Great Day Trip! Our guide Ivanka was so friendly, cheerful and helpful. People in Croatia are very passionate about their country and their history and very nice to tourist. The ride to Dubrovnik is long but the views are amazing! The walking tour was great and so the free time you have after it. Totally worth it to see as much as possible when in Croatia!

The Oyster Taste could be...

The Oyster Taste could be removed to save time. Its a bit odd to stop in another place just for it. The rest was fine ;-)

Description of the tour was a bit misleading

Bus driver got us to our destination safely. The tour guide Tin was informative and did a great job managing our tour group and was informative. There was no free WiFi on the bus like it said in the description. The tour was only about 45-60 minutes (not 90 like described) and the walk around the city walls was not included (Additional 40 euro per person on site). The description of the tour was very misleading about the oysters, the oyster tasting was an additional 15 Euro charge per person for 2 or 3 of them which we opted out of.

The Trogir tour didnt...

The Trogir tour didnt start at 9 00. When I got to the meeting spot the sign said it was for 8 30. I would like a refund!

The tour wa okay. The tour guide was good, however, it seems like the information was not sufficient. It was very limited. Also, the oyster tasting was awful. It was very expensive and a waste of time. We could’ve spend the time in Dubrovnik instead of going to that oyster place and spend €12 for 3 small oysters and a glass of wine.

The tour was good. The guide made several stops and too much information shared that cannot be consumed in short span of time. Lots of time was wasted due this which we couldn't explore the city and culture within the time frame. But he was a great person.

Never use Grey line again

Adriana from Grey line convinced me of taking other Tous with them instead of the ones I bought from you. Finally I decided to take again the tour to Dubrovnik but they switched me to Plitvice lakes. The guide left me in the restrooms and I was lost for 50 minutes. I am 60 years old and my pressure went up. He never apologized and when he came to the office he treated me very bad. He fired me from the there and when I reacted he yelled to me and I pushed him in his chest. He called the police and I had to pay a 200 dollars fine for defending from him. If I was you I would use other tour operators never use Grey line again. Croatia for me was the worst trip I have done in my whole life just because of using grey line.

Terrible experience

I had three trips with this agency and in two I had no problem, but with the tour to Dubrovnik, purchased through the Viator app, the rules were not the same and I lost more than 70 USD and a day of travel. The itinerary of this tour indicates that THE DEPARTURE TIME from Trogir is at 06:30, with a prior CHECK-IN 20 minutes before. I understand that departure time and check-in time are two different things, there is a reason why they have different schedules. But my surprise is that when I arrived at their offices at 06:17 there was no one, I contacted the supplier and they informed me that the bus had already left at 06:15 and not at 06:30 as the itinerary on Viator reported. Seeing that I did not arrive 20 minutes early, they decided to change the established departure time and left 15 minutes early and without even contacting me. It seems irresponsible and unserious on the part of this agency to indicate several schedules and consider the one that most favors them, affecting the passenger. On the other two tours I had no problem with the departure time, even on one of them the departure was later than scheduled.

Borat (Boran) was our guide and he was fantastic. He would just talk on the long ride south with history and geography and cultural knowledge sprinkle in some humour and present knowledge. This is the worst in 8 tours I joined in Croatia

I joined the tour because I though an informative walking tour in Dubrovnik would be provided, as a value added to transporting to Dubrovnik. But it was not as I expected. I decided to join another tour to explore Dubrovnik. I should have taken buses to Dubrovnik, not joining this tour.

Good day trip

It's a long 11 hours day trip, 3 hours each way, 5 hours in Dubrovnik. Best part of the trip was Walk the Wall in Dubrovnik, less people, great views. Overall it's a good trip.

AC not cooling well nor WiFi working

WiFi and air conditioner were not working on the bus. WiFi worked for only 20 minutes then kept saying no connection. Made it difficult for those out of country and when paid for such a trip and it says these things are available, they should be available. Long ride for no proper AC. Guide was very knowledgeable and informative throughout trip.

This tour was a perfect way to spend a day in Dubrovnik from Split. We didn’t have to worry about how to how to get there at all with an awesome driver and guide. We were able to spend 4 hours of our own time there. We spent it walking the City Wall and it was so worth! We ended the day with the best oysters of my life.

Do Not Recommend

I wouldn't really recommend this, although it seems like one of the more convenient ways to arrive to Dubrovnik from Split. First, when we arrived, right on time, we were given an attitude from the employee at GrayLine, who gave us dirty looks and was extremely rude. We boarded a mini bus that was not in the best condition, as the walls and roof were full of stains. The tour guide was knowledgable, but we could not hear her during the walking portion of the tour because the town was busy and whisper units were not provided. The walking tour was advertised as 90 minutes, but it was only 60 minutes. The worst part was that the mini bus did not have air conditioning that was working, even though it was the first thing listed on the advertisement for the excursion. This would have been acceptable if it weren't over 90 degrees outside with a 4 hour journey back to Split. The driver nor the guide did anything except say "oh well!" The Oyster Tasting experience is just a stop at a small store on the side of the road for you to buy your own oysters. I would say the listing was misleading on this aspect as well. Lastly, it says drop off and pick up from the same spot, but they dropped us off elsewhere because it was an easier stop for the guide and driver. Contacted Viator for assistance with a partial refund (mainly because of how uncomfortable the 4 hour drive was due to lack of air) and they refuse to assist. I wouldn't even book another tour through them because of this, as they will not assist if needed.

Big day but worth it

Dubrovnik is stunning but very busy with tourists especially when there are cruise ships in. Best to pay to walk on the walls which were less busy and have magnificent views.
