Great boat trip from Sorrento with Fernando and his team to Capri. It was a great move to moor to boat in the Marina Piccola in Capri, and then take the bus or a taxi to the main part of Capri. Arriving from the Marina Grande will cost extra and it looked chaotic and super busy, even in October. The bus ride itself is an experience! We loved cruising past the white and green grotto (we skipped the blue grotto as huge lines waiting to get in) and the Faraglioni. Plenty of time to jump into the sea from the boat for a swim and some snorkelling. Definitely recommend!

The captain of boat was exceptional. He was very informative about the history of area, and took his time letting explore and take pictures. Capri was beautiful, and again we didn’t feel rushed to get back to boat. Great way to spend a day!

Fantastic trip. Started with a tour round the island to see some of the caves. Unfortunately the blue grotto was closed due to tide being too high. Our guide and captain were so accommodating and told us the history of each location. Sandwich was good. Could possibly do with an extra hour in Capri you need to leave at least half an hour for the bus queues. Taxi is expensive but worth trying to share with other tourists. All in all a fabulous trip would highly recommend Many thanks

My wife (36) and I (36), both American, took this tour on 9-27-23 & had such a great time! Blue grotto was closed due to very high tide (see pic). Our guide, Luigi, was a master captain and navigator with great English. Two chances to swim (float, really) with noodles just off the boat. Small lunch provided upon disembark. We had 3-4 hours in Capri to ourselves and took the chair lift up, had drinks and snacks, and back down, and saw the whole island from there. You’ll have to take either a taxi or bus from and to the port after disembarking. It is the full day, but you’re back in Sorrento in time for dinner. Amazing experience! Would recommend!

The grottos and climbing in and out of the dingy, not recommended for 75 plus yr old women. Capri itself was a thrilling bus ride to the center which was PACKED.

The plan that was advertised is perfect, but they fall short of what was offered. For the cost, should be doing what is offered. The trip around the island was great and the staff on the boat was nice. 12 people was perfect. We had confusion finding them in Sorrento, only 15 minutes of swimming, we were dropped in Capri with minimal explanations, and it took 20 minutes to get to shore. They should have had the water taxi ready and tickets ready for the funicarle or the bus to anacapri. Youll get 3 hours, not 3-4. Itll take you 45 minutes to get to one to either.

This tour was amazing. Luigi was a wonderful guide, he explained the sites to us and gave us great recommendations for our time on Capri. We got plenty of time to swim as well. The time on Capri was nice and the lunch options were very good. We went with our kids ages 11-18 and this was the highlight of our trip to Italy for them.

Great tour with Luigi he was so informative and accommodating. We didn’t go inside the Blue Grotto because the line was very long. I would suggest a different excursion if that is a priority! The port this experience drops you off requires a 15 min taxi ride to the main city center. $20 euros

Our awesome trip to Capri

This was my favorite excursion in Rome. My wife and I were on our 25th wedding anniversary and this trip was magical. First the scenery was amazing cruising down the Sorrento coast to Capri. The weather was a bit cloudy but made the cruise much more pleasurable as my wife and I had the bow to ourselves to lay on. Was such a great way to see the coast. When we got there the island took our breath away. It was like the garden of the gods. If Zeus actually did live somewhere I think this was it. The water was so clear and blue and the landscape so unreal I felt like I was swimming in a Disney ride the entire time. The city on top was also so beautiful and a great way to see Capri looking down on it. Then he took us through the arches and showed us the rest of the coast including a couple grottos. The blue was closed due to it being closed up. It's rare that visitors can actually get in due to it being just the right timing. I did not want the trip to end but we will be back with the kids soon. They are old enough to appreciate its beauty now. So all in all I highly recommend this tour and Fernando and Phillipo who were very knowledgeable and courteous the entire trip. See you soon I hope my friends!
