What To Expect
Start by meeting your guide and listening to a short orientation and safety briefing.
Get set up with your tandem kayak and snorkeling equipment, then launch into the warm, clear waters. Your guide provides kayaking lessons, if needed, and coaches you along the way to your destination.
When you reach your destination, a pristine beach where the sea turtles like to hang out, sink into a lounge chair and cool off with a refreshing drink. After a short rest, slip on your snorkeling equipment and follow your guide into the water to snorkel and view the turtles as they find their lunch in the seagrass beds.
Sit down for lunch at the beach (gluten-free and vegetarian options available) before paddling back to your starting point.

- Transportation is from Emerald Beach Resort.
- A minimum of 2 guests is required per booking.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Minimum age is 5 years. All participants must know how to swim, be able to walk on uneven surfaces and be able to climb into an off road vehicle. Children ages 9 and under must kayak with an adult.
- Maximum participant weight for an individual is 225 pounds. Maximum weight for for tandem (double kayak) is 425 pounds (total for both participants).
- Near public transportation
- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time and cell phone number
- Not recommended for participants with back/shoulder/wrist problems, heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Please note that 20% gratuity is due on the day of the tour in cash for groups of 5 or more
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Bring cash if you want to purchase a photo package (above and underwater $40). Bookings of 5 or more may have two guides ($40 per guide).

Our tour guide Conner was amazing. He spent time explaining some interesting facts about the flora and fauna on the island. The snorkel spot was fantastic and we saw turtles, tons of fish, stingrays, starfish and jellyfish.
Kayaking can be a little challenging depending on the waves but Conner stayed right with us and was fine to let us set our pace.
Would highly recommend.

We had great expectations when booking this trip, but we had no idea that our expectations would be exceeded to such a great extent. Conner was such a joy to work with. He was very informative & went the extra mile to make sure that our day was spent learning about the island, being knowledgeable regarding sea creatures, and ensuring that we felt comfortable and safe the entire day. We have amazing pictures and videos to commemorate our experience. By the end of the excursion, it felt like we had been with family. We give Conner two thumbs up, a five star rating, and look forward to the next time we’re in St. Thomas. We will specifically ask for him!

We had a great time in this tour. Sven was informative and cared for our safety. We snorkeled first at a public local beach and then to kayaks. Kayaks were alittle more bouncy with waves then the kids liked so we did it for less time. The snorkeling is some of the best I’ve done in the Caribbean. I have been to about 10 islands and this one was on top. We saw squid, octopus, many fish, sea turtles, and a sting ray. All in a natural setting. He did not feed them. They were just there living. I enjoyed that part the most. Highly recommended tour

Very friendly, amazing pictures! They make the whole experience about you! The kyacking was easier then we expected and we got to see so much! We saw turtles and a stingray, squid and schools of fish. We highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed! :)

We had a great time on this excursion. We were a party of three, so my husband and son had a boat, and I paddled with one of our guides. One other couple on our tour had some difficulty with the kayaking, and our guide Steve was very patient and supportive of them. On the way back, our other guide, Sven, towed them the entire way. Over and above, in my opinion. The kayaking was beautiful along the coastline of St. Thomas. As indicated properly in the description, it is a long paddle and you should be in decent shape to try it. Snorkeling with the turtles was incredible! The water is crystal clear, and they are just hanging out in the bay, munching on grass. they do surface right next to you just like the pictures! Even lunch on the beach was great, best hamburger we've had in a long time! Well done, Sven and Steve!!
