Top St Thomas Private Sightseeing Tours

We had THE BEST time touring the island. Jordan was an AMAZING guide and ensured we were on the right path and that we saw all of the must see spots on the island. Do yourself a favor and book this excursion. The service and experience were too notch. The restaurant selection for lunch was so cute and the food was delicious.

If I could give this more stars I would! Scott is the owner/operator and the absolute best. He contacted me just prior to arrival, gave me a description of who I was looking for, and wait for it… was early. He was very pleasant and professional in the beginning, but within 30 mins was like we had known him for ages. He is a very comfortable person to be around. Scott made sure to show us everything. We saw an overlook with a few very wonderful vendors and a man with his donkey allowing everyone to take pictures with it. One of the vendors was selling jewelry made by his daughter that was beautiful! Scott pointed out blackbeards castle, and a few other really neat places from the top… and some iguanas. Another place of great interest was the mountain top with the world’s best banana daiquiri and some great souvenir shopping. We also went to a private out of the way beach, where we were the only ones! It was beautiful. We saw Drakes seat and Scott told us the history of it and also went to a “locals” beach where we did some snorkeling. We were lucky enough to spot some sea turtles, stingrays, coral and fish. Also, got to watch a couple planes take off. Scott provided us with the snorkel gear, pool noodles, a mat to sit on, some chairs to relax in some water and some of the best rum punch I have ever had! Kudos to his fiancé, as he said she was the mastermind behind the recipe! Afterwards Scott was kind enough to take us on a bit of a side trip to Blackbeards Castle where we purchased more rum then we should have after being able to sample it ALL… it was home brewed by the gentleman selling it and is amazing! Words cannot fully explain how amazing the day was, nor can they fully express how great of a guy Scott is! He is the epitome of an amazing business owner. The company he is running is top notch and I wouldn’t want to use another company and wouldn’t recommend a different excursion or tour. A four hour tour felt like it was an all day thing and when he dropped us back off at the port, I was sad to leave.

Our tour guide was Jonica and she was incredible! I had a last minute request to switch the time of our tour and Jonica was kind enough to accommodate us. She was well informed about the island’s history and gave great recommendations of areas worth visiting. We drove to several lookout spots with stunning views from different vantage points. We made a stop at Mountain Top for the views, famous banana daiquiri and of course souvenir shopping. We passed by Fort Christian, Hotel 1829 and took a detour into Blackbeards Castle. Cool spot with a pool, cabanas, outdoor games, view and a bar with fantastic music. It cost $15 for adult entrance and kids are free, you get a complimentary drink ticket. Lastly, Magens Beach was peaceful and tranquil. The waters were clear and warm. Plenty of fish, seagulls and pelicans to keep you company. I recommend this tour especially if you don’t feel comfortable driving the windy and steep roads on St. Thomas. We got to see a ton in four hours.
