An Incredible Experience! May or may not see much wildlife. Just depends on any particular night. However the experience is amazing. First time my wife kayaked and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We really liked our two guides.

OUTSTANDING!! Paul and Sean were terrific. Paul was so knowledgeable and gave so many details about the marine life; while including some hilarious humor and knowing all the best spots. He truly knows how to be a tour guide and make people feel welcomed, have fun, and learn all the while. We saw so many terrapins, stingrays, and even turtles. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

It was a lot of fun, our tour guide pointed out quite a few fish and a ray and found us a few turtles to see. They also shined a flashlight to show us the jumping fish.

Its a float on a boat trip, not much kayaking

This isn't a kayaking trip, more over float around the dock and look for turtles, stingrays and fish with the guide's flashlight. I was very disappointed looking at kayaking excursions with other companies who had lighted bottom boats, headlights and actually kayaked the coast of the island and had a decent length route and trip. When we left the dock I was wondering why we were waiting and if I were to start paddling. The owner and guide were very nice since we were the only couple to book that 830pm slot and feel like we were cut short by about 20-30 minutes. If you're a first time kayaker, this may be a good way to learn, else I'd look for another company to book with as they are cheaper and go further around the island. Between the 150 ticket price for 2, 60 dollar around trip in the taxi and 20 dollar tip, its not worth 230 dollars unless you are staying right at the Marriott property. I usually do not write bad reviews but this was the most disappointing part of our short trip.

It was very cool to see the marine life and go kayaking at night. We had a good time. There was some confusion about each of us wanting an individual kayak. I would just make sure you book each kayak separately so the operators know you don’t want to be paired with another person—or optionally the operators should have a booking option for solo versus paired kayaks.

The guide was nice and knowledgeable about the fish,rays, turtles, etc. but we saw little of these until our time was almost up. We told the guide we were hearing impaired and thought she would accommodate us by letting us be closer or by talking louder. We missed a good portion of what she said. The guide said light drew the creatures, but the light she had was a regular flashlight that gave an unimpressive amount of light. The other company that operated a similar tour had glow lights and a more powerful light and seemed to be seeing much more than we did. We did see jumping fish and some fish and rays at the end, but overall it was disappointing.

Paul worked well with us given the differences in experience. I think my wife learned a lot about piloting a kayak. Paul knew where to go to attract sea life and enhance our experience, and he paced the tour very well. We ended up with a private tour, but I know Paul would have worked well with a larger group.
