Your morning starts at a central meeting point in Sorrento, right next to Port Marina Piccola. Board a comfortable, restroom-equipped boat with room for a maximum of 12 travelers—guaranteeing an intimate excursion.
Spend time relaxing on the padded sundeck as you cruise along Sorrento’s scenic coastline toward Capri. Your first stop is the fishing village of Marina Grande.
Then, head to the famed Blue Grotto and beat the crowds with a morning visit to the famed sea cave (own expense). From there, you’ll continue cruising around Capri as you enjoy complimentary refreshments, alcoholic beverages, and fresh seasonal fruit.
Admire landmarks like the White Grotto, Green Grotto, and Punta Carena Lighthouse as you sail toward the island’s port. After disembarking, you’ll have three hours of free time to shop or grab a meal in Capri on your own.
Pass by the Natural Arch and Faraglioni rocks as you make your way back to Sorrento, stopping to swim and snorkel (snorkeling equipment included).

This Capri Boat tour was one of the best decisions we made to explore Capri and it’s grottos. We were glad to have this more personalized experience as opposed to dealing with the chaos of the ferry lines.
We met our tour group down at Marina Piccola (there were 12 people total in our group, including us). The first place we went to was the blue grotto, which was the right move considering it had been closed down later in the day due to rough sea waters. We were so fortunate to be able to go inside the blue grotto, which was such a surreal experience! Because we went first thing in the morning, we only had to wait in line for no more than 20 minutes (by in-line I mean waiting on the boat until a smaller row boat comes by to pick you up and bring you into the grotto).
After the blue grotto, we saw a few more stops, including the Lover’s Grotto and the lighthouse. Riding around Capri in a boat is an absolute dream, the cliffsides are so beautiful that you feel like you’re in Jurassic Park or Avatar. Our tour guide, Elena was so incredible as well! She was super knowledgeable about Capri, and gave us plenty of history on what we were seeing as we rode around the island. She also just gave a very positive and relaxed vibe while on board, making sure we were all taken care of and having a great time. At one point, we docked in Capri and Elena escorted us up to the buses, where she recommended things to do in our 3 hours of free time in Capri. We did her recommendations, taking a bus to Anacapri, getting lunch, and then doing the chair lift. The chair lift was a surreal experience, it’s surprisingly peaceful and the views are out of this world! Because my husband and I had done a longer lunch (at Ristorante Christopher right next to the chair lift, highly recommend!), we didn’t have time to go into the town center of Capri which we were fine with. Afterwards, we rode to the Faraglioni rocks. We weren’t able to ride under them because the waters were too rough by then, but we were fine with that since we still got pictures of it and had gotten into the blue grotto earlier.
They finally showed us Marina Grande and dropped us off at Marina Piccola. Overall, it was an incredible tour that we were very glad we booked!

Went early to get to Blue Grotto before the crowd which was worth it, gave us a great tour around Capri, stopped for a swim twice. Didn’t have time to do the chairlift with lunch on Capri but great tour and service overall. Would recommend.

Crew was fabulous! Boat was so fun! We couldn’t go in the Blue Grotto due to the water being too choppy, but the trip was still worth it. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing experience on this boat tour to Capri. The views were incredible and they stopped a few times to allow us to swim. We did not feel rushed and there was more than enough time to spend time at the beach in Capri and eat lunch. It was well worth the cost and the highlight of our trip.

Grotto was closed due to weather conditions, very disappointing. But the hour we lost at Grotto wasn't given to us while on land at Capri, same original amount of time was given. Felt rushed at swimming sections. Fishing village and Roman ruins weren't discussed. Guide was somewhat rude to an Asian family on the trip.

We had a wonderful boat trip to Capri! Our captain was excellent, his skills on the water allowed us to get incredibly close to several beautiful caves, making the experience unforgettable.
Orsola was fantastic! She was knowledgeable about Capri and shared great recommendations for lunch and the best places to explore while we were on the island. Her local insights made our visit even more enjoyable.

