Explore the beautiful Lysefjord, a 26-mile (42-km) fjord flanked by mountains, aboard a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on this tour from Stavanger. Brilliant guy driving the rib. Very informative great music! Pity didn’t see any dolphins but well worth the money and what a way to see the fjords. Stunning even in the rain! X

Exciting ride on a boat well equipped for maximum enjoyment and safety. Really fun adventure. Wonderful way to experience the beauty of the fjord. Captain and crew were knowledgeable and informative. They were well-organized.

Experience was as described.
It was taken as a pre booked excursion from a cruise ship port stop.
Boat tours (in general) were well signposted from the cruise port and a 5-10 minute walk.
Meeting point was not clearly identifiable as 3 - 4 operators use the same dock side. Found correct location by showing booking to operators until we got the correct one.
Waterproof suits and gloves are provided along with goggles.
The journey from the port to the stop points is across open sea (20 - 25 minutes) which was quite rough and 'bumpy' on our trip.
Sufficient time is given at each stop to take photos.
Once the stops are completed the return to port is back across the open sea.
We enjoyed the trip. Once we had found the operator, the trip was well organised and well executed.
The guide was knowledgeable and proficient in handling the rib.

Booked this trip with my husband for our stop on our cruise in Stavanger it was a 5 minute walk from cruise terminal easy to find the company was fabulous you are provided with wet suits and gloves and we went up the fjord in the RIB was soooo much fun we loved it would definitely recommend Alexander was fabulous it’s a must to do if you visit Stavanger thank you 🤩

This was the most fun my group had on our cruise!

The ride out to the fjord was longer than expected and rough waves but we had a great time and saw some beautiful sights in the fyord once we got there. Axel was exceptional and a great driver. He answered all our questions and gave us lots of info. Great fun for the most part except for the length of time to get to and from the smooth fyord waters.

Absolutely fantastic ride. Amazing scenery and really exciting riding over the waves. Our captain and guide Axl was really informative and put us at ease. We loved his playlist too which added to the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this company.

From start to finish this experience was professionally run by a fun, friendly, informative and safety conscious team. All equipment was provided beforehand and our pilot Eirik made sure that we got the best out of the ride.
Whilst normally you hope for good weather on a trip for this ride you'll get the best out of it if it's windy and the sea itself is a little bit rough as this enhances the thrill of going over the waves. Despite it being quite calm we all had a fabulous time and arrived back exhilarated after speeding across the water and taking in the fabulous views of the fjords from sea level.
Would highly recommend you take this opportunity to experience this thrill of a ride if you're in Stavanger.

Highly recommend! Eric was the best captain. Great thrill and also got the see Pulpit rock and whiskey falls in a short time. Perfect if the weather isn't brilliant because you stay dry with the dry suit and goggles
