Great scenery, picnic ground with stores selling food and ice cream, bar. Main walk is 3km long, Can be very hot. There is a short cut to picnic grounds down a number of stairs. Our guide Stipe was terrific and took us the short way. He was very informative the whole trip. Entrance fee to Krka National Park not included in tour price and is an extra 30Euro per adult.

Firstly, and importantly, the Krka Waterfalls were beautiful and well worth visiting. However, the day was poorly organised by our guide Stipe.
Firstly, he gave only a brief and confusing outline of the day, relying on swathes of information posted to a WhatsApp group (tough if you hadn't brought your smart phone).
Secondly, he rushed through the Park, with insufficient time to take everything in, given the number of visitors, having said that those going to the wine tasting had to stick to his personal timetable. This left us with 40 mins spare time which would have been better spent on a more relaxed walk.
Thirdly, he was totally unsympathetic to my wife who had hurt her leg and was using a stick: "This should take 7 to 8 minutes" (looks dismissively at my wife) "or 10 minutes for you".
Fourthly, he left during the wine tasting having given only sketchy details of how to get to the beach. His "It's 2 minutes over there" made no mention of the fact that we had to leave the town of Skradin and cross a bridge.
All in all, the organisation was a long way from what we have come to expect from Viator.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations.
We'd like to clarify a few points about the tour. The schedule is carefully planned in advance and is the same for every tour—it is not determined by the guide personally. The timing of the wine tasting is set in coordination with the winery, and guests who choose this option are accompanied there accordingly.
On the day of your tour, two additional guests decided to join the wine tasting after arriving in Skradin. They walked ahead toward the winery, while the rest of the group, including your wife, continued at a comfortable pace. Everyone arrived before the tasting began.
Guests typically have around 2 hours and 20 minutes in Skradin. The wine tasting lasts approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, leaving additional free time afterwards. While there is time to enjoy the wine tasting along with lunch or a swim, it is generally not possible to fit every activity—exploring the town, having a full restaurant meal, wine tasting, and swimming—into the available free time. We therefore encourage guests to choose the activities that best suit their interests.
Before free time begins, the beach is pointed out from the boat and again upon arrival in Skradin, with directions provided for those wishing to swim.
We are sorry if any part of the experience felt rushed or if our communication did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving the experience for future guests.
Best regards, Flarent team

Stephen was awesome! He was very organized and easy and open to talk to. The trip itself is well worth it as you get to see a beautiful national park and a lovely beach. Well worth it.

Brilliant look at the countryside to/from Krka with our driver Joseph. The national park was stunning - fantastic to walk around with commentary from out guide Stipe. The boat ride to Skradin was nice (little to no wait in the queue due to Stipe's timing) - wine tasting was good - hero was the desert wine which I don't often lean into

If you want to feel like you’re walking through Rivendell in Lord of the Rings, or part of the video game, Zelda, this is the trip for you!
Krka national Park was BEAUTIFUL. To avoid spoiling it, you just have to see it.. If you are used to doing a lot of hiking, I would reset expectations. This is more of a beautiful walk-through nature, but not going to accumulate a ton of mileage. We added on the wine tour and absolutely loved the winery. It’s local and had a very authentic Mom and Pop feel. Highly recommend getting either the avocado and shrimp salad or their homemade Skradin risotto. Our tour guide, Steepe (sorry on spelling) was knowledgeable, efficient, and offered even after the tour to allow him to text him for questions or recommendations. So nice! Be on time to the tour. It just makes it more efficient for all.

This is a beautiful park! The walking trails are easy to maneuver in sneakers or sandals. Take time to see the wildlife! This is a nice day trip that takes you out of the city for a bit

What isn’t written on the description of the excursion is that we need to get on a 15-20 min boat ride to the national forest. Whilst I love boats I do think it’s worth mentioning for those who may not as it is the only way to get there. Also we queued for the boat for an hour each way, we were lucky that it wasn’t mid August as that would’ve been pretty brutal but again worth giving a heads up so that you can prepare with water/snacks during the wait.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. The boat transfer is part of the experience , which is why we don’t usually highlight it separately, as most guests enjoy it as part of the excursion. However, we completely understand your point and appreciate the suggestion, especially for guests who may be less comfortable with boat rides.
We’re also sorry about the waiting time for the boats. During busier periods, queues can unfortunately occur and are managed by the national park authorities. We appreciate your recommendation regarding water and snacks and will certainly take it into consideration when providing information to future guests. We’re very sorry if this caused any inconvenience or disappointment.”

