Our guide Tony was just amazing. We would have never enjoyed Pompeii without Tony. Pompeii is a great city and all the explanation that we heard on the tour was just amazing and was one of the best experience we had on our trip to Sorrento. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who visits Pompeii.

A must see tour and visit. The education and history of Pompei and volcanic remains of what was a city much larger than I anticipated. To learn how the people lived was powerful.

This is an amazing place but this particular trip of 2 hours in 34 degrees could have been greatly improved with time at the end for a short rest and a drink before returning to the coach.

Only 2 hours actually at Pompeii and it was so crowded and busy with rude people. The tour guide should have set meeting points so that he didn’t have to spend time rounding everyone up. Tour was not worth the price.

Lovely friendly guide. It is a 4 hour tour including travel! We went on a great day as it was quiet around Pompeii if it was busier we wouldn’t have got to see as much as we did.

One of our favorite excursions while visiting Italy was touring Pompeii. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and walked us around the site with the limited time we had. What knocks this tour down from 4 stars to 3 has to do with the logistics of picking up attendees. The tour was pushed out to start about 45 mins later than originally scheduled due to the number of groups that needed to be picked up from their hotels. I felt it was unnecessary as many of us were being picked up at a centralized spot in Sorrento. Picking up everyone at the same spot would have allowed us to start much earlier, skipping the traffic, and spending more time at Pompeii. Just didn't feel like we got what we paid for...

It was fantastic, amazing and everything I expected it to be plus a whole lot more. Our guide Fab was great he was patient, answered questions even if he'd all ready been asked the same questions. It was a hot day and he did try to find us shade when he was telling us about certain things. We went on the morning tour which is a good idea as it a hot day. It's very dusty and dry at Pompeii so plenty of water and a hat.
