Our tour guide was amazing. Telling history relating to our interest. Like walking through with an archeologist with a great story telling ability!! Amazing time. Plus skipping all lines was huge bonus we didnt realize going in how nice that would be

Francesco picked us up in a clean, well appointed car in Sorrento. It was comfortable despite a lot of traffic on the journey. Giulia was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient through a crowded Pompeii. This was our second tour of Pompeii, and we would absolutely do it again!

Our guide, Maria, was so great at explaining the history, culture and science associated with Pompei and the volcanic eruption. My only complaint was that we didn't get to see nearly enough.

We had a wonderful guide with Goldentours International. She was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and savvy on where to start to avoid the crowds. She did a great job showing us the highlights and explaining the history so everything was really meaningful. Definitely recommend!! Driver was great, nice and easy day.

The guide was excellent-knowledgeable and fun. She showed us the highlights and kept us moving at a good pace. She even helped us find the best book in the gift shop. Then she brought us out to our very friendly driver for the drive back to our hotel. It was all perfect!

We can highly recommend this tour. On a hot day having the driver pickup from our hotel and for the return journey was excellent. The tour itself was amazing. Our guide Ornello who was waiting for us when we arrived tailored our tour to our family. Engaging our teenagers and showing us the quieter parts of Pompeii away from the crowds. We saw many big tourist groups and also DIY tourists with maps and I am sure that having a personal guide ensured we got the most out of our morning!

A guide through Pompeii is a must, and Roberta was incredible. She was so knowledgeable, clear, and passionate about the history of the city. It was clear that, even though she probably serves as a guide often, she is still excited about what she is describing, and awestruck by the most recent excavations and restorations. Our driver was on time, courteous, and professional. This was a fantastic tour—highly recommended.

We had an excellent driver, Fabio, who was so pleasant and informative and made sure we got to Pompeii and to our guide. Our guide at Pompeii, Iliana was exceptional. It was so hot but she made sure we saw as much as possible was very educated and engaging. We love Pompeii.

We take the tour and arrangue that pick us at 9am at our hotel at 8:45am the hotel manager was looking for us at the breakfast lounge because he said the driver was in a hurry, i talked to the driver and explain still not the time we arrange and he doesnt like it, because of the traffic arrive to pompeya from sorrenro take us 1:15, there is no problem to us, the guide tour was amazing, really good he take a little more than 2 hour, qhen we finish we want a little time to buy souvenirs and the tour huy said its not possible because the driver has another tour and he is un a hurry, this is not posssible, we are tourist. And part of that is buy souvenirs; we cant do it, later when we are near to sorrenro the driver pull apart is a gas station and tell us he has another tour and he cant take us to our hotel and anither driver will do it!! The tour was tainted for a bad driver, this is the end

Massimo was an excellent guide. Our family commented upon his knowledge and explanations. It was August, Hot and Crowded but our guide was great at steering us away from the crowds and finding interesting areas to see along with every possible shaded spot to give us information and a place out of the sun for a few minutes. Outstanding guide. Our driver from the port was also very helpful and recommended a great restaurant on our way back. Just be aware that in August with the traffic, it took us about 2 hours to get back to the ship, probably double the time it might take other times of the year.

A perfect day! I can't imagine any tour guide could have done a better job! Our driver picked us up at the ship - no problem finding him. Our guide knew everything about the history of Pompeii, from the past to the present. She was friendly and fun to be with. And, she gave us a great lunch recommendation!