Great experience! Stipe was informative, fun and went out of his way to make sure everybody was accommodated! (even with multiple languages) I got right through the gates and parking… Everything was so easy which is much appreciated in such a big attraction. The whole day was stunningly beautiful and we ended it with a boat ride to a super sweet small old town with wine tasting, and cheese which was absolutely delicious with new friends. If you’re in Crotia, Krka Falls is a must see!

The national park is very picturesque and the board walk very enjoyable. The entry fee was €30 each on top of the tour fee. The wine tasting was enjoyable and the wines pleasant. There is just one variety of local cheese drizzled in olive oil. The wine lubricated conversation with a very pleasant group of American medical students! Tea the tour guide was chatty, informative and kept the coach party on schedule but we didn’t feel rushed.

Guide:
Leo was a great guide, funny, knowledgeable, and made sure it was a flawless process.
Krka NP and Skradin:
The falls were beautiful, I would highly recommend walking around before taking the path through the park. You have plenty of time. The wine tasting was great, coming from someone who does not drink much wine, they were all delicious.
Jackie_H, Jun 2024
The beauty of the falls and the charm of the old Town is amazing. The walk is a little crowded, but it was stunning.
Larry_W, Oct 2023
Waterfalls and winery were fine but the tour guide provided by Flarent was terrible. He made inappropriate gay comments directed at the winery owners sons to everyone on our bus when wine tour was over. This was very unprofessional and not what we signed up for or paid for. This was NO place to push a personal agenda / lifestyle! Sorry but don’t think we will be signing up for any more tours thru you guys.
Response from Host, Oct 2023
Hi,
we are really sorry if you had some unpleasant experiences, have to admit that is hard to believe that something inappropriate could come from our guide Leo, especially after so much lovely comments we have for him. Anyway, we will investigate what happened and an apology from our side.
All the best, Flarent

It was a lovely day! Expect crowds at the waterfall in peak season, however it is manageable to walk through either way.
The wine tasting was the best part as it was a smaller group that had detached from the main group.
Our tour guide was also really knowledgeable and funny.

Thank you for your lovely review. Best, Flarent

There is no real guide given at the falls. It is more like a drive there. If you do the optional wine tasting then the timing given is not accurate as you have to rush as you only get about an hour at the falls. Wine, cheese and oil is a misnomer as you get to taste three types of wine but all you get is one plate of cheese with oil poured over it. No description of the cheese or oil.
Response from Host, Sep 2023
We are sorry if you didn't get enough info on the tour, our guides try to feel the group and to be flexible with their expectations. Wine and cheese tasting, with really affordable price is not a lunch it is for experiencing domestic products of a region. People usually find it as a best part of the tour. Hope you anyway had a nice day... Best, Flarent

The tour operator was well-organized and spoke excellent English. She made sure everyone on the tour could communicate with her via WhatsApp, and she explained the overview of the park and sent a map to everyone via WhatsApp (make sure you have the app before arriving in Croatia).
She had a good knowledge of the history of Croatia and language as well and explained nicely why the Falls were so special to the Croatians under Yugoslavia rule and why today, you can only go to certain parts of the national forest to bathe.
The water is beautiful and our family enjoyed the sheep’s milk cheese and winery. After the tour, our daughter bought a fan with her babysitting money at a store on the street, just like the one lovely Gianna had used the entire time outside to cool herself (don’t worry, the bus is comfortable and air conditioned for in between outdoor moments) as a memory of the special tour.

Thank you for being our guest.

We really enjoyed seeing the falls and the wine tasting afterwards. Our group was very friendly. Our tour guide Leo provided some history of the area and kept the group together. He was excellent.

Amanda_R, May 2023
Great experience! The waterfalls were beautiful and the wine/cheese portion was great as well. However, I was a bit disappointed that the 20 minute boat ride never happened. Our guide never mentioned the fact it was being skipped, and when we thought we were heading to hit the guide announced we were heading home. It was still a complete experience without this, but I would have appreciated a heads up.
Response from Host, May 2023
We are really sorry if you didn't have the information regarding boat tour, because it wasn't possible during longer period of rains this month. Finally it started again from yesterday. We usually gave all detailed info in agency before the tour, during making a reservation, so we are really sorry if you didn't have that info on time and felt we do not care which is not the case. We are glad you enjoyed the tour anyway because it is really a nice and complete one as you mentioned. Hope to see you again some time. All the best, Flarent
