Great way to learn about Cambodian food. Our children 8 and 10 enjoyed the prep and cooking. Starter, main and dessert so if you do the morning time slot don’t have a big breakfast.

Sopheap was so lovely, cheery and friendly. We arrived tired from our day’s explorations but were soon uplifted by this experience.
We did a short market walkabout to see where the locals shop and then started our cooking workshop.
Everything was very clean and well prepared. I’d highly recommended this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pleasant, friendly host chef and good introduction to ingredients and techniques. It was a hot day and all the working and eating spaces were only fan cooled but not uncomfortable. She rushed us through so the experience was just ~2 hours including the walk thru the market. She also offered us a beer with our meal which was nice but we learned later that was at our cost. All perhaps similar to other cooking experiences in town.

Sopheap was such a light. I did this experience alone and I thought I might be shy or quiet but her energy and smile made the experience 10x better. The food was amazing and learning how to cook it myself was a bonus. I am an expat here and grocery shopping and finding things to cook can be hard. There are foods I’ve never seen before, different cuts of meat im unsure how to cook with. Taking a cooking class full of ingredients that I can find every day here was very helpful. Ive never felt so immersed in Khmer culture and Sopheap was the best teacher. I definitely recommend this experience. And it’s right on pub street so once you’re done you can walk around and explore the area and the night markets.

Sinuon was our teacher and she was great! Each person can choose their own appetizer and main course. I made Green Mango Salad and Fish Amok. I chopped most of the veggies and spices/seasoning. We made Amok paste. Everything was delish. We had banana flambé with passion fruit and coconut cream for dessert. Too much food for one person to eat, so come hungry! Directions weren’t precise. Google Maps took us to Amok restaurant. Class is at Paper Tiger a couple of restaurant down Pub Street.

Sinuon was the lady who took the cookery class and she was amazing to taking me around the market explaining about all foods to teaching how to prep and cook the food, I ended up with the most amazing 3 course meal, there were meat, fish and vegetarian options, I loved it, well with the money!

Great experience! Working in a small group, you have the opportunity to visit the market nearby to learn about local produce and then return to the special kitchen to prepare a three course meal that you then get to enjoy. This was a really fun experience that I would do again. It would have been good to know more specifically when confirming the name of the restaurant rather than receiving GPS coordinates for the location. Otherwise, it was really great.

What a super fun authentic cooking experience! Channy took us through the market and as we ogled the beautiful dragon fruit, it became part of our meal. She is very knowledgeable and intuitive to each person's involvement. Very good, delicious, delicious meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Sen, our guide, and Tim, our driver, did a fantastic job from start to finish. Sen was accommodating, engaging, and had us laughing the whole time with his sharp one-liners. He made the tour not informative and genuinely fun. Tim kept everything running smoothly on the road. Together they made the experience memorable for us, and we would book with them again without hesitation.

It's a must do experience. Jenny (English name) is a great teacher. She was able to teach my khmer friends that never cooked before how to make something from their native land. And the portions are HUGE. We enough leftovers for the next couple of days. Except for the banana flambe, I ate all of that . Yum 😋

One of the best evenings we had in Siem Reap. We booked the group cooking class but ended up being alone there and it was perfect. I recommend you book the 5pm class with Sopheap she was so kind and such a great cook! Also the portions of food were huge we were stuffed after leaving the class. Great value for money.

We followed the meeting point directions exactly and no one met us. We texted the tour operator 3 times to ask where they were but got no response. I do not recommend this experience and believe Viator should remove it from their list.

If you are interested in learning how to shop for ingredients then chop and cut everything needed to cook the most amazing Khmer meal, with the bonus being when it's time to eat and share with you family or friends the amazing meal that you created.
This is a once in a lifetime experience with all great host, Sopheap chhan was so amazing with our son taking care in teaching him with great patience and a great smile the whole time while my wife and I sat back and enjoyed watching her interact with him. She is definitely a great teacher and very very good at what she does.
Thank you very much Sopheap, for sharing your great talents with my family and myself, we had a great time and the taste of everything was just as incredible as your teaching skills!!

We spent a few hours with Sinuon making a variety of delicious dishes! There was so much food and the attention to detail for presentation was phenomenal.
This was probably one of the best cooking classes I've done on my travel and I say to anyone reading "book it!"

Amazing cooking class. It was just my husband and I and Sinoun was our teacher. She was fantastic, very fun and caring and a great cook. We made some incredible food in a very nice atmosphere. It was great value for money and plenty of food! Highly recommended for an activity to keep cool during the afternoon
