Justin was a great Tour Guide. He was knowledgeable about the plant life and the marine life. He took us snorkeling and described all the different fish and made sure that we got to swim with sea turtles. When we went kayaking, he took us around and described the marine life. He even brought lunch for us with beach chairs to sit out and watch the beach. Lots of little thoughtful touches and really enjoyed this tour would absolutely recommend again.

We were only in St. Thomas for a few hours on a cruise ship stop, and this was the perfect way to spend it. Our guide Sven is very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He was very chill and asked what we were interested in, so he took the time to tell us about the trees, termites, and spiders. When we snorkeled with the turtles, Sven knew what to look for in the water to find us several turtles to observe. Snorkeling with the turtles was as amazing as we'd expected. He offered options for the kayaking locations based on our level of adventurousness, and was really good at reading our energy level. Lunch was included which hit the spot without making us feel overly full before kayaking. As my family's photographer, I am often not in many pictures, so I really appreciate that Sven was taking photos with his GoPro of both the turtles and us, and the photos were emailed to us a few days later. He stayed conscious of the time to get all the adventure in without feeling rushed, and get us back to our ship on time. Highly recommend this individualized small group tour!

Had an amazing experience snorkeling and kayaking. Our guide Sven was terrific. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local plant and wildlife.
The snorkeling was everything we could have wanted it to be. We saw at least 8 separate sea turtles, tarpon, barracuda, and various rays and beautiful tropical fish.
The off-road excursion to a secluded beach for lunch and kayaking added a feeling of adventure to an already exciting trip.
I would highly recommend this trip.

We had a group of 4 women. One had never snorkeled or been in a kayak. Our guide, Sven, clearly communicated and helped make our trip amazing! Sven was knowledgeable about sea life, trees, and the island's history. We saw 4 sea turtles, an octopus, sea urchin, sting ray, and a barracuda! I would highly recommend this adventure for all ages and experience levels.

Our experience was awesome! Our guide, Sven, was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to make sure we had and enjoyable experience. We were treated to information about St Thomas, from plant life to the history of the islands and it’s surroundings. We also saw lots of marine life and, of course, several sea turtles. This was a wonderful tour and we would definitely do it again!

We did this event for my son's 16th birthday. It was just him and I, and our guide, Sven. Sven was very helpful and informative and we had a great day! He took us to a beach where we saw at least 5 sea turtles, many fish and a sting ray.

Michelle was very knowledgeable and we got to see sea turtles, an array of fish, and a stingray. She also told us about the trees on the beach and the fruits that grew on them. We even got to try a few! Great experience.

This was a fantastic excursion. This was our first trip to the island and the first thing we did when we got there. Sven was very knowledgeable in the history of the island and about the surrounding islands and waters. He is an expert in all areas of this event. He showed us many different wildlife, the season turtles, octopus, lobster. We even got lucky enough to kayak next to 2 hump back whales. This was a trip and an experience that we will never forget!

Our family (13 people) enjoyed a private snorkeling tour with Michelle and Sven! We cannot say enough about the experience. Both Michelle and Sven are so nice, accommodating
and knowledgeable. We had a couple "nervous swimmers" and Michelle took them out and made them feel totally comfortable with the process. The snorkeling spot was beautiful and we saw so many fish and sea turtles. Michelle and Sven even took underwater photos for us! They also provided a tasty lunch! And for those in our group who were interested, Sven took them on an informative nature walk--he truly knows the area including the plants and creatures! Thank you so much Michelle and Sven, our family had a GREAT time!

This tour was the highlight of our 9 days in the VI. We were picked up at our hotel by Michelle. She and her husband Sven run this tour. We took the Ferry to Water Island. They take small groups, so reserve early. They had great equipment and made sure we understood how to use it for novices like me! We saw many turtles. NO fins and we wore life jackets to assure we stay on top of the water so we didn't disturb them. Great beach side lunch and the history of Water Island was very interesting. I love snorkeling now and can't wait to go back.