MINDBLOWN. This is the biggest highlight of my trip in Sorrento. I’ve had a lifetime experience with this boat tour, and the absolute best human beings & crew you could ask for: Massimo the captain and Angela the assistant.
Massimo is the sweetest guide who tend to everyone, ensuring no one is missing out. His sunshine-alike outburst of energy radiates everyone’s heart on the boat, and he does his best to bring you the best Mediterranean scenery. Did I mention he can serenade too? His singing is heartfelt, authentic, and shows his essence. It was memorable to meet someone who loves this ocean and his job so purely.
Angela is the sweetest lady with a warm smile. She makes sure you are comfortable, get you all help you need. These two human beings made the combo of once a life time.
You have to try this tour - you won’t regret.
Other tips: when I reached Marina Grande, we had about three hours of free time to roam. I chose to do Capri the Augusta garden and shopping. The semi-private bus was helpful because it shortens the waiting time, comfortable, and cheaper than taxi.

Massimo was our captain and Davide and Angela the crew. We had a wonderful day. We didn’t make it to the Grotto despite a valiant attempt on Massimo’s part at high speeds through the waves!!! Massimo took us to other spots that were very beautiful. Highlight of our trip, aside from Davide’s successful attempts to liven up our relatively older group, was Massimo’s serenade. What a gorgeous voice. We were all blown away and felt like we had the best tour!!! . Highly recommend. Freshly cut fruit and prosecco after a hot day in Capri was a welcome touch. A quick swim in the Mediterranean was a perfect cool down. Seeing the island from the sea is a must. They also have very good tips for what you can accomplish in a day on Capri and helping set up the bus transport was a lifesaver!! Thanks for such a wonderful day.

We couldn't enter the blue caves as the tide was too high, I believe this is a frequent problem. We weren't given the option to tour Capri but spent 4 hours on a boat travelling around the island.

Lucio and Massimo took us for the day and were absolutely incredible! So friendly and hospitable, no request was too big of an ask and shared so much knowledge about Sorrento and the beautiful Italian coastline.
Our only disappointment was that we arrived at the Blue Grotto quite early, and unfortunately the tide was too high for us to go inside. It was something we were really looking forward to seeing, so we wondered if it might be possible to visit it on the way back instead. We would have been happy to spend a little less time on Capri if it meant having the chance to experience the Blue Grotto.

The tide was too high so we couldn't go to the Blue Grotto (not the tour company's fault) but our Captain and Tour Guide, Vittorio and Mario, were the best. Shared loads of interesting information, great music and vibe on board, stunning places along the coast to see and stop for a swim. Absolutely worth doing a tour like this over visiting by ferry - definitely recommend and MBS should give Vittorio and Mario a bonus for the great job they do!

Massimo and David were great fun!! It was too windy for the Blue Grotto, but they made up for it by showing us other cool things. Swimming of the coast of the Capri was the highlight for me! They also play great music!

Tips are not included and they will insist upon it. Blue Grotto may be closed and they will not tell you before you get there nor will they cancel the trip, so you will be stuck sailing around the island for hours. The sun is brutal and unrelenting so be sure to be prepared for that. There is an opportunity to swim which is nice.

Orsola made our experience absolutely amazing! Throughout the entire trip, she made us feel like family and ensured we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The boat trip to Capri was unforgettable. Even though we weren’t able to go into the Blue Grotto, we still had an incredible time. Our boat trip to Capri was a highlight of our trip to the Amalfi coast. The tour was well organized. Our captain, Alessandro, was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and a very gracious host. This was a fabulous excursion to Capri allowing you to see the island from a unique perspective from the water. 3 hours of time to explore Capri were just enough to get a taste. But what set the experience apart was the absolutely stellar people. Lucio the guide and Ciro the captain were outstanding in every way. And most importantly, we hit really heavy and unexpected traffic on the way into Sorrento and they kindly held the boat just long enough for us to board-by doing so they saved our vacation.
