Everyone says this trip is out of this world and I agree... utterly amazing. Expensive yes... but worth every penny for this once in a life time experience. We must have had the worst weather you could ask for, torrential rain non stop but the experience was still fabulous. Our guide Guiiseppe was so enthusiastic and informative. We found truffles! We picked mushrooms! We were in the heart of the mountain in the most beautiful scenery it was stunning. Word of warning... you do need really good footwear this is not a stroll it is a heavy hard walk on very uneven ground. Another word of warning... the 3 course lunch was about 9 courses! Again amazing food and we cleaned our truffles and eat them on each course. We also got given some to take home. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough thank you to Guiseppe, the driver and our truffle guide for making this such a brilliant experience.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide Giuseppe was incredibly insightful and a fantastic guide. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience that we will always remember! We hiked up a beautiful mountain area with Giuseppe, a truffle hunter, and his two truffle sniffing dogs and were lucky to find two truffles. Watching the dogs sniff them, then bring them to their owner was amazing. We then ate lunch at a classic traditional Italian restaurant with incredible food, and ate the truffles we found on top of our food. It was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip and I would highly recommend it!!

I highly recommend this tour. Giuseppe is an amazing guide. This is a once in a lifetime experience and a great way to experience Italian culture and food. The truffle hunter and his dogs are very friendly and fun to see them work in action. The meal after the truffle hunt was fabulous!

Maurizio was an amazing tour guide, and really made the trip that much more enjoyable. We found a fairly large truffle and were able to enjoy it with our incredible dinner afterward. The place where you search for truffles is a little over an hour from Sorrento and then dinner is in a nearby village. It is a full day's worth of activity. When you start your hike to find truffles, the mountain is a bit steep at the very beginning and the whole trail is quite rocky. However, it is not challenging and you can move at your own pace. It should not be an issue for anyone that doesn't have mobility issues. It's a unique experience and a very nice day. I recommend it.

This is an experience of a lifetime!! Truffle hunting with a real truffle hunter and his trained dogs is not your everyday experience. Our English speaking guide had this so well organized and was always translating and explaining the process to us. It was a good hike and watching the dogs work is something we will never forget plus hearing about all the training they go through. Then, Yum Yum Yum, fresh truffles grated on ricotta cheese - later at our excellent lunch, more of our truffles grated on pasta. Guiseppe was our knowledgeable guide and gave us great information all day long. We would not have missed this adventure for anything - it is so unique.