We got this excursion because Pam wanted to swim with the turtles. It turned out to be so much more. We met Michelle in front of Tickles Restaurant on St Thomas as planned. She was right on time. Michelle got us on a ferry boat to Water Island. Then we walked back to a quiet beach. During the walk, she explained the different plants and trees. She told us of the people who live on Water Island, and how they live. We got to the beach, and had lunch. It was wonderful. Cooked on a gas grill and the salads were great. I had a large Hot Dog, with all the trimmings. Cole Slaw was yummy. Michelle then explained the how to's of snorkeling to us beginners. Then for 2 1/2 hours in the water, showed us everything from Turtles, Sting Rays, colorful marine life, to a 4 foot Barracuda she called Barry.
This was a perfect trip because of Michelle's patience with us, and her knowledge of the ocean. She took all kinds of photos with her professional underwater camera and will send them to us. Thank You Michelle for all the time you spent with us. Just a note: Michelle went above and beyond to help my family do this excursion. We will never forget her for that.

This was an outstanding tour. Our guide Sven, was very knowledgeable. On the walking part of the tour we learned about the flota and fauna of the area. When we got to,the bay, we snorkels up and entered the water. We saw turtles almost immediately. We also saw numerous fish. Sven couldn't have been more gracious

Great day with the turtles! Our guides Sven and Pam were great . The tour is a small group tour , only 4people on ours so the guides can give one on one attention with instructions and pointing out turtles and fish . The lunch was good , we were surprised we got to pick from a menu because so many times you have to take your chances with what the host picks for you . Food was cooked fresh right on the beach . We saw a lot of turtles and fish and got some great photos. So glad we went on this excursion. Definitely recommend this tour .

A great tour. Our party of 4 adults and 5 kids had a marvelous time. The vendor promptly answered my questions regarding tour policies pre-tour. Michelle met us at the designated location exactly on time. We took a jitney from that point to water taxi to Water Island where we walked a short way to the beach, which was not at all crowded. En route, Michelle and her assistant regaled us with Island history and flora identification. The kids were especially delighted with the small lime-like fruit growing along the road that was a little sweet and tart. Lunch at Heidi's was delicious--the burgers were at least a 1/2 pound and the fish tacos were excellent. Michelle provided instruction on snorkel use and proper wearing of life jacket. I was sure my life jacket was plenty tight, but she cinched it up even more, and I'm glad she did. We snorkeled for an hour and a half and saw numerous turtles, some saw a barracuda and baby octopus, and we held a sea cucumber, which we all agreed was pretty disgusting. The kids, age 8-13 were absolutely thrilled by the entire experience. Michelle and Juco, her assistant, answered our questions, checked on how we were all doing and searched for things for us to see. We had several first-time snorkelers in the group and both leaders checked on them regularly to ensure they weren't having any issues. I highly recommend this tour with this provider.

This tour was epic! Our guide Devin was incredibly knowledgeable about Water Island and its history. In addition to swimming with the turtles INCREDIBLE, by the way!, he also helped us find other neat creatures, including a sea cucumber! After our snorkel, we had a great lunch at Heidi's highly recommend the fish tacos. Devin cracked open a coconut to share with the group, too! Highly recommended....can't wait to receive our photos from the day!

Great tour! My mom and I did the walking tour while my dad and husband did the kayak tour. We met up on the beach for lunch and snorkeling in a quiet bay with sea turtles. We even saw 2 nurse sharks not harmful to humans.... Jo and Sven took photos of both groups and sent them to us for FREE - what a great surprise! One word of caution - the kayak journey isn't for the faint of heart!

We just adored this trip and our guides. It was a nice intimate experience - we felt like we had a private lesson! The sea turtles were beautiful and did not disappoint! The ocean kayak experience was definitely intense and physically demanding, but we always felt safe with Michelle and Sven and felt like we got our workout in for the day and maybe a few more after that too, haha!. Highly recommend this experience for a physically active adventurer!

Jo and Michelle were our guides and I can't say enough nice things about them. They were so accommodating to my family and willing to answer any questions about anything we had. Very personable. Gave us some good information about the history and features of Water Island. As far as the actual excursion, it advertised swimming with sea turtles and that's what we got to do after a scenic water taxi ride over to the island. The beach burger joint was great too. Was a great outing for our first trip to the USVI. They even took pictures for us. I am still waiting on those though.

Wow! This is the best excursion of not just this cruise, but of the previous two cruises as well. Our guide Sven was so pleasant and paitient, making sure we were comfortable in the kayak and with our snorkeling gear before moving on. What a surprise that the photos and video were included in the price. That NEVER happens on excursions. There were 40 photos and 2 videos posted on Facebook that we could then use. Even went out of their way to pick us up at another dock when we went there in error. Great experience from beginning to end.
