it!

If you love bats or are interested and seeing them up close and learning about them this is the tour for you. I've been on a lot of excursions and Dave was easily one of the nicest tour guides! Very personable, gave us recommendations on other things to do in Sydney, and even offered us water and snacks. He took pictures and videos of us surrounded by bats and even showed us some other gems and the surrounding area free at costs! Highly recommended, 5 âď¸ âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸

I booked this tour because I am an avid wildlife watcher, and it sounded very different from experiences I've had elsewhere. I've never been a big fan of bats, but even so, this was a phenomenal morning out the day after Perfect Day Sydney's kangaroo and wombat tour, also highly recommended!
Dave, the funniest New Zealander/Aussie this side of Guy Montgomery, picked me up at my hotel then drove our group across the iconic harbor bridge to a fascinating suburban flying fox colony. He promised we would see "at least 50," and there were thousands in this urban jungle. Our small group spent about an hour walking the paths around the colony, getting great photos and videos of bat behavior.
On the way back to the CBD, we stopped at the harbor for an amazing panoramic view of Sydney--opera house, bridge, skyline, quay, and even a visiting cruise ship. It was well worth the time and money. I am thrilled to have been able to experience these tours and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for unique, authentic fun while in Sydney.

I assumed these bats would be rare to see but they were everywhere and in plain sight. Our tour guide had a professional camera and shared amazing photos with our group. Iâll definitely do this tour again.

Dave was very friendly and knowledgeable and was good enough to pick me up from my accommodation which saved me an Uber trip and dropped me off on Darling harbour ready for my next excursion. The bats or flying foxes were great to see, much bigger than I thought and was good to see them flying around. He also knew about the other wildlife including spiders etc and when I return to Sydney, I will do the other tour with the kangaroos and wombats., just not enough time on this trip. Thanks for all the photos at the end which you sent to everyone Dave, much better the ones I took. Interesting trip.

This is an amazing experience to see bats that are migrated in a actual neighborhood and not an enclosure and also you will never see this anywhere else

Fantastic trip! Got to see hundreds of flying foxes and took some amazing pictures. A big thank you to Dave who was very knowledgable about the flying foxes and provided us with snacks and softdrinks when we got back to the car :) 100% recommend to anyone who is interested in wildlife and is looking for a trip that doesn't take up the whole day.

Fun experience to see a colony of flying foxes. You get to seen them very close and the guide also provided binoculars and camera as well as providing photos taken with a telephoto lens. Great trip that is close to Sydney and well worth seeing.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!!! Seeing this majestic flying foxes in their natural habitat was nothing short of unbelievable. Our tour guide Dave knew exactly where to find them and even gave us fancy cameras to take photos with. Great experience. If you are in Sydney this is a must.

Here is your opportunity to see something you might never see again! Fruit bats in the wild! Dave was a splendid guide and driver offering drinks and snacks and plenty of interesting information. He took the time to take fabulous photos and send them to us at the end of the tour! Great time!

We took this tour on a whim and it ended up being one of our favorite things we did in Sydney! Dave was friendly and knowledgeable and connected well with all of the guests. We also got to see a few native birds which was a great bonus. Getting to take pictures with his cameras was a treat and he dropped us off right back at our airbnb at the end. Highly recommend!

We got out of the city for a morning to see the largest bats in Australia. There were tons of them and Dave gave us reflex cameras to have great memories from the experience!

Dave is an amazing tour guide who knows where to find wildlife. This small tour (11 I believe) took us to see a massive colony of giant bats that were surprisingly active in the middle of the day. They were interacting with each other and making lots of noise. Occasionally some flew through the sky, truly a site to behold with their massive wingspan. Dave provided us with lots of interesting facts and fielded questions in knowledgeable manner. He had snacks and drinks for us. After the tour he offered to drop us off where we wanted or back at the hotel. This is an excellent tour and a fascinating way to spend a few hours. Thanks for another perfect day!

So awesome! Just a short drive out of the city and you see active bats in their habitat. Not one or two⌠hundreds! Dave was an awesome guide and helped us out with his own professional cameras and binoculars to use. Afterwards it connects to your phone and you download the pictures to it. Well thought out and one of a kind fun adventure I would recommend to anyone coming to Sydney!

Excellent experience! Worth it for the ride through town to the bat colony and the knowledge of the guide, Dave. In addition you get access to binoculars and great quality cameras for photos you will not get from your phone. Dave makes sure to get the photos downloaded to your device before you leave. And he had great refreshment options on the way back to the drop off. Totally worth the money. I highly recommend this trip.

Dave was a great guide and delivered us a wonderful afternoon with bats! He was friendly and knowledgeable. The cameras that he provided were great and we got a lot of high quality pics. Cheers Seb, yeah these flying foxes are definitely super close plus you can get eye level to capture epic photos. The White Ibis having young in the nest at the moment, and brush turkeys are always about.
